Re: American Idol producers attack Mariah (74,136) (74,139) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter True, all parties were at fault, AI should have been more clear about their panel selection decisions and also they can complain all they want about Mariah or Nicki but truth remains that they leaked the footage and they used it for promotions to get ratings. This isn't new, most reality shows feed off drama, so now for them to pretend that they are innocent and didn't use it to their advantage (or that they played no part in starting it) is a blatant lie. Second, Mariah's part. I've said this before, but the first dig at Nicki was thrown by Mariah on the first episode. I don't know if they had fights prior to that, but on the first episode, Mariah walks in an throws shade at Nicki's head piece. Mariah also could have used this AI opportunity to just simply teaming up with Nicki and making a statement that she doesn't feel threatened by anyone, you know, throw in a little woman empowerment moment. Lastly Nicki, now we know Nicki is this bratty loud mouth, and I think it was very inappropriate for her to talk about shooting Mariah or hitting Mariah, it's not cool. All in all they could have just resolved this by now, by just chatting up. But oh well, but ya AI needs to focus on putting a quality show up instead of trying to drag up a 4 year old feud. Her friends, people who really care about her talk about how she's such a great friend and would do anything for her friends, so yes Mariah can have many friends without having to buy them like you said, I think the main problem here is that she needs "constant companionship" and she needs a "24/7 Yass Queen" entourage who'll praise her. It possibly comes from her childhood feelings of abandonment and not feeling special. So that's a big commitment and most people can't be expected to always surround her and shadow her everywhere, like Lee or JD or whatever, they have their own lives and careers and families and all. Heck even I don't meet my friends every day even though we live pretty close. So that's where these paid leeches get the entry. Anyways Mariah can do what she wants with her money but down the line if I hear a "The Bulochnikovs took advantage of me" interview, I'll be like "Girl, you brought it on yourself. Information is weak at this point but rumor has it that Mariah threw a fit when she discovered Stella mixing stuff in her drink *cough love potion cough* and discovered her elaborate scheme to isolate Mariah so that Stella can then step in as Mariah's new life partner. That's why she keeps Mariah booked in stuff regardless of whether it's up to Mariah's standard or not. I find it difficult to understand how someone like Mariah who has been in the business (and burned several times by people she trust including her own blood) still doesn't see how mixing her business with her personal life is only going to make things worse. I also don't get how she thinks people on her payroll can ever be true transparent friends to her. And people that still are transparent with her (like Lee who went on record to say that Mariah is too fragile to be doing a reality show and JD who said that sometimes Mariah doesn't take her career seriously, and Randy who said he told Mariah it's not a good idea to get in a reality show) get the kick (literally for Lee haha and JD was boycotted for quite a while). Do I agree that these people should have gone public to say these? No, but who knows, maybe they tried to speak to her privately and it didn't work. I mean she gets really pissed whenever anyone calls MW a reality show yet she herself said that it's not what she hoped it would be. Anyways back to her not getting what Stella is doing, for someone like Mariah, who has been played so many times, I'm surprised she's not suspicious of Stella at all even after all the huge consecutive messes that Stella pulled. ILT - WBT (74,028) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter After a long time I watched the videos of ILT and WBT back to back (I listen to both songs regularly, but haven't seen the videos in a while). Anyways, I'm blown away by how perfect the videos are. All the videos in TEOM are perfect and high budget, fit for someone like Mariah, but this "mini story line" was such a great idea. There isn't a single flaw. We have vanity shots, "touching my body" moment but they don't look unnatural or weird or vulgar in any way, in fact they blend in nicely, loved the freestyle dance moves Mariah pulled on ILT. The videos are just amazing. Man TEOM was really an era, everything was perfect. All the videos were so amazing and I loved how each was different. With "Say Something" looking having the high fashion look, SIO having the "hood-riah" moment and all that good stuff. (Wednesday 29 March 2017; 18:10)

About Brett, he has been MIA from Mariah's circle since the break up with James but it can also be because of their schedules. Mariah has been quite busy and Brett also has been busy. Rihanna, who Mariah still praises worked with Eminem too, so what's your point? I mean had Nicki gotten with Eminem on a shady track after her fight with Mariah, it would have been a different story, where it could have been made to look like Nicki is teaming up with Eminem to bash Mariah. But that's not the case, if anything it was a diss track for Li'l Kim. Mariah herself has acknowledged that she thinks Eminem is a talented guy, so it's not surprising that Nicki, who was a relatively new rapper at that time, would want to collaborate. This is in no way the same as Mariah suddenly dropping a random track with Remy (which sounds amateurish as heck production wise) during a time when this whole feud is hot news and both Mariah and Remy have history with Nicki and now they team up suddenly on this half baked song. Like they wanted to cash in on this so fast that they didn't even get the time to write a darn new song to release? Come on now. (Saturday 25 March 2017; 00:15)

Her remixes for Memoirs like "Inseparable" and "Ribbon" were cut and paste jobs but they blended in well, they added to the songs and didn't seem pointless. The remixes actually sounded like collaborations, a duet, a back and forth. This one just sounds like they abruptly stop the song mid way, Remy does her verse and then the song abruptly starts again and the verse adds nothing to the song at all. Like I said in a previous post, literally sounds like Mishka used a free online software to just put in a sound clip phoned in by Remy and then released it. (Friday 24 March 2017; 20:59)

Pre 2015 Mariah would shudder at the thought of this being passed off as a remix. Even WYM is a gem compared to this (WYM wasn't all that bad, just too many features) since at least she bothered to change things up and re-record her vocals. This is by far the most embarrassing stunt pulled by Mariah since now there is no doubt she wanted to dive into the Nicki drama. No one can tell me this was just an artistic decision, because where is the art though? (Friday 24 March 2017; 20:55)

I loved the dress too but the only problem is her Areola Grandes are on full display but she might not have known that and it could have been as a result of the bright flashes. Re: I Don't no-mix (73,900) (73,910) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter It's funny that the same fans who argue that "Mariah doesn't really care about the charts, she just releases songs as a favor for her fans" whenever a song flops are also ones that come up with excuses like "oh she didn't bother reworking the song because it would be counted as a separate song". If she doesn't care about charts then why would it stop her from creating a great remix which sounds different? At what point do the excuses stop? This message may look harsh but I only write this because I know Mariah is beyond crappy excuses and she is capable of making the best remixes. Her back catalogue speaks for itself. Some of her remixes her even better than the original versions. I'm not here for reality star Mariah Carey. I am a fan first and foremost of songstress and songwriter/producer Carey, can we get that title back when she's named in articles because now all we get is "reality star Mariah Carey spotted hanging out with blah blah".
