About Bobby A from United States: I have been a Lamb since 1990. I know Mariah. I love her music. I breathe her music.

Re: Vinyls (99,345) (99,349) by Bobby A from United States
I read again that you have Glitter on vinyl with all the original artwork. You have something very rare in your hands, Matty. I lost a bid on one eBay copy to the highest bidder for $400.

Re: Vinyls (99,345) (99,348) by Bobby A from United States
I have all of her albums on vinyl that were made available on her store and other online retail companies in 2020. I have all of her 12 inches and promo 12 inches that were released on vinyl in the U.S. when you could go to a record shop and buy 12 inches. I was able to recently purchase the following on Ebay:
#1's
Glitter - DJ promo copy
Men In Black soundtrack - Make You Happy
Luther Vandross's Songs album
Sweetheart - 12 inch promos
Memoirs box set
Yours - remix promo vinyl
Butterfly picture disc
Daydream - Vinyl Me Please edition
Caution - picture disc from MC's store
Merry Christmas - 20th anniversary edition
Merry Christmas II You - black vinyl edition
Caution - black Vinyl edition
Obsessed remix promo vinyl

I have all of the Walmart and Target exclusives.

MC's store expectation (99,346) by Bobby A from United States
I am expecting some huge vinyl items to be dropped in MC's store this year. What if she released Someone's Ugly Daughter on vinyl and CD. What about The Rarities 2 being released. She has to make it big in 2022. What if five new versions of Butterfly songs is included with 6 new songs titled The Butterfly Lounge. MC said herself that what is coming is more than The Roof and this and that. Mary J. Blige did something similar with Mary J Blige and Friends and Reflections: A Retropective. I think that I am on to something. I know there is a love/hate relationship for me on this board, but I do think outside of the box. We should have a huge announcement sometime after Valentine's Day.

Re: Fisticuffs and #Beautiful (99,338) (99,340) by Bobby A from United States
However, the Fisticuffs didn't have any part of producing the song. The backstory is Miguel called in Mac Robinson, Brian Keith Warfield, Happy Perez and Brook "D'Leau" Davis for a songwriting session. MC and Miguel got together and he presented her with the unfinished song from the session.

Re: Mariah surprises fans (99,336) (99,337) by Bobby A from United States
Hopefully, she will make the Lambs happy. I guess she is treating the The Roof like a remix but is not saying that because of trying to keep the details of project under wraps. I know one song that she will never touch. That song is Fantasy. She still receives airplay for Fantasy.

Fisticuffs and #Beautiful (99,333) by Bobby A from United States
I did not know that these two writers known as the producer duo the Fisticuffs co-wrote #Beautiful. Brian Warfield and Mac Robinson are their names. I wonder why Miguel and MC chose Happy Perez to produce the track.

Re: Record exec - day to day management (99,327) (99,328) by Bobby A from United States
Why do I feel she was talking about me and all of my predictions at 6:50? Lol. I am pretty sure about a couple of them.

Re: Record exec - day to day management (99,321) (99,322) by Bobby A from United States
I have to agree with you that MC should go with Netflix. She needs to reach a wider audience with Butterfly Lounge. I don't think Apple could that because they don't hold the streaming market like Netflix. Plus, she is probably going to use the streaming service to promote 25th anniversary of Butterfly.

Missing You (99,318) by Bobby A from United States
Why hasn't MC covered this song? This is the perfect cover song for her to put on MC16.

Mark Sudak? Joey Arbagey? Eric Wong? This is great news.

Never Forget You (99,300) by Bobby A from United States
I was thinking about the Babyface sound today and Never Forget You came to my mind. I am just wondering could MC sing it in the same key today. She recorded it in her head voice. I think that she could do it with proper rest. Lambs, oh how I wish MC would return back to these straight forward songs with every song on MC16. She would be surprised how radio and the buying public would respond to her again. The buying public and radio really hate it when they hear her whistle notes and excessive belting in every song. They want to hear a Walter A. collaboration just like the rest of us. I often wonder how a MC/Walter collaboration would sound today. Their compositions were so recognizable back in the 90s. Just me thinking again the day after Christmas. Lol.

Re: Best video director (99,291) (99,296) by Bobby A from United States
Wow. I missed those when I scrolling on Wikipedia. Do you have all of videos on DVD?

You are right. I forgot all about Fantasy.

Best video director (99,287) by Bobby A from United States
Which director has created the best videos for MC?
1. Diane Martel
2. Joseph Kahn
3. Brett Ratner
4. Jake Nava
5. Paul Hunter
6. Sanaa Hamri
Which one is your favorite? I am on a search today on eBay to find all of MC's videos on DVD. My favorite director is Jake Nava. I love Shake It Off and Get Your Number. I think they were filmed at the same time to go with the simultaneous release of Shake It Off (U.S.) and Get Your Number (U.K.). Am I right Bill?

Re: Latest Instagram post (99,281) (99,282) by Bobby A from United States
Maybe Mariah's antics and strange behavior is her way of making like fun for Roc and Roe. She is only giving them the life she didn't have. I think the lyrics to Outside says it all for MC.

Re: Latest Instagram post (99,277) (99,278) by Bobby A from United States
MC just needs to get back into the studio and create a new album. I miss her posting pics of her studio session with so and so. I think because of Covid-19 her whole creative mojo is just off and affecting her mentally. Hopefully, she will give us some insight on her upcoming plans for 2022.

Lil Snowman (99,272) by Bobby A from United States
Nobody ever talks about this Christmas jam. I am going to start a movement to get it some huge streaming numbers on Christmas Eve. Does anyone want to help me?

Re: One billion streams (99,269) (99,271) by Bobby A from United States
And this celebratory moment is causing her Greatest Hits to be #7 on the R&B iTunes chart. People continue to be interested in her prime vocal years. If Covid-19 wasn't around now, it would be great for her to go on a 30 city unplugged tour singing and chatting about her greatest hits and rarities. I would love for her hire Marc Shaiman to help with some different arrangements of her songs. The two songs that they wrote together were the highlight of Merry Christmas II You.

Re: Sides: right vs. left (99,263) (99,265) by Bobby A from United States
She has said this statement about never being filmed on her left side like forever.

Last best TV performance (99,262) by Bobby A from United States
When was MC's last best tv performance? My roommate said 2019's iHeart Music performance. I told him that it was 2019's The Distance performance on The Jimmy Kimmel Show. The Distance performance was all live. She was confident and sounded good. The iHeart Music performance was not good because it was totally lipped in some parts.

Re: The Butterfly Lounge: the Atlanta sessions (99,127) (99,259) by Bobby A from United States
It was reported on Twitter today that MC confirmed her recording session with Brandy. I am predicting that Butterfly will get released this coming Spring with 5 newly recorded collaborations of Vision of Love with The Clark Sisters, The Roof with Brandy, Babydoll - Timbaland remix, Whenever You Call ft. Maxwell and Outside ft. Tamar Braxton.

Re: Where Are You Christmas? (99,253) (99,254) by Bobby A from United States
There had have been a working tape or demo that guided Faith Hill to sing like MC. I think MC is fooling us about there not being a demo. She co-writes this song with two iconic songwriters and musicians and she doesn't lay down some vocals to their piano playing. I think not.

Most iconic album (99,252) by Bobby A from United States
Butterfly has to be MC's most iconic album, right? We lived for her transformation from a caged pop ballad diva to a R&B hip hop flavored diva. The television performances from the album were so heartfelt and iconic. And talk about the videos from this album, they will be her best videos ever. Daydream has to be right behind Butterfly.

Re: Where Are You Christmas? (98,970) (99,243) by Bobby A from United States
I listened to this song all the way through for the first time. Faith Hill really sung it like Mariah's demo. She captured MC's vocal style from beginning to end. I hope we get the demo next Christmas. It doesn't get very much airplay during the holiday season. WAYC will be 22 years old next year.
