Come on now, they even released a statement that Mariah didn't have a "feud" with Joe Jonas at the NYE event, and that is something no one even reported on, yet they addressed it. They responded to some story about Mariah getting it on with Tanaka at a restaurant loo, yet another story I didn't hear about before they responded. Yet when multiple stories were leaked about Tanaka, not one to oppose it? Shawn wasn't even in contact with Mariah all these months, he said it himself that he hasn't spoken to her since Christmas, up until his birthday recently. Re: Mariah lost the plot after Memoirs (75,878) (75,885) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Although it frustrates me to no end that Mariah seems to have completely dropped promoting anything (especially after hyping it up before the release only to never speak of it again), I think I can still take that over the phony reality TV star drama that has been going on since the last 2 years. I mean fine, if she just wants to release stuff without caring how it does on the charts, it's up to her. Yes, we as fans will always want her to get one more hit era especially after the blow her image and career has received recently, but if Mariah says she's fine with releasing stuff without caring about the charts, I'm cool with it, but don't give us missed signals. Like you say you don't care, but yet you are going out of your way to risk all that you have achieved by acting like a budding reality star, "to stay relevant" is just confusing and doesn't make sense to me. Why drum up unnecessary publicity? Especially stuff that is so blatantly fake that no one, absolutely no one buys it anymore. The Tanaka angle, come on, really? Ever since Stella came on board, it's like Mariah can't stay single for a second. We get the Packer drama, even before that ended, we get the Tanaka drama. Before that even left the cooker, we immediately get bombarded with photos of Nick and Mariah going out to eat every single day, and stories about how they are back. Then suddenly Tanaka is back and Nick has completely disappeared. Stella for all the "empower women" bullshit you keep talking about, why are you making Mariah seem like she can't stay a second without a man? Mariah why are you going through with this? And who on earth goes out to eat every night all decked up, to known paparazzi infested places? You all gotta decide what you really want. Don't ruin your legacy to appeal to teens, who at the end of the day won't really buy music until it appeals to their taste. At this rate, it seems like Stella has left the Kardashian route and is instead taking the Bella Thorne route. (Tuesday 30 May 2017; 19:04)

Martyn on Wendy (75,884) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I'm sorry if this has been posted here before me, but Wendy had a minute long segment on her show about Martyn. As we know, Martyn was supposed to be in the US right about now and he booked tickets on the Wendy show for 2 consecutive days. Wendy kept a seat for him in his honor and contacted his friend to let her know that she's honoring him. She spoke a little about him. It was sweet and a gesture he would appreciate. First of all, like I mentioned before, no one was keeping tabs on Mariah's "relationship" with Bryan and the only stories we got were stories her team pushed. They are no "power couple" hence any stories on them is not worth the effort for any outlets. It can't be a coincidence that right after the stories "broke out" of their break up from TMZ, Bryan was suddenly not seen in her entourage, whereas right up until that he was all around the world with her. Also right after Bryan's exit, we kept on getting new pictures of Nick and Mariah together on a daily basis with stories about them getting together again, but right after Bryan got back Nick is completely out of the picture? I also noticed that when Bryan was gone the necklace from James was also gone, but now it's back from the time Bryan got back, like what on earth? Now with Shawn's exchange with the fan, it again doesn't add up. Their "narratives" and stories have always been inconsistent and silly. It's like a 5 year old is their PR executive, oh wait maybe it's Sasha. Y'all thought Mariah's World season 1 is messy, wait until you get season 2. (Monday 29 May 2017; 00:17)

All their business ventures are thought out and organized and "successful". I put successful in quotations because that's a key word. Team Bulochnikov however pulls out ideas from their arse crack *insert fake British accent* and throw it against a wall and they go with whatever sticks. Unfortunately nothing stuck since all of these bright ideas are abandoned half way or right after its release. I'm sure little Mishka was out there saying "Oh M, Kylie has a cosmetics line, you should totes have one for yourself, you're so hot" and bam they went shopping for an outlet. I am not a fan of Ariana but this was a nice gesture and I do feel bad for her too because even though this incident was not her fault, I'm sure she feels somewhat guilty that it happened right after her concert so she might feel indirectly responsible. That's a heavy weight to carry, especially at such a young age, or any age for that matter. I heard her mom helped some of the kids out by ushering them backstage. Ariana must be traumatized too, so it's brave of her to return to the same place, so I respect her for that. It indeed is a sweet gesture. (Saturday 27 May 2017; 02:26)

Next in line - beauty products? (75,777) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter So according to Page Six, MC and SB are planning on opening a beauty company which will feature make up, skin care and fragrances. Now while I think the beauty and skin care goes hand in hand with Mariah, since she has flawless skin, there are several things that are wrong with this move. 1) Why on earth would Mariah have yet another partnership with Stella? They already have a production house together, next thing you know Stella will be the executive producer of her next album, and like some other lamb pointed out on UK Mix, by the time Mariah realizes what a piece of garbage Stella is, Stella will be entitled to 50% of Mariah's property and have custody of Roc and Roe haha. 2) Stella cannot blend her blush/contour, the last time she highlighted she looked like she got hit by a glitter wall, she is a walking talking Oompa Loompa that can give Trump a run for his money/orange skin, and her whole makeup is a muddy mess and she looks like someone who hasn't showered in years. Who would want to buy beauty products from her? Seriously Stella doesn't know the difference between a contour powder/cream and mud. 3) And this is a more practical concern, why would they straight up open a shop and not test the market first? I mean most independent makeup companies now (Kat Von D, Too Faced, heck even Kylie) first release a limited range of products online first, test out the demand, then they will add to the range but still keep it strictly online, then they test out pop up stores and finally if there is enough demand they either first try selling at Sephora and then think about going for their own stores. Is Mariah going by her success of the MAC line by taking such a big step because that will be a mistake. The MAC line didn't only sell out for her own name. First of all MAC in itself is a well established brand, second the packaging was the main selling point especially the lipstick bullets and the bronzer with her face, third some people like collecting makeup and this was a perfect collector's item as it was the best packaging MAC ever had. I own a lot of the products from that line and I can say that the stuff she released won't work for many people. So I don't know why on earth she's making such a big investment without testing it out. (Friday 26 May 2017; 19:56)

I never had the good fortune of meeting him personally, but we have had many conversations on this board and he was always the sweetest. For that I feel like I've lost a friend. Martyn, from what I know of you and from what I've read from your family and loved ones, I know you were an absolute sweetheart. I was eagerly waiting to hear an update that he has been found safe and sound, so when I logged in to the board and saw all the message subjects, I was in shock. I'm sorry you couldn't fulfill your wish to take the trip you were so excited about. You have been taken too soon, but you won't be forgotten. We'll all miss you here, rest in peace sweetie.
