Imperfect (39,887) by Gilbert from USA I've been listening to it alot lately and I can't believe how much I've been into it. It's a really beautiful song, not only for Mariah but for anyone who has been told something ugly by someone else. I wish that was a single or at least included in her album. I think I read somewhere that the reason it didn't release was because of the auto-tune. I really don't notice it unless I'm not singing alot. Either way, with auto-tune or not it's a great song. Okay my rant is over, and I'm really enjoying TAOLG as well. I didn't even listen to the clip from this whole Facebook thing, I just signed in iTunes and downloaded it. The Butler (39,054) by Gilbert from USA I cracked jokes wit my mom and sister in law when we went to see the movie. I told them if it sucks we can just watch Mariah's little piece and leave. Dang. I wish Mariah was in it just a little bit longer, but that's okay. I at least got to see something different. As far as the movie goes, it was well made. Very sad that us as human beings were that angry and hateful. At the theater all you would hear is either silence or see everyone shaking their head. At least I was and it also had a few parts where there was some humor in it. Oprah is a pretty good actress. (Monday 19 August 2013; 17:44)

Favorite album (39,025) by Gilbert from USA Hi guys and gals. For me to be honest my favorite song and favorite album always changes, I think in our lives we always feel most connected to a particular song or album. I went through some heartache with someone during the time E=MC2 came out then "4 the record" became one of my favorite songs, because I felt connected to it. Then later an old flame or so I thought came around, and with Memoirs HATEU became one of my favorites from the album. Because we all feel like that at one point. When you're happy and feel in love, you have all her songs that just make you feel warm inside. I wonder what song I'll connect to when she releases "The art of letting go". On another know, I've always loved "Betcha Gon' Know", to me that's a very powerful song. I bet with some good talent she could've made that an excellent music video. Mariah is working long hours (38,979) by Gilbert from USA Okay Mariah, you mentioned you're working all these long hours and you slipped because you were exhausted from lack of sleep. You can make it (38,868) by Gilbert from USA Hi everyone. So if you work non-profit, you know sometimes higher end people (directors mostly) stir up a lot of unnecessary drama. Anyway, if you guys can just send me some congrats for being offered a tech support job, that would be nice. I'm playing Mariah's Make it Happen C&C Dub and just smiling, because I have an opportunity to get back into my field. Five long years here, but once I get the clear, I'm able to move on. Number of songs for The Art Of Patience (38,862) by Gilbert from USA I go back to what I had mentioned before, just glad I read someone finally say the same thing, all this time that has passed she should have more then enough material by now. What is her plan/managements plan? To release an album, then later release another edition with additional songs to make more money? That's a rip off. Sorry but it just is, I feel all this time making songs not all of them are going to make the cut, unless as another fan said she does a 2 disc album. That's rare if she did, but I highly doubt that would happen. For me, I don't want another Memoirs or TEOM album, even though all of us have different taste, I still go hands down for E=MC2 (she just got lazy and management had horrible promotion for that album). Thank you Mariah (38,798) by Gilbert from USA That was a classic, I had an interview for another job and I've been up since 12 am and it's about 9 am and stuck at work for 9 hours, but I was able to listen to her message. I just smiled while listening to her and when she said "buh-bye" I was thinking, how cute. I went back in time to when she was leaving us messages and doing that. Thanks Mariah. 7/23 (38,785) by Gilbert from USA So I woke up, checked MC Archives, Mariah Journal, and her official site. Nada for today. I thought maybe some kind of announcement was going to be made. A thought just came up in my head that I would love another "Music Box" type of album. She sang her ass off on that album and wasn't it one of her best sellers for a period of time? Complaining (38,724) by Gilbert from USA All of us, including myself has to shut the mouf... I just hope you found some humor in that because some of us bicker back and forth and at the end of the day most of us will buy the album/music once it releases anyway. So either we buy her music, she lip-syncs, or whatever it is she does, we will either continue to support her or we don't. She is already well off whether we continue to be fans or not. That's just how I see it, I can complain as much as I wanted to during the E=MC2 album. IMO I think that album is way better then the over rated TEOM. I just was annoyed and I got rid of some of her things but here comes Memoirs and I still bought it so everyone has their moments of disappointment. Yet most of us still stick around and those who are no longer fans that's okay too. (Wednesday 17 July 2013; 20:23)

During my lunch break I was just thinking how I'm reading that it's possibly due to her being taller then him and sure enough... let's go back to that summer jam concert. They both stood and it looked so much better then her lounging on a hay stack. I was also thinking the same thing as you, they could've both sat on the hay stack and had fun and maybe make it like an "I'll be there" performance and just have fun together. Stacey (38,637) by Gilbert from USA Hey Stacey, great view and you know I just thought about your response and it makes me think back to the "illuminati" situation. Mariah has said herself and I want to say a time frame but I know it was shortly either after Glitter or Charmbracelet era. That the company itself is run by very powerful men and you will only succeed if you agree with their terms and if you don't they have a way to be able to make you not succeed. I think now that i know a little bit more about the illuminati and seeing how common it is becoming I'm hoping Mariah doesn't get into that, because I personally feel she doesn't have to sell out in order to retain "fame". Rhianna is mentioned a lot on here by a lot of members, where I've read that the record label is only focusing on her. If you look further into it, you see that she is part of the "illuminati" and becoming their product/puppet. She sold out and now she has fame. Matthew (38,633) by Gilbert from USA Hi Matthew, you brought up a good point and I'm not doing this to be negative at all, but I did feel that poor Miguel has to stand over her and make her feel like she is the queen. I mean, we all love Mariah and I think that's great, but I did feel that performance on the 4th of July where she just laid down on the hay was very tacky. Her legs weren't broken to where she couldnt stand and sing with him at least on some part of the performance. I kid you not when I seen it I thought, well is Mariah going to get her butt up to sing or is she gonna just have Miguel stand and feel like she being idol-ed. Come on, I mean I really hope some fans agree that it was a bit tacky for her to just lay there while Miguel was standing. (Wednesday 10 July 2013; 17:49)

Director of new video (38,626) by Gilbert from USA I know this is more of a complaint, but why Nick? I mean, his videos are pretty wack and he's just taking her down with him. I was reading past reviews and I'd go for a new form of Fantasy, Honey, Breakdown, My All, Dreamlover, I Still Believe, Don't Forget About Us, We Belong Together. I can respect the fact that they are married and he is her husband, but I still feel they need to keep that type of business separate. That's just me, but it was just my two cents. #Hermosa (38,427) by Gilbert from USA Wow, I think this is the best track ever. Yea right. First of all, they could've tried to make this a nicer track, but with 2 mixes already out IMO are wack a$$ tracks. The song is turning very, very sloppy. I don't know what MC is thinking or what is going on with this track, but if this is all that she has to offer, then I'm not even worried about her album being delayed anymore, because as of right now with these two tracks, I don't even feel like I'm looking forward to her album anymore. Bummer (38,370) by Gilbert from USA So I thought about this just now, so I came on to the messageboard to share. I will say I had a when I read that she is pushing her album back. However, I understand that she may be in that mode of the creative process, but what would suck is that what if we wait longer and they start taking songs out of the album. Not sure if she has a say in that or not, but that would really suck rocks if we wait and at the end of the project songs didn't make it on the album for whatever reason. I always had her back with people who liked to twist my arm about that, because I remember when I've met her I don't recall seen them look so big as we see on pictures. Do you think they are enhanced? Or she really did have work done? Also thank you to those who answered the album question. Blake (38,181) by Gilbert from USA That response gave me a laugh. thank you. That cover was all wrong. Bad shadows and bad Photoshop. Her chee chee's grow 3 different sizes with each pose. If she had a pic with just a relaxed look and her eyes closed, that would've been perfect. Because that album can put you to sleep. (Saturday 8 June 2013; 2:13)

Album cover (38,163) by Gilbert from USA Hey guys, this is just for fun. If you could change an album cover, which cover would you have preferred? For me: Mariah Carey, promo pic that had her face with the microphone (CSK 73348). Emotions, the picture that was in the insert which was in color. Music Box, the insert where the photo was a bit on the blue-ish side (Dreamlover video look). Daydream, I would've like to have the cover of the Forever single. (Friday 7 June 2013; 0:34)
