About Giovanni from USA: Been a fan since 2005.

Mariah and John Legend (63,608) by Giovanni from USA
Need to record a song together for her next album. They killed "With you I'm born again".

Make up (63,607) by Giovanni from USA
Mariah needs to go back to using the make up she used in 2013. She looked fresh and youthful. The stuff she uses now ages her. Especially the eye shadow.

Ariana Grande (63,606) by Giovanni from USA
[censored] Mariah wished her the best and hoped she could achieve longevity. That was more than enough. What else was she supposed to have said? "She's a great singer"? Ariana isn't even a good singer. [censored] So it's no wonder Mariah didn't praise her voice. I wouldn't have either. Mariah praises voices that are worthy of praise. For instance Beyonce. I don't like Beyonce but the woman can sing and give powerful vocals. She destroys Ariana vocally.

Re: I Don't Wanna Cry (63,561) (63,565) by Giovanni from USA
Exactly, I'm sick of Vegas lol. Mariah's getting her money but I'm also selfish and would rather her focus on making an epic album and slay everybody. I'd also be perfectly fine if that was her last album and called it quits. But I don't know if I'll ever get a chance to see her live. Going to Vegas is not a problem but I just don't like Vegas. However if she came to my city I would. On the "Adventures of Mimi" tour Mariah came to Houston but I was too young at the time. I always wished I could have gone because it's one of my favorite tours from her.

Re: I Don't Wanna Cry (63,558) (63,559) by Giovanni from USA
No way, that's enough already lol. If she extends it one more time she should just let us know she's retired and done with music. Vegas was okay for one or two times but she's extending it way too long.

If she does she'll have to simply go with her famous "I don't know her" quote haha.

Demi Lovato (63,494) by Giovanni from USA
I don't know her. And neither does Mariah. So moving on.

Re: New music (63,427) (63,429) by Giovanni from USA
You know what I thought the same thing. At first I thought we would have something by summer or by fall, but I also think that she won't release anything this year. And I agree, I'd rather her take her time to put together a great album than release something fast. Her next album can't fail. I'm also hoping she'll stop the Vegas residency and than focus on promoting her new album. She just needs to sound and look her best. I want another 2006 Grammy moment.

We definitely need to move on and leave Mariah alone (63,422) by Giovanni from USA
Nobody cares about that silly award. I'm sure when she accepted it she really didn't care. It's just another award to her collection of other better awards. As a gay man I'm not offended or disappointed in Mariah for not acknowledging the tragic event that took place. Do people actually constantly check her socia media accounts on a daily basis or what? Maybe she could have maybe sent a tweet, but for whatever reason she didn't, who cares? As someone posted, a tweet isn't going to do anything for anyone. I know if I was a friend or relative of one of the victims I could care less if Mariah sent a tweet. Why? Because she's Mariah Carey. The fact that she dedicated "One sweet day" to them was way better than some tweet. I honestly think some lambs or wolves in sheep's clothing just look for whatever reason to attack her. Like a certain somebody from the UK. You know who you are.

Re: The real Mariah Carey, gone forever? (63,378) (63,387) by Giovanni from USA
You should definitely move on. No sense in ranting and complaining about missing the Mariah from the 90's. That Mariah was gone a long time ago. I love 90's Mariah and 2016 Mariah. No matter how she is today you should be grateful she's still here with us. We've lost so many legends I could never even think what it would be like if we lost her. So you should really get over yourself. No one's forcing you to be a fan.

Give Mariah a break (63,366) by Giovanni from USA
She shouldn't be expected to tweet about every tragic event that happens in the world. And although what took place was very sad and horrible, Mariah shouldn't be looked at as a bad person just because she hasn't acknowledged it. She's always constantly being attacked for something. I honestly sometimes feel sorry for her.

"The torch carriers from Aretha and Patti"? Seriously Randy. I can't. Neither of them come even close vocally to Aretha or Patti. And why would you bring Kelly Price in the mix? She isn't a real singer or vocalist. Her cover of Shirley Murdock's "As we lay" was just awful and lackluster. Mariah didn't look like she was struggling to me. She killed both songs and got Patti to stand up. There were also others who stood up so stop exaggerating. If I could put Jennifer Hudson against Beyonce in a vocal battle, Beyonce would more and likely end up the winner. Jennifer would get worn out fast. And Fantasia against Jessie J, Jessie would slaughter her. I hope you're mad. We both have are opinions on who is a better voice or singer.

Kelly Price (63,307) by Giovanni from USA
Is a bitter, jealous woman who had no successful solo career. Her talent is minimal, so anything she has to say about Mariah is irrelevant.

I adored Selena. Not as much as Mariah but I was a fan of her music and personality. She was so sweet, humble and was a very good role model. I also loved how much she stood for education. I always think about where she would be today if she were alive. She had her whole life and career ahead of her. And it was taken by an evil, jealous obsessed person. Selena was a star and would have been a legend today. My favorite songs are "No quiero saber", "Baila esta cumbia", "La carcacha" and "Techno cumbia". I also enjoy "Que creias", "El toro relajo" and "I'm getting used to you". Love her vocals on "El toro relajo".

Randy I love you but I don't think you're giving Mariah enough credict for her live performances after '97. She gave countless amazing performances after that year. "If only you knew"/"Somewhere over the rainbow" at the Essence awards 1998. (Mariah was hitting those notes effortlessly and did that amazing translation. She also gave Patti her life that night.) "Love hanger"/"Heartbreaker" at Divas live 2000. "Vision of love" in Zurich 2003. "You and I" at BET Walk Of Fame 2003. "Vision of love" at BET Blueprint 2005. "We belong together" at BET awards 2005. "With you I'm born again" with John Legend at VH1 Save the music 2005. "I stay in love" at American music awards 2008. "Fly like a bird" at American Idol 2008. (Probably the best performance of the song. Mariah was killing those whistle notes.) "We belong together" on Good Morning America 2013. "Hero" at Human Rights Civilization Gala 2015. To name a few. Im not really impressed with Jennifer Hudson or Fantasia. Jennifer has a loud voice but I don't like her tone. She can't do riffs and runs. Fantasia is okay but her tone isn't very pleasant. I think Kristine W, Yolanda Adams, Jessie J, Joss Stone and Beyonce all crush both of them vocally. Lastly, I love Celine but her voice has changed big time. And she does lip sync a lot in Vegas. She lipped the majority of her performance at the Billboard.

Patti Labelle (63,223) by Giovanni from USA
In my opinion is the greatest female singer and vocalist of all time. She's definitely the best I have ever heard. She hit notes not even Whitney could hit and did things with her voice no other singer could do. Her power, belting, range and ability to sustain notes by far outshines any singer in history. Her voice could literally raise the dead. Just watch her "You'll never walk alone" performance at the Apollo. Also, vocal gymnastics is something not every singer has. A perfect song that showcases Patti as a great singer is "Teach me tonight" (Me gusta tu baile). Who else could sing like that or give those type of vocals. No one. Unfortunately, Patti did not have the blockbuster success other singers like Diana, Whitney, Celine or Mariah had. Which is something fans like me have to live with. However she made a name for herself as a singer and an icon. So in a way that's good enough I suppose. For me after Patti is Mariah, Whitney, Celine, Diana and Dionne.

Mariah's body (63,169) by Giovanni from USA
Looks amazing. She's lost a ton of weight and looks very fit and toned. Her barbie legs are back and look gorgeous than ever. Work it Mariah.

I love all the ensembles except for the fur and one you think is her second worst. The fur was too much and gave me a Diana Ross tease. So if she got her inspiration from her then I guess I can understand. I heard Diana is one of Mariah's "idols" yet I've never heard her praise her or even mention her. But anyways, my favorites are the one for "Touch my body" (the hair was on point) and the one for "My all". And yes, the dress that gave me the Grammys 2006 was stunning. When I saw Mariah in the robe I thought she had a boxing match with Jennifer. Because I don't see what was the point of her wearing that. Aside from the ensembles her appearance and body looks amazing.

I love your new Mariah pic. That smile of hers is timeless. Keep posting and pay no attention to Andrew. I always give your posts an extra thumbs up because you tell it like it is. Love what you bring to the messageboard.

Mariah's stylist (63,116) by Giovanni from USA
Needs to be fired. She needs someone who will dress her like the star and legend she is. She has the body but sometimes her ensembles are bad. The ones for Vegas are awful, with the exception of a few. If she wants another comeback she's going to need to look her very best. Her ensembles were on point during "The Emancipation Of Mimi" and on "American idol". She looked stunning. She's too beautiful and iconic to be looking tacky. I still love the pink ensemble she wore on "Good Morning America" in 2013. She looked like Mariah the legend, icon and diva I love.

Mariah vs Jennifer (63,115) by Giovanni from USA
I can't believe we're still on this topic. There was never a feud or competition between Mariah and Jennifer. Jennifer was just used by Tommy to try and sabotage Mariah. And of course the stolen samples. But look who had a hit album that scored two number ones and sold over 6 millon copies. Jennifer doesn't have half the talent, voice, artistry or album sales Mariah has. All she can do is dance. But in my opinion Beyonce is definitely a way better dancer. And this is coming from someone who dislikes Beyonce. I could never like Jennifer because she seems so fake and full of herself. She's had a decent career and has four medicore hits but that's it. She has never hit one note in her whole life. I think Mariah should let the past be the past and move on. Learn to forgive and be more loving. Keep working on your voice and make the best music possible so you can be successful again. In the end she will always triumph over Jennifer.

You're obviously in denial and delusional to not see Celine was definitely trying to take the spotlight and out do Aretha. When I first saw "Divas live" I said said to myself, "Sit down Celine you look like a fool." "Best believe you wouldn't have tried that with Patti." She would have shut you down easily." Haha. Mariah was the real star that shined that night. The "Make it happen" performance was amazing and probably one of the best performances of the song. She looked iconic and legendary.

Re: Parallels between MC and Riri's career (62,802) (62,818) by Giovanni from USA
"Top notch producers and songwriters"? Didn't her latest album flop? Rihanna isn't a real artist or singer. She doesn't have one iconic, legendary song in her whole entire catalog that will be remembered 20 years from now. No legacy no influence. I'm done.
