About Bobby A from United States:
I have been a Lamb since 1990. I know Mariah. I love her music. I breathe her music.

I ordered mine today. You are right, Bill. Beige does look better than the honey. I don't understand why Brandy's duet is not on this collection.

I believe MC thinks of LA Reid as an executive who wants to betray her trust or sell her out to the fleas.

Yes, MC probably knows this is her last chance at crafting an album that is a platinum selling album.

You know what Matty, L.A. Reid is the reason why MC moved back to New York. She had to be close to his New York offices for L.A. Reid to work his magic. We are in for some collaborations that L.A. Reid has always wanted for MC. I will just name my top 10: Saleem Remi, Rex Rideout, Kem, Donald Lawrence, Deitrick Haddon, Ryan Tedder. J Moss, Missy Ellliot, Harmony Samuels, and of course another Babyface collaboration.

I would be okay if MC just became a studio artist. I get so excited when she releases a new album. I know that she is going to add all the vocal layering and background vocals to the highest power. I am excited about 2023 with MC, Rihanna, Dua Lipa, and Toni Braxton.

MC said on Twitter yesterday that the crowd helped to ease her nerves. She did seem nervous because of all the talking and joking around.

Randy, great review. I was just thinking after watching the performance again that MC's glory days of a performance like MTV Unplugged are gone. We will never get those days back. She is giving us her best. MC did sound better than Sza Sza [who] just can't sing at all. Usher gave the best performance of the event.

Is the full Metallica performance on YouTube? How many songs did they perform? I couldn't stay up passed midnight after waiting for MC's performance.

I loved the performance. The Honey/Heartbreaker mash-up was her best mash-up yet. We Belong Together and Hero had some great vocals. I loved the WBT intro to the remix with Jadakiss and Styles P. I can tell her voice is 80% back because she didn't say "Hey" five different times at the end of a note and plus no forced notes. Just smooth and fluid notes throughout the whole performance. I just wished MC would stop mentioning about the damn lighting with every live performance. People really don't care about how MC looks without the correct lighting. I thought she looked beautiful in every perfect way. Great job, MC.

I just saw this video of MC's rehearsals for the Global Citizen event. I predicted two out of the five songs that she will perform at the event. 1. Fantasy/BBE mash-up 2. Hero 3. Heartbreaker 4. We Belong Together 5. Obsessed

It's on the way November 1st, dhaling DK. Lol. I guess I lost my credibility when I made that MJ prediction. Were you around for that prediction? I am just having fun and I mean no harm. I have been a Lamb since 1990 when radio played every MC release.

MC's plan (101,281)
by Bobby A from United States
| |
|

I'm just thinking that MC could be planning MC16 as a album that will bring the legends and new eclectic artists and producers together on one album. She has never done anything like that before. It's going to be interesting to see what she releases next year. I am ready for something new and fresh.

Thank you for sharing, Billy. This interview is so good. It's a great time to be a Lamb right now. Good things are on the way in 2023. I wonder how MC is going to celebrate the Rainbow album's 25th anniversary in 2024. I have a few ideas.

My All (101,253)
by Bobby A from United States
| |
|
|
I listened to Butterfly last night. Mariah's tone on the Butterfly album is mesmerizing and captivating. My All came on and for the life of me I can't remember what song caused My All to only spend one week at number one. Does anyone know what song knocked My All out of the number one spot? If I am not mistaken, My All had a slow ride in the top ten before it rose to number one. By the way, this has been the best week ever on the board in a long time reminiscing about the Butterfly album. Here's to the new era that officially began on 09/16/2022. Got to capture the pre-era moments too.

I was thinking last night that Breakdown should been the follow up single to Honey and then My All. Breakdown was such a great cross between R&B and hip hop. I heard Breakdown and Butterfly both on radio station K-97 in Memphis, TN for at least 3 months. The funny thing is that they wouldn't play The Roof during that time period.

It looks like 2023 is going to have four album releases. 1. An album for a documentary or series 2. A theme album 3. Somebody's Else Daughter album 4. MC16 I just wonder if the theme album will be similar to Jasmine Sullivan's Heaux Tales or Janet Jackson's The Velvet Rope. It would be cool if the theme album was the soundtrack to a major movie in 2023. Somebody's Else Daughter will probably be released during the summer followed by MC16 in the fall. I am excited for 2023. Maybe that's the reason for the move back to New York.
