About Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA: A Lamb

When Mariah cares (56,042) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
I am a devoted lamb. I work part time, I have several friends, and I still find time to catch up on Mariah Carey news everyday, including weekends. I don't insert myself into discussions very often, which means, my opinions are not biased. I like to have an open mind. I observe regularly the topics on MCArchives on a daily basis. I have noticed lately that Mariah has not been interested musically. I do not think it's a matter of not caring. I believe she has decided to do less music and explore other endeavers, like endorsments, touring, acting, and directing. Mariah is a strong woman and she treats her surroundings as such. You have to ask yourself, if what made her famous is no longer of interest to her, why is she still around? Especially in a time where people treat all legends like a thing of the past. My answer? She cares to build her brand not her music. She can get away with releasing crap because people still care. Ironically Madonna might sell more records but her influence of today's generation is far less. Mariah will be relevent for the next 30-50 years with Beyonces, MCs of hip hop, Taylor Swifts, Katy Perry's, Rihannas, and all of the current pop stars fans will know who Mariah Carey is for the next of decades. The best part of this is she doesn't have to release music. She is the most iconic and most talked about blueprint. She is Mariah Carey.

Vegas boxscore released / shows (55,514) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
It's official. Mariah Carey had a successful July Month in Vegas. Her shows grossed $5,300,365 and had 6 sellouts out of 9. She sold 34,499/35,846 tickets in July and is ranked 5th on Billboard. I wish they had seperated Saturday and Sunday shows because it statistically would have helped her total ticket sales. It's still great numbers and these stats show Mariah Carey's global power. Here is the Boxscore link.

I can not stand your delusion. Whenever the peace is broken, I immediately look for your posts. They are entertaining and never drama-free but annoying as hell. The webmaster even had to get you in check because of you being... um... you. Then you suddenly became nice and now we have the real Andrew back to cover his tracks. As Mariah would say, "Moments. " Your opinion is just that, an opinion and unfortunately we have to bear witness to it. I am sorry if Vegas has gone extremely well for Mariah when you said it wasn't the right thing for her. You said it would flop and it has not. Now you come back to cover your tracks but now the tracks have changed and the real lambs are heading in a different direction. Get with the times man before your train loses friction and Sam the driver begins to sleep. Sam, help us please with green eggs and ham. What did Andrew say again, Sam I am?

Hello Alexis. I can guarantee you I am black and I even have an issue with Nick Cannon. What he does in his career and how he acts in the public is great to some. To us lambs he is (was) childish, never shutted up about details of their marriage that is not for the world to hear, left Mariah when she was most vulnerable during holidays, never was around the kids as much because he was making a career off of Mariah Carey's name, he openly filed for divorce, publicly changed his tattoo, publicly was seen with various woman during the seperation proccess, and was the only one who spoke about the divorce/seperation. Nick has said it himself he can't shut up. Mariah is a private person and its unfortunate her lambs had to witness him be himself during their entire marriage when Mariah was clearly not herself because of him. So I don't care for that kind of behavior because look what the result is and look how Mariah seems to not care for a career anymore. She is now focused on her relationships and getting that fixed. When she was working all the time, she never focused too much on her relationships. She let her career do the talking. She still can and Vegas is not included when I say career. If she retires for a relationship and family, my feelings towards Nick Cannon will become hatred.

Re: iTunes chart (55,221) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
Mariah Carey is ranked #95 on worldwide iTunes. I have always wished Mariah can perform or reach the masses during her many peaks on iTunes. That would cause a boost that we have not seen in some time. It amazes me how consistent her iTunes performance shows throughout the year. Great job my fellow lambs. We are lambily.

Re: snubs by Nikki (55,146) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
Nikki I completely agree with you 100 percent. I have said the same before here and I am happy someone agrees with me. The [...] and the [...] suck. Mariah is the trailblazer for this generation. These kids buying [...] and [...] music should understand Mariah Carey is the blueprint for a pop career. R&B/Rap music would suck now if pop never existed. It sucks she receives so much criticism for being authentic. I always believed the public hates her because they cant shake her and that is why I love Mariah Carey. She cares to win [...] but her impact carries more weight than to win. She knows it too.

Thank you for the positive shout out. I don't comment much but I do come to this forum everyday and observe commentary. I am pleased by how chill it's been on here lately. I am pleased the webmaster is helping to keep it chill and he has done a great job keeping this website a fan site. On a side note I am pleased to say Mariah Carey's residency is selling out pretty darn fast for this month. Today's show is sold out and the rest are 50%-90% sold out. I don't like how Sundays' sales have been lately. These shows are selling better than her May shows. I remember tickets still being available for the first May show. This first show in July there are zero tickets available.

I never said Mariah could do no wrong. I just don't say what people are already saying. I said this before and I will say it again, I recognize respect. It doesn't sometimes show on this post by me. For that I apologize. I will say that I agree with all points made most of the time but I am not the one to agree, not to agree nor post a response. As much as I have been hard on Andrew, he actually speaks the truth most of the time. The issues I had with him were how extremely rude he came across, to me, on some of his posts. The same apeopleies to everyone else. I have an extremely high IQ in English and writing. If someone types blunt, people might take it the wrong way. Thats all I have seen here. I reacted and I was wrong. However, it still comes down to how the other side interprets the message. If the other side isn't going to say what they meant; then the arguments continue because the origional message is still misunderstood. The arguments sadly have not stopped and have escalated to namecalling because of misunderstandings. I don't usually post frequently so I will not view myself a hypocrite on name calling. On behalf of name calling, I apologize to all I offended by using the word "sissie's".

What's a lamb? (54,473) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
What saddens me is how quick Mariah Carey fans turn on her for not doing what they want her to do. If anyone should be impatient it's me. I have been following her every day for 10 years. I have seen her good and I have seen her bad. I am proud to say I have never been critical. She is like a sister to me and has gotten me through alot of pain. I had no mom, no dad, and was bullied everyday at school. Her music became an essence in my life. In 2005, she displayed confidece, something I didn't have. She showed me that when no one cares to look inside my heart and not be afraid of who I am. She gave me that fire and that confidence. Her music spoke of love and heartache. Hero got me through everything. I loved the respect she received in 2005 and she wasn't afraid to be free. I felt that when the going gets tough, Mariah made it easier for herself by continuing to fight. I have felt the last few years that she has stopped fighting because her fans are no longer there for her and the media hates her. I apologize if I come across as extremely blunt on this post but I don't want to see our legend go down because of shame. She has always appreciated her fans and talks to us as an extended family. She lets us in to her life, hoping that her fans would understand what she is going through. Collectively as a whole, I feel ashamed to call myself a lamb because Mariah is under tremendous stress and last thing she needs is her lambs saying what people already do on a daily basis.

Letter to this messageboard (54,459) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
Everyone needs to stop attacking B. I was the one who elaborated in detail what I felt she meant. I took it further by agreeing with her in much more detail. That detail has led to everyone attacking B. B kept it simple and stated how she felt (opinion) and now you want to butcher her. It's not attacking or an insult if the opposed has tendencies to overact and reciprocate insults all the time. This is not high school people. Always acting critical on an open post will never end positively if the comments are one sided and that is what I believed B meant. You're upset B called you a [...] but you are the first ones to agree with tabloids and what other non-fans believe. The critical lambs are usually the first to agree to negativity and will complain about how fat Mariah looks, her kids need help because their mother can't take care of them, Mariah Carey does drug because a unreliable tabloid says so, she needs to retire, she is a has been because everyone thinks it, she is an alcoholic because she drinks alcohol, Vegas will never work for her, her album flopped despite all albums flopping, and that she hates her lambs because she didn't sing your songs. That energy is what is irritating to the lambs that are not trying to argue or be negative. Instead of moving on, the critical lambs feel they need to throw someone under the bus and act like Jesus. However, I will always be keeping it real and will say what needs to be said. This messageboard needs level minded individuals.

Mariah Carey is still working in Paris (54,448) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
Mariah Carey just revealed on twitter that she has just finished working on a new project in Paris (I assume) and can't wait for the world to see it. She also revealed on instagram the "creative genius's" that she has been working with there, as well. On a side note, I have always noticed Mariah Carey never stops working even on her breaks. It's nice to see her still dedicated to her craft and always find ways to be paid.

B thank you for calling out the goat (54,416) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
Thank you for calling Andrew out for his bipolar mouth he always has. He always has something negative to say and will never try to be positive. I have yet, after a year of commenting on this board, hear him show compassion for Mariah Carey. I was posting here before her residency began and all he could talk about was how much her residency would not do well and how much he agreed with the tabloids. Randy and everyone else you mentioned started comnmenting out of nowhere, added fuel to the fire by abusively calling people out, and then started arguments with people who aren't negative. Then they try to avoid the issue by classifying it as constructive critism and saying they are true fans and we are too nice. Since when did having compassion mean we are too nice and not true lambs? Her true fans aren't 100% constructive all the damn time like these fools constantly act on a daily basis. It's irritating, therefore, I always pay them dust. I limit what I say to them because I don't want these sissies to feel attacked and that their feelings are hurt. If I did respond, it would become personal real quick. They would not like me if I stooped to their level so I don't. You will never see me addressing the irritants on this post but I like it when you and others do. It's fun to see the real lambs like you, Shelly, Abraham, and others keep it real and stilll find a way to see the positives in Mariah Carey.

Do you want a cookie little lamb (54,212) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
Some of you other lambs make me laugh out loud. Do you want cookies and milk with that? I can rub your back too and take your trash out. I will even cook for you everyday for the rest of my life. I am sure most of you would love a catering service too 365/7days a week. Oh darn, I just realized Mariah Carey is your obsession not mine. Now I feel bad because I am not obsessed with her personal matters all the damn time, not. I am so happy that I have a life and don't spend my day criticizing others. I loved the Mariah Carey "Infinity" video. It was simple and sweet. I am also so excited for the updated Christmas album and her new movie. What, Mariah Carey executive producing a Christmas movie is exciting and a first. She dominated Vegas and her July shows are selling better upfront than her May shows. Oh, please don't get me started on the exciting Beacon shows coming up and the surprises she has promised us lambs that can comprehend what people say. She is really trying to give her all this year, with what she has, and that has more merit than some of the idiots that flood this post. I cant believe someone tried coming after the webmaster with subjective shade and then try to apologize/recant when the webmaster responded. Like he didn't know what he meant when he was posting it. That was histerical and too funny. That's why I limit what I say on this board, the negative "things" that call themselves lambs are too sensitive. Deuces.

Mariah Carey cristism (53,883) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
I am usually not the one to give constructive critism as a lamb but I am going to point out the obvious. Ironic as it may sound, Mariah Carey set the bar extremely high for herself in the 1990s and every pop star afterwards. She popularized hiphop into pop and gave every leading MC a new platform. During the 90s hip hop was not very mainstream because of the politics and violence. Hip Hop made direct impacts in urban communities but never had crossover appeal because the leading MCs were constantly bashed for their negative impacts at the time. They wanted their voices to be heard and Mariah made it possible for them by providing a platform. Since then she has been the blueprint for todays legacy of pop. She takes pride in that and she should. However, she needs to understand that this industry has grown more young and the fans of the 90s are having less value day by day. What worked then doesn't work now. Now, she would have to do 3x the work she did in the 90s to maintain success and appeal to this younger generation. It's very unrealistic. Mariah's 45 is different from Madonna's 45. If Madonna was currently 45 and making music, she wouldn't be successful like she was in the 90s. Music doesn't sell for females in their 40s anymore like Madonna experienced. Mariah is the victim of early agism and her value is lost to this current industry she created. Lamb or not, we need to help her and realize what is realistic for her in today's music scene.

Damian Young (Damizza) (53,751) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
My message about boyish men in Mariah Carey's life still applies. However, I was pleased to learn from Damiano Youngs twitter page, "I got screwed. My apologies to Mariah Carey, that was not what the article was to be about and was not my quotes." The apology campaign begins to infinity.

Damizza (53,750) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
This man is reaching for money and fame. He used to be a well known producer. Nothing is happening for him right now so he decides to use Mariah Carey to make coins. What a delusional and jelous jerk. He is lying out of his mind and very delusional. What is with these men acting like children and trying to upgrade their lifestyles using Mariah Carey as a proxy. He is one of the many reasons why Mariah has trust issues with people. Here is what I think. Mariah attracts boys, like a picture of her on their bedroom wall. We can call her a diva but she has been called diva since day one. Men don't care about diva as much as they care about their woman's status and how sexy she is, aka Nick Cannon. These men(boys) come across to me as wanting a sugar momma and a friend with benefits. I am not just talking sex people. These men she attracts have boyish attitudes about them. When she figures their act out they get scared and start becoming yes men because they love their upgraded status so much. When she loses her sex appeal these idiots walk away and treat her like crap on the wall. It's like they get with Mariah to upgrade their boy status to a man because they're dating a woman and then leave her when their lifestyles upgrade. Basically she is used and then left behind to figure it out. Nick Cannon is a classic example of this.

Mariah Carey and Michael Strahan (53,698) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
Can someone help me out? I cant stop watching the Disney performance ending. If you look closely to the detail when she side kisses Kelly, she seemed to kiss Michael on the lips. I have watched it a dozen times to see if he could have accidently kissed her thinking it was her cheeck but I don't see how that's possible with their body angles and obvious supposed fling or Aura they have. Did anyone catch him saying, "I love you baby" after the kiss? It was lovely to see. They would make a cute couple and the chemistry they have is amazing.

#1 To Infinity is still doing well Internationally (53,657) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
I am pleased with international fans and their response to this album. Music sales might be nothing now in the USA but international countries tend to still buy albums. People or haters say Mariah is not a global artist but how can you explain this consistent effort with no promotion in these countries for almost 5 straight days. The United Kingdom and Japans' cosistency are huge for this album. She is now starting to impact European countries. Kworb album: #1 to Infinity

#1 To Infinity is doing well (53,538) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
Rise Phoenix. [...] Since 10:50AM Est., this album is exceeding my expectations. It is currently #12 (+3) on Amazon USA for CD. On iTunes USA the album is 25 (+10). The album is doing wonderful things in the UK and has risen to the Top 10 on iTunes #8 (+4). Currently, the album has made it into the top 10 in 10 countries. I am predicting over 100k first week in USA. I said it first folks.

#1 To Infinity is doing well (53,500) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
Mariah Carey is on fire. She is still rising up iTunes and Amazon. She is #19 (+10) on Amazon USA. In iTunes USA she has risen to #36 (+2) and has risen back to #12 (+3) iTunes UK. What makes this more impressive is it's the evening and she has been climbing all day. This trend is great considering Mariah usually goes top 10 in morning and then falls out by evening. She needs another OK performance tonight on Kimmel but she will go top 10 if she gives more than OK. As an artist I am sure she is fully aware of the fact she is trending and needs a great performance tonight. The public has always shown to come through for Mariah Carey when she is on point. If she does great, well, it will be #1 To Infinity.

#1 To Infinity is still rising (53,479) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
Mariah Carey should start shoving the album down people's throats by promoting this album as much as possible because the album continues to rise faster than MIAMTEC did. The album is 26 (+3) on Amazon and 38 (+10) on iTunes. It's still 14 (-2+1) in the UK iTunes. This is really a relief because Ellen and Jimmy Kimmel are still to come. Mariah is currently trending in the UK searches and I still expect her to rise in sales with the upcoming promotion later.

#1 To Infinity is doing well (53,465) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
Her album is exceeding my expectataions on both Amazon and iTunes. Since 1am #1 To Infinity has risen further. As of 8:35am Eastern, she currently sits at 29 (+21) on Amazon USA and 45 (+61) on iTunes USA. She is still doing extremely well in the UK since Saturday and has rosen to #13 (+35). Her performance, hate it or love, did wonders for her in mainstream. We still have Ellen and a performance on Jimmy Kimmel, so I expect it to rise even further.

Here is the deal on Mariah Carey right now (53,422) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
Lets keep it 100% real for one moment. Mariah Carey's album is #50 on Amazon and #57 on UK iTunes thanks to Rita Ora publicity (picture with Mariah). We have proven time and time again that Mariah's main issue with maintaining success is her disconnect with young fans and the general public. When she and the record label is 100% commited to promote her projects, the general public buys her music. Now she needs to ace the BBMA tonight and show why Mariah is often imitated but never duplicated. She needs to give that serious aura sexy phoenix free no bars attached performance. It doesn't have to be perfect but good enough to stand out because, right now, the public only knows her as a diva who can't sing. That can easily change with a good performance. They will buy her album if she sounds well and this same public will 100% buy her new album because it contains all #1s that everyone knows. Mariah is known to be a lot in the public eyes but they know her best with her mainstream material (#1s) and will buy the new album regardless of press because of the value of her music. She has no competition this week. If her performances are ripe and the dresses are not too tight, she will be alright and wouldn't need to fight to stay relevant. Let the music speak for itself. It will speak loud and I predict with promotional pushes and good performances that Mariah Carey will have her 7th #1 album this week.

The advantages to being a music veteran (53,147) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
I have had 10 years to reflect on Mariah Carey and all the veterans in every genre. Since 2006, R&B, HipHop/Pop, or crossover quality of music has been on a dramatic decline. Most veterans released their last successful albums before 2006 and I always found it ironic how bad these great artist are treated today, as lesser has-beens to new artists. Younger artist of this generation say they respect music but they never bring value that lasts anymore like the veterans have done. Can you name 15 artist that came famous from 2000-2004 with a timeless classic? I cant even name one. It is an epidemic that is only going to get worse if we don't get more MJs, Whitneys, Diddys, Madonnas, Mariahs, Beatles, or any trailblazer that has changed the game. I am scared if Mariah leaves, the balance of having a true artist will deflate and hurt this generation of music. Mainstream artists don't put their hearts into music like the veterans and unknown artist do. Therefore, musicians with intriguing sounds but no direction, YouTube sensations who become famous without putting in the work (demo tape), rich families who pay for their children with zero talent(autotune), sexual image artist with no artistic vision or sound, movie crossover soundtracks that never would of seen the light of day in 90s music scene, are hurting this generation of music. So I am happy Mariah has not given up. She is an artist who doesn't depreciate her value. She is a true definition of what an artist should be.
