Madonna / Amber (50,879) by Abraham from USA Madonna's time is up. She's so desperate to try and stay relevant it's pathetic. She's in my opinion a washed up hasbeen who should have hanged it up years ago. Her new album hasn't done a thing. The single flopped and she is now is relying on autotune. Mariah is far more talented, special and makes good music. And she has a better chance scoring a hit and being more successful. Madonna may sale out concerts but that's all she can do. She can't sing and hasn't had a hit in 14 years. Amber what kind of a fan are to be calling Mariah old. Mariah is older now, but she isn't old. A woman or man in their 40's isn't old. In fact, they happen to be far more attractive. And insulting her outfit and saying the woman on the right looks better. You must be blind. Girl *bye*. (Sunday 15 March 2015; 5:37)

Edward (50,797) by Abraham from USA I agree, I think most would agree that Mariah needs a new sound, as well as working with new producers and artists. Sometimes an artists needs to take risks and try something that fans would never expect. Whatever Mariah releases, I'm looking forward to it. I think she definitely needs to get in the studio with Pharell and Timbaland. I want to say that I enjoyed everyone's posts today. All my favorites posted. Mariah (50,793) by Abraham from USA I agree that no one can make music and albums like Mariah. She's still the best talent in the music industry today. I don't care if she can't sing like she used to. She still can deliver, and as long as she continues making albums I'm going to continue to buy them. Even if Mariah took better care of her voice I doubt it would sound like it did in the 90's. No one's voice remains the same as it did when they were younger. Every singer had their prime where she sounded amazing. Mariah's is past hers, but she can still sing better than any female today. She needs vocal training and rest. People who don't know her don't know she has nodules. And none of us know if she had some type of surgery done damaging her voice. All I know is that I'll be a fan for life no matter how she sounds. Daydream (50,691) by Abraham from USA Today I listened to the "Daydream" album. It's been awhile since I've enjoyed it. Practically every song is a gem and Mariah's voice is amazing. "Fantasy" is one of Mariah's best songs. "Underneath the stars" is beautiful. One of my favorites. "One sweet day" is legendary. She did great on "Open arms". "Always be my baby" is cute Mariah lol. Not really a song I like, but still great. "I am free" is amazing. I get chills with her vocals on that song. "Long ago" and "Melt away" are both cool. And "Forever" is brilliant. Very doo wopish. lt's so cool when you rediscover an artist's era and album. 1995 was the masterpiece of "Daydream". 2005 was her incredible return/comeback with the amazing "The Emancipation Of Mimi". So hopefully the pattern continues for 2015. (Friday 6 March 2015; 23:44)

The Beatles (50,626) by Abraham from USA They're legendary, no doubt about that. But I just can't get in their music. I like a couple of songs, but their work isn't my cup of tea. For the most part I find them boring. Mariah is on another league of her own. She's just as high with them and the rest of the other legendary music artists. I do believe she'll either tie or break their number ones record. She just needs a really good song. (Wednesday 4 March 2015; 17:04)

Jenny (50,549) by Abraham from USA Doesn't matter. Diana did fine with what she had. She was a gifted singer and has many songs that showcased her vocal power and ability. When it comes to music and career, she outshines Celine and Whitney. Her and Mariah are the only two legendary female artists who had the biggest and best careers. No others compare. Especially Celine. This is a Mariah Carey messageboard so this will be the last time I post about Diana. Say what you want about her voice, but at the end of the day she's an icon and legend who people to this day still remember and admire. And who isn't just remembered for one of two songs lol. Stacey / Baby (50,548) by Abraham from USA I wasn't talking about voice. I was talking about music and career. Diana slays Celine in both those things. Celine's music bores me to tears. And you're right, "All by myself" is one of her few hits lol, which is a remake by the way. Diana is an icon and legend who paved the way for other female artists. Just like Mariah. Shelly / Lee (50,507) by Abraham from USA Thank you Shelly. I appreciate your kind words. I love your posts more. Lee, Celine's album may have sold well but what exactly did it do for her? Did she score a hit a song? Or did her album get nominated? No, Mariah is the one who is capable of that. "Beautiful" made it to number 15 and would have more and likely made it to number one had the whole shoulder injury never happened. And the album would had been released originally as it was recorded and would have sold more. I wasn't trying to put Celine down, I was just stating facts. Mariah is the better artist and talent and still the best voice in the music industry. When Mariah sings Jazz or in her low register she still sounds amazing. The Beacon showed she still has it. Excuse me for putting Mariah on a pedestal over Celine. A woman who has written/produced all her music, has had *platinum* albums, has the most number ones. Celine / Mariah (50,463) by Abraham from USA "There's nothing really bad you can say about her." Uh, yes you can. She hasn't had a good successful album since "Let's talk about love". Doesn't write her own material. Her music is boring. And hasn't had a hit since when? (Someone let me know lol.) Mariah has always been a better singer and artist than Celine. Talented too. Mariah can have a hit song. Celine has a great voice. But Mariah is above her. Hell Mariah is above almost every female artist in history. With the exception of Diana Ross. Stop losing faith in her. Vegas could work. It's not a permanent gig. She'll have some new music one day. Some here are acting like it's the end for her. (Friday 27 February 2015; 2:26)

What's going on (50,458) by Abraham from USA I'm very annoyed, and disappointed with the board. It seems like everyone's bashing Mariah and wanting answers. Mariah doesn't have to answer to anyone. And bringing up "The breakfast club" interview? People are just now commenting on it now, then when it first came out. I happen to enjoy it. She didn't ramble as someone stated. Who cares about her dissing Ariana and Nicki? Mariah had every right to be offended with the comparisons. A chick who has an average (nasal) voice. That doesn't write, produce or compose Jack. Isn't a vocalist or a belter. I'd be offended too. She wished her wanna be a** the best and longevity. Nicki is a non factor. No talent, nada. Hella getto and disrespectful. It seems people are turning against Mariah. And why? For not being in the public eye or giving the fans a little something. Uh no. Mariah can find herself and be with her children. New look / new sound (50,301) by Abraham from USA I agree with the person who suggested Mariah getting a new look. I was thinking maybe a shorter cut with a different hair color. Brunette, a blonder blonde, orange or redish color. Something different. Mariah looked fresh and amazing in the behind the scenes footage of the "Beautiful" video. She can do it again. Same with her music. She needs a new sound and new producers. Give JD and Jim Wright a break and work with some new people. A pop or ballad type song for a single with definitely top the charts. In the meantime, I'm still enjoying "MIAM". Still love "Beautiful" and "Dedicated". I would have loved a video for "Dedicated". (Friday 20 February 2015; 2:29)

I think she's more and likely rehearing for her Vegas shows. But I agree, a behind the scenes or documentary would be great. Just a thought (50,219) by Abraham from USA I agree with the person who said that Mariah should include some celebrities in one of her videos. That would be great. She had some cool people in the "It's like that" and "We belong together" videos. Brian McKnight, Went Worthmiller is it? And Julia Robert's brother. She could feature people who are relevant or hot right now. Pitbull would cool, he's a fan and didn't he mention Mariah recently? I've always wanted Mariah to do another "It's like that" type video, where she's going to some special ball or party. And she arrives looking beautiful and has some celebrities or music artists in it waiting for her. Basically waiting for Mariah to make an entrance and start the party. Anyone agree? When I first started posting here you were one of the people I really didn't feel because of your words. You hardly had anything nice to say about Mariah and were putting her down. But then I came to know Andrew, and saw you were nothing compared to him. I want to let you know that you can be as harsh as you want. No need to hold back. Next video (50,117) by Abraham from USA Mariah should get a good video director to direct her next video. Say like Brett Ratner. He's still around? The video could tell a story, or just be fun like "Beautiful". Many don't like it but I do. Honestly, how many women have looked that damn gorgeous at 43. She looked amazing. In my opinion "You're mine" has been her worst video. It gave me nothing. So hopefully we good a nice, cool video. Favorite of all time is "Fantasy". (Saturday 14 February 2015; 7:50)
