About MusicfanJ from Germany: I'm a fan of Mariah since Daydream came out.

It's hard to be Mariah Carey (65,185) by MusicfanJ from Germany Today i'm listening to all her great songs. It's unbelievable how many breathtaking and powerful songs are written and produced by her. Mariah is really in her own league. If you think about how she started and what she earned. But it's sad that a lot of people just look at an outfit and don't get Mariah the musician. I really hope that will change again even if Mariah don't care what some people think. All my music teachers really appreciated Mariah. They knew why. She'll always be in my heart and I wish her true happiness. (Friday 12 August 2016; 17:31)

With her classy skirts, natural make-up and nice stilettos she always looked like the star she is. From 90 until 2000 just gorgeous. Never saw anybody more beautiful. But then came Glitter and more sexiness but still cool. Now it's just too much of everything. And the media again is making fun of the red-carpet appearance. I hate to read that almost every week. Mariah and Pavarotti (65,104) by MusicfanJ from Germany I just watched Hero with Pavarotti and I love her style and look so much there. Can you imagine she would do a duet with Josh Groban? Especially at Christmas time, I'm sure it would be magical if it's a well-produced ballad. And I still wish Mariah would make a duet with John Legend, I mean on her new cd not just live. At the beginning she was just amazing, so sweet and so unique. There was definitely magic in her eyes and her smile. Just look at her "old" interviews. That was her real character. When Mariah was shy she was the sweetest person on earth. Then she became a princess but there were never "moments" were you feel embarrassed. Maybe she got hurt so much that she started to create that Mimi-character which reminds me of a cartoon. But anyway does somebody know what happened to Camp Mariah or the Fresh Air Fund? I loved how she talked to the kids back in the day 96, she was on top with her record but seemed so normal. (Monday 8 August 2016; 20:48)

On Facebook there's a site called Mariah Classic. If you look at it you could think it's a complete different person. But I won't give up hope to see that Mariah again. My favorite one "Daydream" and "Butterfly". Love her soft curly hair and the classy style. The more natural, the more beautiful. And it makes her so much younger. (Sunday 31 July 2016; 19:44)

I have no problem with partying and drinking if there's a reason and of course private without those embarrassing photos. But as you said that doesn't look like Mariah anymore. There were always pics from parties, I remember 97 with Sean Combs and other artists. It looked more like fun. But to look at it nowadays, I don't believe for a second that Mariah is truly happy with that lifestyle. It looks completely desperate and sad. I hope she wakes up and realize that this is not healthy and most of all just cheap entertainment. (Sunday 31 July 2016; 12:43)

But this mess is not so long going on. If Mariah likes fake people I don't know. It's although hard to believe. It's just easy to hang around with fake and superficial ones. You can enjoy, party and forget the sad mood. But the awakening will cause a hangover. As somebody on the messageboard said I start to dislike Brett Ratner a lot, because he introduced Mariah to James and maybe to that circus. Or was it someone else? (Wednesday 27 July 2016; 17:04)

But for grown-ups it's really hard to watch. This is Mariah Carey not a C-Celebrity. For some reason I think Mariah looks desperate. Remember she was on top of the world with only 25. How could she be total classy with over 30 and now over 40 think that this suits her. But most of all I think Mariah needs to stop hanging out with the fake people. Party pictures on Artic P (64,698) by MusicfanJ from Germany Another week and again "party pics". Mariah used to be so private. It makes me sad to look at this. First I thought she's happy with James and that Hollywood-instagram lifestyle. But I just can't believe it. What did these people do to Mariah? I just read about the Oscars and Brett Ratner. Didn't know that. Does anyone know what's going on with Mariah's mum? Some fans were wondering why she wasn't on the walk of fame with her daughter. But I agree, she always looked so happy. Completely in love. That smile she had was everything. But with James I still don't get it. Maybe she wants to hide this time. But with Luis Miguel and Derek Jeter she was also very private. But when they were seen together or she was speaking about Luis that seemed real. There's something on James Packer I don't trust. At the beginning Mariah was just sweet, humble and a bit shy. Then she became a princess and the biggest female smash-hit superstar. Then the diva, she showed humor but was always classy. In the latest pics it's hard to recognize her. It must be the "bad" influence but I'm not sure if it's only because of her strange management. I remember an interview from 2001 where she says she's like a freaking clown. Best thing to hide insecureness with humor. But something is definitely strange since the last few months. I would be so happy to see an interview where she's just "normal". I mean without those festive moments and talks about music, projects or whatever. Mariah the real person, the musician is missed.
