About Libra Lamb from USA:

Re: Best breakup album: Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel (100,891) (100,895) by Libra Lamb from USA
That's a great list. Pretty sure you're right. There may be another one or two out there hidden in plain sight. She fell for him. On another note, do you think I Only Wanted was about Luis Miguel? I thought I heard that somewhere, maybe the memoir audiobook?

Who do we think Mariah was singing about in Memoirs, if anyone? She was still with Nick until 2016. Memoirs deserved better. H.A.T.E.U. haunts me to this day. Candy Bling.

Against all Odds is not about Derek, it’s a cover song. Crybaby was definitely about Derek.

Rainbow is cute but Memoirs' lyrics and melodies are unmatched. Mariah was mad mad when she wrote and recorded Memoirs.

My favorite MC albums (in no particular order) (100,879) by Libra Lamb from USA
Butterfly, Glitter, Charmbracelet, Emancipation of Mimi (Deluxe), Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. The last one will always have a special place in my heart. It's pure genius, I don't care what some of y'all say on here about that one. I respect all opinions, except bashing my girl on here.

All these songs hit differently when you lose a loved one. This is Mariah's breakup album.

Re: What sank Charmbracelet? (100,844) (100,845) by Libra Lamb from USA
Damn Stacey. You're right on, again. We Belong Together was the smash of the decade because of those vocals (and relatable lyrics). I wish Mimi would do another one of those! Even if it's the only "huge vocal" song of the album, I'd buy it and support her. She just needs to focus on the music and quality. Everyone is putting out crap, but not quality. With her vocals (disagree if you want ) fire lyrics and a good producer, we could get that second comeback that not many are expecting. I love her and wish her well and happiness and health. She's like a big sister to me, in that she's shown me a lot of things about life that most people don't teach. Also the Lambily, she's freaking family at this point. I dare you to disagree!

Re: What sank Charmbracelet? (100,825) (100,835) by Libra Lamb from USA
Charmbracelet is one of my favorite MC albums. The lyrics alone are pure fire. I enjoy it immensely and it is definitely a "mood" album, puts me in all the moods, a rollercoaster. Justice for Charmbracelet!

Tell'em Terna! Y'all better recognize that man's talents. You can hate on him all you want but he is very talented and successful, with or without our girl Mimi.

Damn Stacey! I’ve always wondered what made this album so different and your description was right on point! Notice I spelled your name right this time. My name is Dago BTW!

Also, when I told you to shut up last year, it was an accident. It was meant towards he who shall not be named, I just happened to reply to your message. Huge misunderstanding Stacey.

Re: Top ten proflic song lyrics (100,751) (100,753) by Libra Lamb from USA
Thank you for explaining and I'm sorry Stacey, fellow Libra lol. That makes perfect sense and I didn't mean to spell your name wrong. I agree that we should not take everything on here so seriously. At the end of the day, it is all just an opinion from someone somewhere and we can choose to ignore if we don't like it. We're all here because we have something in common, our love for MC and her musical genius.

Re: Vocabulary (100,744) (100,748) by Libra Lamb from USA
Well, you know to Stacy we're all nameless and faceless people on the internet. That works for me too because unless I want to get to know anyone here better, you won't find my name or face. Too many trolls out there.

I do appreciate that Big Freedia's talents were put to good use at least. Love Big Freedia, MC should call him.

Re: Expectations vs reality (100,542) (100,546) by Libra Lamb from USA
I did not mean to make you feel bad. I'm sorry again. And Beyoncé's new song may have to grown on me, for now it's meh. I too am so ready for new music from our girl Mimi. I think we're all discouraged or disappointed if there's no new music, just a bunch of talk about it.

Re: Expectations vs reality (100,542) (100,543) by Libra Lamb from USA
I didn't meant to feel bad, I'm sorry. I think we have all just come to expect so much of MC that we forget that she's only human, like you and I. She just sings, writes, produces, etc much better that we can. We love you MC. I guess I will check out B's new song. If Mariah likes her, than I like her. Have a great day.

Re: Expectations vs reality (100,536) (100,541) by Libra Lamb from USA
She posted that video in support of her friend Billy Eichner and the new movie Bros. I thought it was cute and didn't see anything wrong with it. Unless I missed something. She's got my attention and many others already, with or without fun videos. Let her have fun and be silly even if it's just for "attention". Sometimes I think she can't do anything right by some of you on this board. Also, she's plugging the Rainbow album because it's Pride month. Already got my Pride merch on her website. As far as Beyoncé, I'll take y'all's word for it.

Re: Why I want another #1 (100,346) (100,347) by Libra Lamb from USA
Mimi just has to put the Diva personality aside and just be herself. She's so funny and smart, it's ridiculous. The general public doesn't get to see her silly fun side that us hard core fans get to see. She's just gotta put everything aside, focus on music and deliver a good quality album. We need another first single like Dreamlover, Fantasy, Honey, Heartbreaker, Loverboy, It's like That, Touch My Body or Obsesed. A great summer song that blends what we love most about these songs, but somehow original, like only Mimi knows how to. As long as she keeps making music, I'll keep supporting her. By the way, my favorite album is also Butterfly, duh, and my favorite song is Always Be My Baby.

Re: H.A.T.E.U. (100,193) (100,194) by Libra Lamb from USA
I love this song so much. One of my favorites too. I drove home today for about 6 hours listening to only Mariah on shuffle and "singing" along to every song. I was surprised that I knew all the lyrics for 6 hours of MC songs. The Memoirs album was played, of course. To me, in my humble opinion, that album is a masterpiece. Every song is so damn good. It does not get the love it deserves. Keep streaming Big Energy Remix guys.

Re: Mariah credited in UK and Oz (100,180) (100,187) by Libra Lamb from USA
This song is slowly climbing up several charts and growing worldwide. It's just a matter of time before it reaches the #1 spot on the BB Hot 100. We can't give up now, we all need to keep streaming the remix, she will get the credit she deserves soon. I feel this is going to be one of the hottest Summer songs. Radio needs to play the heck out of it. Call your local radio stations and ask them to play it, stream as much as possible. A new era is coming y'all.

Re: Remix (100,045) (100,065) by Libra Lamb from USA
Thank you so much Mimi L., my grandmother just turned 95 and is doing really well. And I do have a really sweet husband. I'm still enjoying this new remix more and more. it's been on non-stop since the release.

Re: Remix (100,028) (100,039) by Libra Lamb from USA
I'm really enjoying the remix too. A couple of things though. It would have been better if Mimi rapped on the song and sang a whole new verse instead of the same lyrics from 1995. I do like that "sweeeeet fantasy" a lot. I wish it was a little longer, but I get that they need to keep it cute and short for radio. I do think this song has a lot of potential and it's in the right direction of what I'm craving musically from Mimi. It's a grower for sure, I don't want y'all to think that I'm complaining lol. This morning, my husband said to me "I want you to hear something" and started playing it from our library. He was so sweet to download it and have it ready for me when I woke up this morning. He liked how excited I got over the remix announcement. Now, let's stream the hell out of it and get it to number 1! Thank you Mimi for giving us something to hold us over until the new project drops. We love you and happy belated anniversary! My grandmother shares an anniversary with Mimi.

Re: Any news (99,975) (99,980) by Libra Lamb from USA
Too girly? Lol! With Emotions, Music Box, Daydream, Butterfly, Rainbow, Glitter and Charmbracelet already in her catalogue? I don't like Eternally 12 either but a one word album name would be great, like the way she did in the 90s and most recently Caution. Icon, Aries, Melancholy (RnB/Disco throwback concept album) would be good names for her next album.

Re: Memoirs is an attempt at Butterfly II (99,956) (99,974) by Libra Lamb from USA
Memoirs is one of my favorite albums but I f do not listen to it as much lately. Every song was great and the entire album had an effortless flow to it. I wish we could get something like this again. I know it's kind of repetitive but I don't mind the finger snaps on almost every track. I'm anxiously awaiting news from Mariah on new music and new projects. I really hope that MC16 is a brand new studio album, in addition to the rumored re-release of the 25th anniversary of Butterfly. She really needs to promote the hell out of her new music if she wants any chance of getting more #1 hits. Something like 5 singles, remixes and remix videos, late night appearances and performances as well as morning tv interviews. It's a lot of work but our girl is not shy when it comes to putting in the work. Wishing lots and lots of blessings. On another note, I hope the Ukrainian people will defeat Russia and send their troops back home where they belong.
