She looks great (79,898)
by Edward from USA
| |

It's weird that none of you have noticed how glamorous Mariah looks with her awesome ponytail. It should be a trend. She should actually sell them in different colors, I'm pretty sure all her female fans, and some very festive male lambs would buy them too. I actually think "Rainbow" should've been titled "Ponytail", such an intriguing and enigmatic title.

He asked: How is Mariah? And she responded: Ask her new manager. I still don't like her, but that answer was acceptable.

Licia, Sheila is worse than Andrew, believe me. She's usually judgmental towards gay people, but many people here, including the gay ones, don't seem to care much. When Martyn tragically died that day, everybody here as a family conveyed how sad they were, but this woman, if you can call her that, was the only person who wouldn't say a word expressing sadness for Martyn's death. She doesn't seem to know how stupid she comes across with those homophobic comments. Maybe she's a self-hating lesbian in denial.

Once Child (79,825)
by Edward from USA
| |
|
|
Ever since I heard "One Child" I've been in love with that song. Even more when I saw a very pregnant Mariah's rendition at the White House. I always thought it was a waste of a track not to be part of a soundtrack, one song, one perfect song. I was playing it the other day and a friend instantly told me: Edward, that's beautiful, and went and purchased it on iTunes. I felt happy because my friend is not a fan, she can't actually stand Mariah's diva persona. It also reminded me of those days when you didn't have to listen to a song for a whole year for it to supposedly grow on you. I'm also surprised "The Star" was nominated, since, as Randy said, "Right to Dream" and "Almost Home" are better tracks in my opinion. I'm going to listen to the other songs nominated in that category, hopefully Mariah has a chance at winning. It would be epic.

You're either laughing your head off with these comments about Lovari having any good quality as a singer or you're Lovari yourself. Stop trying to make Lovari happen, he's not going to happen. The links you've posted don't help your case.

Now that I'm aware Lovari suffers from a rare case of chronic constipation, it all makes sense. I hope he gets better soon. I can't wait for his take on "We Belong Together" and "I Don't Wanna Cry".

In the name of all that's holy, this guy assassinated "To Be Around You". Thank God Special K didn't listen to his version before her big night full of high notes, this man is horrible. He really sound like a goat being stabbed while drowning. This has to be a joke, even the Chipmunks would've done a better job. Is he a comedian? If he is, he's genius. If he isn't, Lord have mercy on our ears.

Eric (79,742)

I agree with Eric. He just should enforce the rules a little bit more without turning the board into a boring mess or into the Mary Poppins Archives. I don't think Andrew should be banned, even though I know most people are out for his head with good reasons. By enforcing the rules certain posts wouldn't see the light of day. One thing that is very strange is how a couple of people think it's not ok to be racist, but that's ok to be homophobic and being vocal about it here with name calling and insinuations.

Re: Patti on Watch What Happens Live (79,699) (79,714)

Licia, it seems to be Ms. Patti is a real friend to Mariah. That "no nonsense you better get your act together 'cause you're out of control" friend. And yes, Mariah is looking and acting different in a good way, and I could experience that at the Beacon Theater. She cleaned house and it was evident how relaxed and happy she and her new crew were. When Mariah is doing well, it's fair acknowledge. As for those who like to put Mariah in a box, she's not an effing object. There's only one Mariah, and last time I checked she was still a multiracial human being, she's beautiful as she is. All those things some like to hate make her who she is and the person we fell in love with. The sad thing is that those who always want Mariah to be this or that color are the ones to whom she wasn't too much of that specific color to be considered part of their group. She can't win for losing.

I didn't go last year, but I'm glad she mixed it up a bit. She sung Emotions, We Belong Together and Hero. O Holy Night and Joy To The World were highlights. Probably it was just me, but the atmosphere was so Counturella-free that it was surreal. I didn't sense any drama, everybody in the audience was happy, everybody on stage looked relaxed. The transitions between costume changes were great too. Except for one of the kid-dancers, a little girl, that sung a couple of songs that sounded like a goat who had drunk apple cider vinegar undiluted, the show was great. Thirty minutes before the show started, the theater was half way empty, I was nervous and a little sad, but out of the blue, a flock of lambs got in last minute and the house was packed. At some point and looked around and thought: "If the entire MCArchives community were here, we would all be on the same page for at least for a couple of hours, lol. Even Andrew would put his lipsynching detector down and enjoy himself."

Beacon Theater, December 4 (79,660)
by Edward from USA

I have to simply say that Mariah was great last night. I'm so proud of her. The show was a little simpler in terms of what was happening on stage compared to the first show I went to in 2015, but this time Mariah was more alive and confident. She was radiant and looked happy. She is not as skinny as some people might think from those pictures online, but she's definitely slimming down, she now looks great, a woman with some volume, and she even have some well rounded junk in her five-star trunk. She gave us just the right dose of diva here and there, and the interaction with her fans was great, especially with a fan that was wearing a lamb costume that caught her attention from the beginning. He was having a drink or something, and she asked him: What are you drinking? and he said: a splash, lol. Mariah was more present. I was paying close attention and I didn't detect any lipping. If she did it, at least she learned how to lip to perfection, but I have to tell you guys, watching a clip online could be very deceiving. Mariah dodged a few notes here and there, but she did it in a way that it wasn't like she tried and fail, but rather that she didn't go there. Dem babies came when it was their time to do their part, but they behaved nicely, thank God, Monroe is adorable with her pose, she's like a little princess and in not way a mini Mariah in terms of how she was dresses and behaves. This time around I watched without having people blocking my view or any distractions, and the woman can still put on hell of a show. Her whistles were crisp and effortless. Seeing her happy, present, and enjoying her concert made me really happy to be a fan.

Andrew, get laid as many times as you can, if you find somebody who's willing, do it quick. I think you desperately need it. Your level of bitchiness, whining and shadiness has trumped your level of reasoning. It seems you're being managed by Stella.

Sleepy stupid and maleficent (79,366)
by Edward from USA
| |
|
|
I do think that the law or rules should apply to any gender equally, regardless of what people speculate. If Mariah is accused of sexual harassment, she's presumed innocent until proven guilty. Same for the others. Alleging Mariah, Weinstein or Ratner has harassed some people should be proven regardless of what we think about it. Yes, with Weinstein and Cosby, it's pretty hard not to believe the accusations when so many women have come out, but still these claims had to be investigated and based on their modus operandi corroborated. Now, Mariah hasn't had any history of being accused of sexual harassment or being implicated in it. The fact that this man is just saying that he felt a certain way because he could see Mariah's human pacifiers through her blouse is somewhat ridiculous. It's not uncommon for bodyguards, makeup artists, organizers and the like to be around naked models and singers in the music industry, and I haven't heard anybody saying they felt harassed. I hate to say this, but what's happening to Mariah with these allegations serves her right, maybe she could stop be eternally 12, or should I say eternally stupid. She got with this Stella leech, employed her whole family, thinking she was cool and a person she could trust. She closed her ears to whatever her fans were saying from the beginning about this woman. She saw the way she operated and managed the press, she saw how Stella planted stories here and there, and then she sat down with a stupid face thinking Stella wouldn't do the same to her. Well, there you go Mariah. I don't think Mariah harassed this man at all, but this is what happens when you want to live in a bubble and not pay attention to those who care about you regarding the wolves you surround yourself with. I think these allegations are going to die down though. It's just sad that this is taking place during the holidays, when Mariah and her music are usually celebrated. I'm worried Mishka might have taken and kept pictures from when Mariah was high or drunk as a skunk which would eventually surface thanks to Stella. This woman was a snake from the beginning. And the "two people" that defended her in this board now are pretending they never liked her, such hypocrites. With Stella Mariah went from classy to trashy, but thank God she's out of the bigger picture now.

I have to agree with you. You shouldn't have been featured in any of her music without your permission. Can you please answer one question though: How did you manage to make yourself sound like a choir of goats about to be slaughtered? It's very distinctive. It's not fair that everybody around the world won't ever know you're the one making those noises in the song. I'm pretty sure she even didn't give you credit for the lyrics you "goated" in it. Keep fighting. Maybe you can allege sexual harassment too. Women are not exempt.

Merry Christmas II You (79,173)

Mariah's voice is heavenly on Merry Christmas II You. She should definitely get pregnant while in the process of recording any future albums. I've been listeining to "The First Noel/Born Is The King Interlude", there's something about it brings back happy childhood memories. Lore, I think I'm feeling the Spirit, and I'm not even religious.

How can people here regurgitate the same topic over and over when we have "The Star" and "Lil Snowman"? There are many things to talk about building up to the holidays, like how "Migrate" should've been a single or how Charmbracelet concert should've been released on DVD. By the way, on what album was "Right to Dream" released as a bonus track, Merry Christmas or Merry Christmas II You?

Mariah has a remix called "Why You Mad", you should definitely listen to it when you're having one of those bad hair day that you hate so much. You got an automatic membership into the "Delulon's Club" just by saying cattiness or bitchiness comes from somebody other than you.

Oh wow, where has this Mariah been? Such a great and straightforward interview. She was confident, not looking for words, she looked so comfortable in her own skin. Thank God those damn "dahlings" are being put to rest once and for all. Every time she said them in the past before, it was like seeing Andrew and B having a catfight with wig-snatching, finger-pointing, face-spiting and all. Good for you Mariah. I can't wait to see her at the Beacon Theater.

So much shade on this board, you two should kiss and make up. It is well known though that Mariah didn't even have sex with Nick after the marriage, she got pregnant with the twins by immaculate conception. She hasn't even had sex with Tanaka either, they sit home at night, knit and do their hair and make up.

Drew, I'm not delusional. Like most people, when pay for quality, I expect quality. Maybe I didn't make my point clear. With the concert being so well put together, entertaining and somewhat short, one leaves the venue wanting more, that's what I meant. If the concert is wack is wack not matter if it's one or two hours long. And stop being bitchy.
