About Bobby A from United States: I have been a Lamb since 1990. I know Mariah. I love her music. I breathe her music.

Rarities re-release (102,141) by Bobby A from United States
It is already sold-out. Wow. MC and her team must be testing the demand for another 4LP vinyl set similar to the The Rarities. Maybe Memoirs/Angels Advocate/Jumpsmokers or Daydream/Someone's Ugly Daughter this Fall.

Rarities re-release (102,133) by Bobby A from United States
It is just a reissue with no new tracks, but at a higher price of $94.00. The original release was $55.00. I suppose that she is doing this because the original release sold out really quickly October 2020 and it is going for $100 and up on Ebay.

New Mariah BGs on Zara Larsson (102,124) by Bobby A from United States
Her last album was so good. It was more R&B than Pop. Thank you for sharing.

Memoirs is underrated (102,121) by Bobby A from United States
I just received a fan made CD of all the Memoirs Jumpsmokers remixes that I purchased off Ebay. There is not one bad track on the CD. Finally there is a 4 minutes dance version of Languishing. Randy, you would love it. It's a shame this album was never released back in 2010. Hit me up for the seller information.

Caution (102,118) by Bobby A from United States
I am just wondering what made satisfying for the Lambs and achieve critically acclaim status from critics. I look back now because I think MC created a new genre of music that I call R&B Fused Neo-Soul. I think that is what MC released to world in 2018. My only disappointment was that singles choices were out of sequence and the absurd instant grats concept. Sounds like a Jay Z idea. A No No should have been released as the official first single over With You. Can you imagine a Junior Vasquez club mix with resung vocals? How many other artists have records executives who screw up single choices? I can't think of any except MC.

Memoirs is underrated (102,114) by Bobby A from United States
I was just thinking about E=MC2. It was a total disappointment for me. It has some very weak songs that were more like album fillers. I am speaking about Cruise Control, Stay In Love, Last Kiss, OCC, Bye Bye and Love Story. Those six songs should have been left off and replaced with stronger songs. Def Jam stopped all promotion after Bye Bye stalled at #19 on the Hot 100 and MC's mind was on Nick. Danja and Scott Storch should have done more songs. One fun fact, E=MC2 had more album variations from other countries than any of MC's album releases including The Mimi E=MC2 Adventures Box.

Memoirs is underrated (102,107) by Bobby A from United States
You may be right Edward, but The-Dream was a hot songwriter from 2007-2010. He was working with every major R&B artist at the time from Rihanna to Beyonce to Ciara to Usher. MC was destined to work with The-Dream. My Love was kind of the green light from L.A. Reid to co-write and produced a full album with MC even though The-Dream pissed him off by saying in interviews that a duet was coming out in February 2009 featuring the two. That duet was My Love.

Memoirs is underrated (102,105) by Bobby A from United States
Memoirs worked because of The-Dream. It was a fun album. It was the last album that MC poured her heart and soul into. The-Dream said that MC kept him into the studio all night until 6am. One fun fact about Memoirs is that Obsessed was the only single to have an official 12 inch vinyl release.

Mark Sudak and Scram Jones (102,098) by Bobby A from United States
I have been looking through my "Mariah" book lately that I have maintained throughout the years. I have always wondered why she kept her relationship with Mark Sudak such a secret. Did he remind her that a business/personal type of relationship would never work because of her tumultuous relationship with Tommy? Did he propose to MC and she said no several times? Also during the time of recording TEOM, did MC write Your Girl about Scram Jones? MC is the only female singer that he has ever collaborated with and produced a song for. Did the two have a brief fling during the recording of TEOM? Just me thinking again during this long period between albums.

Never Forget You (102,094) by Bobby A from United States
Maybe you are right Terna. I was just having a wishful thinking moment reminscing about how I miss the MC of 1990s. I guess those days are gone because she didn't take care of her instrument.

What's in store for 2023? New album? (102,092) by Bobby A from United States
That would be the perfect time to drop a new song or two perform. She has to start singing some new songs at these special events. I hope LA Reid hooks MC up with vocal producer Kuk Harrell for her new album.

It's a wrap for you baby challenge TikTok (102,080) by Bobby A from United States
I just wish IAW could get the same radio response after all of these years as Chris Brown's Under The Influence has done from a TikTok dance video. Under The Influence is now a Top 20 Urban Hit after all of these years because of Urban radio. However, Urban radio won't do the same thing for MC because radio programmers lost interest for MC after E=MC2. It's true because she hasn't had a Urban hit since TMB. Plus, Brezzy is just hot right now because he just writes some hot Urban songs. I smell a Brezzy and MC duet this year. I know that I am going to get some backlash for thinking about that collaboration.

Just wondering about the Lambs thought if MC could sing NFY in the same key today from beginning to end. I think that she could in a relaxed setting in front Lambs.

The vocal performance award (102,066) by Bobby A from United States
I think it was because of the lack of consistency with MC's sound from 1990-1997. She started out with a pop debut album in 1990. Emotions had more of a R&B sound. Music Box went back to a pop sound. Daydream was totally a R&B album. Butterfly moved MC more into the hip hop R&B world. Do you see how the Grammys committee would be confused about MC's sound and direction?

Craving MC (102,047) by Bobby A from United States
I don't know about y'all, but I am seriously craving some new MC music. It's bad when you are buying MC promotional vinyls on Ebay. So far I have purchased some rare promos My All/Stay Awhile, DFAU -Juelz Santana Bones Thugs Harmony and TTR remixes. At this point, I would be happy for a Scott Storch X Mariah Carey EP. Now, that's a collaboration album.

Camouflage (102,039) by Bobby A from United States
I have always thought the same thing about how the breakdown of Mariah's and Nick's marriage affected her. Imagine writing a song like Love Story that came to fruition and looking so in love in the video. Then four years later being so devastated and hurt about the breakdown of your marriage, you succumb to writing Camouflage, Cry, and Faded. So sad.

Movie songs (102,034) by Bobby A from United States
I was thinking today that it is a shame that MC hasn't written and sung more songs for movies. Someone with her songwriting and singing abilities should have done about 15-20 movie songs by this stage in her career. I wonder why there has been a lack of movie song opportunities.

MC is crushing all types of records lately. Wouldn't it be nice if she released a new album this year that goes back to those soulful pop ballads of 90s?
