About Bobby A from United States: I have been a Lamb since 1990. I know Mariah. I love her music. I breathe her music.

I Don't Wanna Cry (103,565) by Bobby A from United States
I thought about this IDWC this morning. It kind of reminds me of WBT in 1990. I know MC and Narada disagreed during the recording of IDWC because MC kept adding vocals to what he thought was the final version. I would love to hear the two versions side by side one day. I am pretty sure Narada's version is the one on the album. By the way, I hope we hear Lose Control one day too.

Imperfect (103,562) by Bobby A from United States
I would love for Imperfect to remixed as a club version and brought to life by Gorgon City or Disclosure. They are known for taking a song and injecting some life into the track. I wonder if The Dream and Tricky Stewart are actually the writers on Imperfect because it does not sound like a The Dream collaboration.

#Beautiful (103,561) by Bobby A from United States
I just wonder if some of the tracks intended for The Art Of Letting Go album will be found in the vault.

Triumphant (103,560) by Bobby A from United States
I think MC envisioned the video at the same time she wrote Triumphant. The MC is like the cheerleader who cheering on two contenders in the song and video. It worked for the video, but not for radio airplay and live performances.

David Guetta and Fred Again (103,547) by Bobby A from United States
I think a David Guetta and Mariah Carey collaboration would be an instant radio hit. There is not one bad song that he's ever done for a major artist. Fred Again would be a nice collaboration too. I am hoping for more dance songs on the new album.

New album 2024 (103,538) by Bobby A from United States
Just type in Mariah's new album in the search bar and the post will come up. The comments from fans immediately put TEOM II in my mind. This dry era period reminds me of that uncertainty after CB failed on the charts and we were all waiting on MC to take us there again.

3. One Sweet Day spends 16 weeks at number #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 which had never been done before.
4. We Belong Together saved TEOM.

Happy 26th to the real magnum opus (103,515) by Bobby A from United States
Randy, your post about Butterfly brought tears to my eyes. Your comments are spot on. I remember Butterfly and how every song that year in 1997 was my life. It was the joy of Honey to the alienation in Outside that spoke about how my mother was treating me because she had a gay son. I must stop typing now to the wipe the tears from eyes. Butterfly is the real magnum opus.

Something's going on behind the scenes (103,509) by Bobby A from United States
Andrew is just messing you. I had to toughen up during MIAM era because he criticized my every post. Then I realized he just wanted my special guest star status. Lol. I am glad that Andrew is back because I am stronger and wiser now. Since he has been back, I grown to like him even more. So what I am saying is just smile and laugh about his posts on the board. He is really just a harmless sweet tiger.

Something's going on behind the scenes (103,507) by Bobby A from United States
It was only that I didn't want to ruin our MB 30 celebration and MC mania about new music since FILAC (a Christmas song). Also, I learned growing up in a small Baptist church is that you don't comment on someone's sudden weight loss. What I saw or heard at church stayed right on the pew or in the Sunday School classroom.

I noticed that two weeks ago, but didn't want to say anything. The weight loss was so sudden. I pray all is well.

Since we're wondering (103,472) by Bobby A from United States
Unfortunately, February 24, 2024 is the release date for all retailers and her store. I wouldn't be surprised if Wal-Mart and Target have on their websites this Fall for pre-order some type of exclusive colored vinyl. She did it for Mariah Carey and MTV Unplugged.

Isn't it really TEOM? WBT skyrocketed album sales to 5 million. WBT will always be her biggest radio airplay hit.

Crybaby (103,462) by Bobby A from United States
Andrew, I just want Mimi to sing and write again like she did when she took out that Casio keyboard and wrote the biggest song of her career. I know she is capable of it. I just wish Kuk Harrell would get the contract to help MC get her voice.

Ben Margulies (103,461) by Bobby A from United States
The Music Box 30th anniversary has stirred up in me a lot reminiscing about MC's remarkable career. I am wondering how a 2023 Ben Margulies collaboration would sound today. I am hoping there are some more Ben collaborations in the vault. He is in the same class of producers and songwriters that MC never worked with again after her debut - Ric Wake, Rhett Lawrence and Narada Michael Walden.

Crybaby (103,450) by Bobby A from United States
Crybaby was genius Mariah at her best. It has elements of hip hop, R&B, New Jack, and jazz all in one song. What other contemporary female artist has done that multiple times over. She doesn't receive enough credit for being a damn good songwriter. Her vocal acrobats and diva persona cause her songwriting skills to take a back seat sometimes. Timmy Gatling's creative differences with Aaron Hall of Guy brought me here because MC had the same creative differences.with Sony over Crybaby's release. It's ironic that one of the songwriters had creative differences over Piece Of Love that Crybaby samples.

Taking care of herself (103,449) by Bobby A from United States
I am predicting that MC is planning a new album in 2024. She is taking this time get her voice back to at least E=MC2 or Memoirs eras. I would be happy if she can.

AYNAF Extended Version (103,432) by Bobby A from United States
This is the gospel version that never made it on the album. This version was probably recorded first. Then one day in the studio she realized it was too gospel for the album. Tommy probably helped her decide too. Music Box the album is a very orchestrated piece of art. The mixes and song choices were carefully thought about to make a cohesive album. This is really why every song flowed into each other like a woven piece of cloth. It's not by coincidence that Music Box is her biggest selling album. Tommy was not going to let MC's third album be subjected to the criticism and low sales like Emotions.

Music Box - 30th anniversary (103,425) by Bobby A from United States
It really did feel good last week with announcement. It was a kid getting a new toy on Christmas day. MC spoiled us with a new album every two years in the 90s. We are not accustomed to long periods of time between albums.
