She took a family of untalented, semi attractive members and turned them into a worldwide brand. Article: Mariah Carey not having "midlife crisis" (74,986) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Since the rep said Mariah is at "the top of her game", it's confirmed to be Stella. Must have taken her a whole week to come up with something to replace "unbridled success". I don't get why they are responding to these tabloids. Like the main business of tabloids comes out of sensationalizing things, why would they even bother responding, unless Stella wants these stories highlighted somehow. If someone tells me now that Stella has been sent to go undercover and ruin Mariah's reputation by leaking stories, I'd believe them. (Friday 5 May 2017; 08:58)

When she was asked about it, her expression made it very clear that she isn't here for it. But I rolled over laughing when she said "there were a lot of real moments" and they showed the clip of the spectacularly lit (with multiple lights from each angle) and possibly the most staged moment of the whole show, which is the "Gazebo scene" where Bryan tells Mariah about his feelings and they dance haha. That scene is so staged, I cannot deal, everything from the big lights, the camera angles, the dance. I mean come on now. (Thursday 4 May 2017; 14:07)

Ever since Stella came, she has been making up one fake relationship story after another and we all know how each ended. James and Mariah's one ended with a nasty back and forth, where even if James only intended to use Mariah (if we are to believe Stella) it was overshadowed by the childish and aggressive quotes Stella released to tabloids calling him everything from mentally unstable to an abuser, which made people doubt team MC even more. Then a Bryan came along, with the strength to leech on. And then that ended in a nasty way too with him being called a user and fame seeker. So did Mariah even think that if this publicity stunt with Nick goes haywire, what the consequences of that will be? They have worked hard to maintain a good relationship with each other, they have kids together, if this ends in a nasty way there's a lot more at risk. (Thursday 4 May 2017; 14:03)

Video for "Cry" (74,939) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter So during the Elusive Chanteuse tour, while Mariah sang "Cry", the monitors on the back played a beautiful video of her dancing with Anthony Burrell, the visuals were stunning, so this fan made this video dubbing the live version video with the CD version of the song. The visuals playing in the monitor are stunning. And while Mariah dances, she looks beautiful and graceful and not stiff. If you check out the video of Mariah performing "You're Mine" at the BET awards, you can see a longer version of these visuals with Anthony along with visuals of her wearing a black dress on the screen behind her. He knew Mariah would not like it if he goes bashing Stella on Wendy so he didn't say anything but if you listen to his words he said something around the lines of "I'm not going to pull down a woman in this business because it's a very tough business for them", of course that's not the exactly quote but this was the gist. He never said "Stella is massively talented and is going to do anything to get Mariah to the top". If he thought she was good enough, he would say she is talented. He just refused to make fun of a woman in the business, so I'm taking it as if it was a man he'd spill the tea hahah kidding. (Tuesday 2 May 2017; 13:54)

She just went on Kimmel and then talked to a few radio people but that went nowhere. The GP had no idea she had any music coming, only the fans who really keep up with her or follow her on social media knew that. And she can't get a hit just with the lambs, if the GP doesn't know, she won't get a hit. She released the song and then she went silent and then resurfaced weeks later to host 2 parties for radio personalities. It was already late by then, it had already fallen off the charts. It drives me crazy because I'm so used to the "perfectionist artist" Mariah. The uninspired projects combined with the even more uninspired, cheap and lazy promo just kills me. She seems to pick stuff up and think it's going to be a hit, then when it doesn't become a hit (because no one knows about it since it's not promoted) she just abandons it and moves on. She has to know that in today's business when even the current artists are struggling and doubling up on the promo to stay afloat, she can't expect her name alone to sell. I would be glad to be proven wrong, but we've seen her do roll outs for the singles and she even couldn't manage to do much with it, so I shudder to think how will she ever handle an album release. And this isn't just any album, it's a make or break album. If Mariah wants to make a comeback after the disasters of the last two years, this is her only chance. So I hope Stella stays away from the album promos and let L A Reid and some other professionals deal with it. Stella doesn't have the contacts to pull the strings. (Monday 1 May 2017; 20:15)
