My sacrifice dahlings (90,906) by Will from Australia Ok so I've done something I've never done before and ordered the vinyl and cassette of AIWFCIY from her online store, as well as the double album CD deluxe, despite the fact that I've had to pay top dollar for it there and also shipping all the way to Australia and also I won't have the vinyl or cassette until after Christmas as it won't be dispatched until December 20, but we do do these things for Mariah and it will be the best Christmas gift I could ever get if doing this helps Mariah get her 19th number one and also pushes the album to No.1, baa. The Enunciation of Mimi (90,851) by Will from Australia I'm finding it harder and harder to understand what exactly Mariah is saying in her songs these days, like with In The Mix I had to see the lyrics to know. It's been like this for a while now, since maybe the MOAIA era and I'm surprised because she's known as such a perfectionist in the studio. Most of her back catalogue before that I got instantly the majority of what was said (and no I don't need no q tips from Nicki Minaj). I wonder if this is contributing to her declining popularity among non lambs, they just don't know she's singing. (Wednesday 18 September 2019; 22:41)

In The Mehx (90,843) by Will from Australia Listened to it a few times, nice bop and I like it just because it's new music from Mariah. Not really going to take off though I don't think, just missing that addictive hooks like her other uptempo songs such as Dreamlover, Fantasy, Heartbreaker, It's Like That and Touch My Body have. We Are Delusional would be a good fit to describe the way some people try to defend Mariah’s missteps and as they pass shade on her fans who have an opinion that Mariah isn’t actually perfect, so tiring. It's not just Glitter (90,772) by Will from Australia Mariah is not a very good actress, not just in Glitter, but in everything I've seen her in - and yes I'm talking about Precious too and I know she got nominated for blah blah blah. I don't think she can act at all very well. But why should she, she's a singer with an amazing gift and for that she is in a league of her own. Ellen is very dismissive of the diva behaviour Mariah would bring and it seemed like the producers had just booked Mariah and Ellen couldn't move along quick enough. I remember one segment where she tried to get Mariah to play a game and Mariah was being difficult and wouldn't answer the questions, that seemed to piss Ellen off. New album (90,451) by Will from Australia Mariah has gone from being very secretive about new music to taking endlessly about new music (MIAM and Caution specifically) and it taking a long time to be actually released so I’ll be speechless if we see a new album this year. She’s taking so long these days to make albums, I believe because she’s a perfectionist and also chasing a return to the top of Billboard, even though she denies it. A re-release of Merry Christmas for the anniversary with bonus tracks maybe? Or Caution re-release although with the tour over what would be the point of that? (Saturday 27 July 2019; 17:11)

Bleakness (90,161) by Will from Australia Some of the stuff people come out with here is so bleak. If someone wants to quote a line, a chorus or the whole bloody song then good on you. You're a fan and are moved by Mariah's lyrics and come here to celebrate it, not to be told how to be a fan in the eyes of the neurotic. These controlling Tommy Mottola need to get a life lol. It's not that deep. My favourite Mariah album, and no.1 of course is Music Box, Daydream and Butterfly. (Monday 1 July 2019; 22:08)

Justice for Glitter was a publicity stunt (90,115) by Will from Australia I've been sitting on this for a while but I really think Mariah's new management team coordinated the #JusticeForGlitter movement through a PR Agency in order to promote Caution. Mariah's public image was so bad following the nightmare era with that woman that I think they needed a huge turnaround for Caution to not flop completely and give her something interesting to talk about and get back in the good books. It doesn't take a huge investment to make something an iTunes No.1, it's very different to physical sales and once you planted the seed, push through social media channels, build a campaign and there you have it - redemption and you publicly have erased the biggest stumbling block in your career that people won't forget. My line of work is in publicity, communications and marketing and this instantly jumped out at me as a planned campaign. I'm delighted it worked if it was as Caution would have had a fraction of the attention it received without that narrative. (Thursday 27 June 2019; 23:18)

I could see the JLo thing come to life. They both have made the "I don't know her" into a running joke now and have said more pleasant things towards each other and as two aging stars it would definitely raise their profiles again. The new Mariah (89,879) by Will from Australia I honestly could not give two rats about if Mariah has or hasn't had work done to her. Those snakes in the grass will slither to the media with more crap about Mariah in the future but I'm not here for it. The Mariah we have today, the voice going from strength to strength, the interviews being inciting, her confidence blossoming, giving the lambs what they want with those snippets. It's really a return to a place I thought we wouldn't see again. The last time I truly was happy with Mariah in that she seemed happy with herself but not in a egotistical way was back in 2005, the success of TEOM and that comeback I think went to her head and she slowly derailed from there until rock bottom at NYE. I'm just thrilled to see her now, smiling, content, confident. They can say anything they want to say now she cut her lawn. (Sunday 9 June 2019; 01:03)
