About Bobby A from United States: I have been a Lamb since 1990. I know Mariah. I love her music. I breathe her music.

GMA (94,955) by Bobby A from United States
Is MC's performance and big announcement on GMA tomorrow?

Re: Rumor (94,907) (94,909) by Bobby A from United States
Well, MC owes us an album this year. She has been in the studio in her Tribeca apartment all year. Jermaine and Johnta were called in this month. She is about drop it like it is hot in September. Lol.

And You Don't Remember (94,897) by Bobby A from United States
Nobody ever talks about this song. I have a true story when Emotions dropped that year in 1992. When I first heard AYDR, it reminded me that I needed to break free from someone who told me sweet things to only get me in his pocket to take him to work everyday. I was a young naive 19 year old who fell for him after he slipped me his number at the local Pop Tunes record shop. The lyrics really hit home with me just by MC's short but hard hitting lines. When she said "Foolishly", I felt the song so much. I realized he was using me big time. So that's my AYDR story. Does anyone else have a MC song story?

Re: Triumphant (94,847) (94,850) by Bobby A from United States
Thank you for bringing this to my attention, Andrew. I will carry on just like I have since 2003. MC16 is coming soon and I have all the haves and have nots of what it could be in my little lavender journal.

Why do my posts upset you so? You must have a thing for me. Why you so obsessed with me? Boy, I wanna know? Lol.

Re: Dreamteam (94,807) (94,828) by Bobby A from United States
So, MC is back in the studio with JD. I think it is a good idea for her to rekindled that WBT magic with JD and Johnta. We are long overdue for a WBT follow-up. She did it with The Roof and Lullaby. DFAU was not a true follow-up to WBT nor was ISIL. I hope she keeps working on the new album through April of next year. I want her to get it right with the best follow-up to Caution.

Re: Triumphant (94,826) (94,827) by Bobby A from United States
You all have forgotten who MC wrote Triumphant for. Remember she wrote it for Nick when he got really sick and found out he had an auto-immune deficiency disease. So, Triumphant was the song MC never really saw as having a potential to be a hit song but her way of supporting her husband during his illness.

Re: MC30 wants (94,732) (94,740) by Bobby A from United States
If MC worked with The Runners like I heard she did during the TEOM recording sessions, I would love to hear those tracks along with the finished version of When I Feel Need.

Charmbracelet (94,739) by Bobby A from United States
I shop at a lot of used CD stores. [Charmbracelet] is the only CD that I never see in bin. I guess that means that people are holding on to [Charmbracelet] than any other Mariah Carey CD. Is it still MC's 3rd lowest selling album behind MIAM and Caution?

Re: From the vaults (94,721) (94,722) by Bobby A from United States
Gee Whiz Karen. Is that the best you can say? You criticize everybody for their comments and predictions. And you don't think your harsh and critical rhetoric isn't starting to bore us to death. Your eight month sabbatical in 2018 was refreshing to us all who held down the forum while you got yourself together. However, I see you haven't turned from your mean and critical ways. Bullies in the schoolyard when they fall they fall hard.

Could we get something from Emotions next Friday?

Re: From the vaults (94,704) (94,708) by Bobby A from United States
All In Your Mind is just breathtaking. I love that rasp in her voice that MC fixed for the album. Lol. Keep them coming MC. I ain't thinking about Folklore right now.

Re: New book (94,674) (94,677) by Bobby A from United States
We already know what it is. He should go write another song for his next album and don't worry about it.

MIAM (94,669) by Bobby A from United States
Today is going to be a MIAM day. I remember it coming out and I was playing all day that hot summer in Nashville 2014. To me MIAM is Mariah's most technical album in terms of how she uses her voice throughout the album. Heavenly shows that MC is one of the greatest vocalist ever. To me, Caution lacked those technical vocals. I hope her next album returns her to the Butterfly/Daydream eras.

48th Grammys performance (94,652) by Bobby A from United States
Was MC's performance of We Belong Together/Fly Like A Bird at the 48th Grammys Awards the last time she sang those high notes and belted with such confident? I can't think another performance where she showed so much confident with her performance. And when I listen to Karen Clark-Sheard, I wonder why after 40 years she still has the same vocal abilities that she had when she was in her 20's.

Nick (94,643) by Bobby A from United States
Nick has apologized for what he said. He has lost a lot in the past four days. He posted on Twitter that his community is calling him a sell-out for apologizing. Also, he posted some concerning cryptic messages about his current mental health. He is a human being who made a mistake. He is a father to 4 beautiful children. I wish the media and other critics would leave him alone. Pray for Nick.

Re: MC30 every Friday (94,603) (94,606) by Bobby A from United States
That's right Bill. You pointed out that So Blessed, Can't Let Go and Can You Hear Me? were all seen in her Twitter video. It doesn't make sense now to me to just release a remastered version of Mariah Carey to celebrate her 30 years in the business. I really feel MC30 is going to remind of why she is the Songbird Supreme. Let's hope we get some new songs too.

Re: MC30 every Friday (94,601) (94,605) by Bobby A from United States
I am sure you want [to] know how I came to this conclusion. I will elaborate later today. Keep your eyes peel.

Re: MC30 every Friday (94,597) (94,599) by Bobby A from United States
I think I have figured the MC30 mystery out. What is Mariah Carey known for? Yes, her ballads. So, I feel we are getting another Ballads Collection from her first 3 albums with demo tracks and leftover tracks from those albums to celebrate her 30 years in the business.

MC30 every Friday (94,589) by Bobby A from United States
What is going on with MC talking about MC30 every Friday. I am just shook. Are we finally going to get Mariah Carey remastered on CD and vinyl with those demo tracks? Are we going to finally get all of MC's videos on DVD? I know she has something special for the Lambily.

Song of the summer (94,588) by Bobby A from United States
Where is the song of the summer? By now, would already have had some contenders. I think because of COVID-19, nobody is talking about it. Albums that were going to be released for the fall, probably won't happened at all this year. Sam Smith and Adele have both pushed back their albums until next year. Who knows when Rihanna will release R9? So, this fall may be the perfect time for MC to drop the perfect single. The perfect single would be something reminisce of Mariah Carey that made us become fans in the first place. I would love for her to record an acoustic version on Love Takes Time produced by Ryan Tedder to coincide with the release of The Meaning Of Mariah Carey. Can you imagine the first note - "I had it all but I let it slip away" sung in her current voice? I tear up thinking about it.

Re: New album (94,574) (94,587) by Bobby A from United States
Yes, Randy I feel an album is coming this Fall. I think I have finally figured out who the male is that MC referred to last year. It is Maxwell. Remember, they were on a yacht Labor Day with Trey singing Prince's When You Mine. He lives in NYC. So coming to MC's Tribeca apartment would be convenient. Wouldn't it be sweet if we got a couple of tracks produced by Maxwell, Hod David and Stuart Matthewman. MC meets Maxwell and Sade all in one track. I really feel she is more focus than ever to give Lambs something new and fresh. Whatever new album we receive from MC, I would be happy to add it to my collection.

Re: Hopes for the memoir (94,554) (94,562) by Bobby A from United States
Bill, you did an excellent job writing this message. I feel you touched on all of the key topics that MC probably discussed in her memoir. Only time will tell. Maybe we have a chapter by chapter discussion during the first two weeks of its release.
