Re: Variety and lawyers (69,783) (69,795)

Mariah should make up her mind about how she got to be a judge on American Idol. First she said she consulted with Prince, and he told her she should do it, so she went with it. Now she's backpedaling saying her lawyers pushed her to sign on the dotted line so they could get a commission. You signed on the dotted line because you wanted those $20,000,000. You wanted those coins, so you should just own it regardless of how things turned out.

Andrew, MCA's devil child, are you having a blond moment? Lol. By the way, do you think that Mariah should get her nodules and polyps removed by Adele's surgeon?

Marissa, does it really surprise you? To my understanding Mariah knows what people think about her just when the noise is so loud that it pokes a hole in her bubble and she can't help it because it is everywhere, just like what happen with the Rockefeller Tree Lighting on 2014. Other than that, she really lives in her own Bubble-Land. I think it is important for her to guard herself from most tabloids and gossip sites, but you should have a sense of how people perceive you in general to balance things out.

You're so ignorant. Don't you see that Mariah's voice got stronger once she got her boobs done? Mariah has two nodules, one on the right and one on the left side of her vocal cords, the boob job was done to compensate for those. Mariah doesn't really drink, what we've seen her do is sip Pepsi in a glass.

1. When I went last year I didn't see anybody giving out presents. 2. Yes, they sell merchandise, but don't get too excited, it's not that much of a variety. 3. The theater is awesome and I could say intimate. Mariah won't feel that far from you even if you're not close to the stage. The experience is surreal because the theater is quite cozy. The production is well put together, lots of people on stage, including a bunch of kids. It's a great experience.

It could be Michael Bublé or Justin Bieber. It's too cold here in New York for Ms. Patricia's old bones to be walking around. It would be a great surprise though.

Leave her boobs alone (69,686)
by Edward from USA
| |
|
|
Everytime you guys complain about Mariah showing her boob as if they were for sale on the shelf of a supermarket you show how ignorant you really about the voice. Mariah's showing her boobs a lot because it helps her with her chest voice. The more she shows them, the higher and easier she can belt, so leave her alone. How ignorant of you for not making the connection.

Brian Tanaka and the posse (69,229)
by Edward from USA
| |
|
|
Tanaka is a dancer who's playing along with MC with their scripted plot. He's not making MC do anything she doesn't want to do. He's young, and just like MC and many other artists have done, he's using her platform to gain some notoriety along the way, there's nothing wrong with that. If Mariah likes him, so be it. If we're going to put a label on every man associated with Mariah, then we must be ready when the labels are put on her, like she's a Cougar, Control Freak, etc. I know there have been not so good people around MC, but not everybody is there to leech on her, because if they don't their jobs, like dancing their asses off, they would be fired. Do you really think that it is easy to be Mariah's boyfriend? Being her boyfriend and having less money than her, even if you're independent with a great job, automatically gets you the label of thirsty, loser, gold-digger and the list goes on. Many fans didn't care whether Mariah was happy with Nick, they saw him as this guy with less money than her taking advantage of fragile and innocent Mariah. Do you really think that when two people love each other having diarrhea of the mouth on some TV show was the demise of their marriage? I absolutely doubt it. And there, Mariah chose him to be the father of her kids. Maybe he wasn't a good husband for not being there, but not for not working his ass off to provide to his family, with the pressure on his shoulder of being with such a huge star.

And they'll linger on (69,222)
by Edward from USA

I don't think Crustella is a flop away from being fired by MC. Benny, Cindi, JD and the others had other responsibilities, some of them had managing companies with different artists to serve. Crustella is a live-in manager, meaning she's dedicated to Mariah, that's why her older daughter is everywhere MC is. Mariah Carey loves undivided attention, and this woman has made her life about Mariah in such a sycophantic way. If Mariah needs her, she doesn't have to call anywhere and wait for a meeting, she's always there a few rooms away from MC, with daughters, parents and grandparents just in case MC needs to write lyrics about the elderly. There's something demeanor that I don't really like.

Stacey, Daydream (69,182)
by Edward from USA
| |
|
|
Thanks, Stacey. Yours is nice too. I guess we're both Daydream supporters. As much as I love the rest of her extensive catalog, Daydream and Butterfly have a special place in my heart. Mariah's voice on Daydream was buttery and sultry. It was effortless, and she would transition from one note to the other as if it was that easy. Daydream is the first album I bought.

Stelle is here to stay (69,166)
by Edward from USA

Looking at how many props she gave Stella on the first episode, I can tell you Stella will be around for a long time. This woman is everything Mariah wanted, a live-in manager. And she's also serving as a road manager, a publicist and a representative. I don't think Mariah would be letting her go anytime soon.

I agree. We need an EP as soon as possible, espcecially if she's not going to release new music in 2017. She should throw in in "Kick Rocks" and "Reach for The Sky" with four other tracks and surprise everybody.

Re: Lipping and off you go (69,098) (69,116)

And everytime you come with your unfounded assumptions, you should see how delusional, confusional and ridiculous you sound. First, I did say that I don't care when she lips here and there to preserve her voice. If your reading comprensión is on point, you should've noticed that. Second, nobody was talking about nodules, I know very well what they are and could cause. Nodules could be a reason to cancel a line of concerts or not to tour a lot, but they are not a reason to half-ass performances, especially when you have had enough time to prepare for just one song. Third, you need to make up your delulu mind, is it the nodules or is it that she doesn't take care of her voice? We all know and she throws it in our faces her love for alcohol, so making her condition worse by not taking care of her voice is her choice hence her big fat fault. So before you pick and choose what you're going to comment on one of my posts, I suggest you take you "super-righteous-lamb" glasses off and read again.

Lipping and off you go (69,073)
by Edward from USA
| |
|
|
I want to make clear that I don't see anything wrong when Mariah lips a couple of songs in a concert to help her voice stay in shape for the rest of the songs. I think it's expected and fair, since she's a human being, and on a tour the voice can suffer, especially knowing that Mariah loves herself some booze. What I won't ever understand is when she has plenty of time to prepare for just one song, and then she goes and f*cks it up by lipping or giving a half-ass performance. It's only one damn song, and you're know for being one of the greatest vocalists, why don't you sing it life? At least with me the "cold", "earpiece", "lack of sleep" excuses don't work for me anymore.

If it's true, I'm glad she didn't (69,070)
by Edward from USA
| |
|
|
I'm glad Mariah didn't sing with the other divas/vocalists, we all know she didn't do it because her current voice is inconsistent and not as powerful to go against any of these younger vocalists or Patti Labelle. She saved herself and us fans from embarrassment. It's easier to dub or lip when you're the only act, but a group effort would've shown the real state of her voice. She can still pull great performances, but with the aid of backing tracks, something she wouldn't have been able to do in this case. So, I'm happy she only sung, partly sung, or lipped to AIWFCIY and went home. There's always an excuse as to why she lips, even it's one damn song, but I'm glad she didn't even try it. She's clearly not "A Diva O' the Day" anymore.

Charm-girl, I mean Licia (68,969)
by Edward from USA
| |
|
|
Charmbracelet is one of those albums that I don't think about much, but when I play it, I really enjoy it. I love "I Only Wanted" and the way Mariah fast-sing on "Clown", it's pure art. Her voice sounds like a soup you're sipping on slowly so it won't ever end. Charmbracelet is one of those albums that the older it gets, the better it sounds everytime I revisit it. Licia, after losing all your hair ending up looking like Kevin Hart, you're entitled to request the webmaster to censor any post talking bad about Charmbracelet. Only I could talk bad about, since I'm the one giving the idea, so when I don't like any of your post, I could torture you with a Charmbracelet rant. Charmbracelet is one of those albums that the older it gets, the better everytime I revisit it.

Don't you think we deserve better from her too? We, fans, have defended this woman with teeth, nails, and even with some weaves when her behavior has being worth defending. This Mariah is definitely out of control. She and Crustella are under the delusion that good ratings from Reality TV would translate into album sales. If Mariah, as you said, deserves better from us, we also deserve better from her. She's not only making herself look stupid, ridiculous and desperate, but it's also making us fans look stupid too. Where is her supposed humble demeanor she once had. Should she sing "Make It Happen", would it be believable when nowadays she's all about her diamonds, her boobs, her ass and the ridiculousness. We, with our supposed criticism, might the last remaining real fans she has, and as you could see in some posts, some have already jumped ship. If she put as much effort in her music, we would've had decent efforts with "Crapfinity" and "Infamous". She had a great opportunity with Justin Bieber and here she came with the masterpiece "Why You Mad".

by Edward from USA

As much as I can't stand Wendy, but she's spoken the truth. Mariah is a legend who's looking more and more desperate pulling shallow and ridiculous stunts left and right. Nobody believes this woman broke up with Packer a month ago and is already kissing another man with her paparazzi invited and all. She really lives in her own bubble. If only she needed the money, but she clearly doesn't. It's a sad day for me as a fan.

Has it occured to you? (68,878)
by Edward from USA

Why does any man associated with Mariah sentimentally is usually labeled by most lambs as a leech, a gold digger, somebody who is trying to take advantage of poor Mary Poppinsriah? Has it occurred to some of you that Poppinsriah is not as Poppinish as we tend to think she is. Those people around Mariah are there because she wants them to be, period. As much as I can't stand Crustella, she's there because Mariah like undivided attention, and she's getting that from her. Just like Michael and Prince, her staff will always comply with her demand however ridiculous. Mariah is nearly 50, and she clearly knows what she's doing. If you were Tanaka and on Mariah's payroll, would you tell her that you wouldn't be part of a make-believe situation that would bring them money? If Mariah wants to pay for her entourage to get on her G-4 for free, how would that constitute gold-digging or leeching? Mariah is not 12 or an idiot or a hopeless puppet, she loves attention. How about holding her and her little Umbrella accountable for the mess her career is in now? Mariah is a legend who could be doing magic with her cemented status as a legend, yet she decides to resort to smokes, mirrors, umbrellas, and stupid stunts. It's less and less about the music. If a humble woman with not too much money dates a millionaire, why should she be labeled as a gold digger, when he clearly picked her? It's the same the other way around. I'm pretty sure Tanaka is not calling Mariah to take him to Nobu, It's most likely Mariah with the great advice of Crustela, but Mariah is the one who has the last word. I'm so happy for JD to have jumped ship when he did. No manager is going to save Mariah from herself.
