Mariah Carey Australia (47,982) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
Look at this. I saw it yesterday on her Australian facebook page. "Amazing news. Mariah Carey's digital sales increased by over 800% during her Australian tour. The following titles charted at iTunes Australia on either the main, Pop or R&B chart." There are too many to list and not enough room. Just thought the forum should know.

I pretty sure I know what allotment sold means. I still need clarification. On mariahcarey.com/tour, all 4 shows say allotment sold. Does that mean all shows sold out?

I reread your message and all I did was repeat it. My apologies. However I don't think fans have left. They just didn't know. Not every fan keeps updated on a daily basis.

Many of Mariah Carey's fanbase didn't leave. I could reference many Tv show host that asked the audiences if they knew of the album release. Wendy Williams and The Talk are a few. It was unanimous from the beginning that all of them said no. If Mariah doesn't promote or the label doesn't promote, the people won't respond. I remember during the release of MOAIA and MCIIY, Mariah had radio banners on her website for fans to put on social media because people were not getting the word of new music on radio from her. Honestly I feel for most lambs on her direction. Good news for all of us is Mariah still sells with proper promotion. All she needs is a new label. I am very confident she will not sign back with Def Jam. I wouldn't. Given the current state of music industry Mariah has still sold 28,000,000 albums and 15,000,000 singles worldwide with Island plus Def Jam (excluding her back catalouge) for 6 albums.

Baby (47,738) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
Yeah. I am 50/50 on your concept of Mariah working with people she has feuded with to promote her Christmas music or boost her reputation. It shows your thinking. However I don't see her working with easily 90% of the people you mentioned. Wendy is a hypocrite who has never had Mariah on her show. Mariah went to all the other talk shows but Wendy. I think Wendy is just bitter for that reason. As far as Walter, Tommy, and Nick definitely not. Maybe Walter. He seems open to work with her. We should remember, Mariah is in control of her career. Rightfully she's earned it but her relationship with these people have been altered. Usually clashes of egoes and music competiveness with Mariah usually winning is why. She wins because she very rarely walks past someone and turns back to see what they are thinking or saying. She never reads tabloids and she knows who to talk to and who not. She owns her reputation. She continues walking to the next destination without being bothered. It's like she is on a different playing field. I like it but people become envious of her reputation and untouched ego so I see what you mean Baby.

Press release from 2015 Jamaican Jazz Festival (47,707) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
Global superstar Mariah Carey has been confirmed as the headline act for the 19th annual Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival next January. Carey, regarded as the best-selling female artiste of all time, will be making her first-ever appearance in the Caribbean, and her signing is being seen as a major triumph for the world-renowned festival, scheduled for January 29 - 31 at the Trelawny Multi-purpose Stadium on Jamaica's north coast. "Welcoming Mariah Carey to Jamaica's shores is truly exciting and we are extremely pleased to announce this iconic star as our headline act for 2015, " festival producer Walter Elmore said yesterday. "Her agreeing to perform on our stage is a testament to the quality of our production. We are the only festival in the Western Hemisphere to present Mariah Carey since her last tour 2006.

Tour money (47,624) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
A part of me is wondering how much Mariah is earning per show. I know she was paid $900,000USD for her Tapei Concert of 13,000 fans. For her bigger venues I have estimated 1,250,000 to 1,500,000 per show. Smaller venues I am thinking 750,000-1,000,000 per show. What do you think?

Mariah's terrible gig at Workers' Stadium? Wrong (47,467) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
The official press release after the show said the show sold out to 38,000 fans. The report on MCArchives is not credible. The press in China is ran by the council. I will choose to believe the press anyday. I don't understand that I can't write a letter to the editor of this bad publishing. I am surprised Mariah Archives posted it with the other one posted earlier today saying Mariah's career is over and that her last multiplatinum hit was early 2000s. Lies. I have read all press releases that are made on mariahdaily.com or seperate website claiming she had sold out of 4 of 5. The 1 out of fifth is Yokohama, Japan and don't know details yet. Fans do you concur?

Abraham and LC, MimiLamb? (47,440) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
Abraham. Thank you. I completely agree with you and LC. I think a rerelease with promotion is what Mariah really needs. I was researching a Mariah post and something caught my interest. As stated and from what we know Beyonce's music career was declining before Beyonce decided to begin her Mrs. Carter world tour in fall of 2013. While touring Beyonce then released her record setting album Beyonce in December of 2013. The editor of the article was comparing Beyonce's tour hype and how that impacted her sales success. The editor thinks Mariah realized the only way to promote her music is by touring. I don't think it's the only way but it seems most realistic for her at this time. It's a smart sales tactic. A re release makes perfect sense. I made a mistake on mispelling a name earlier on this post. I said mimilanb, I meant MimiL. Sorry.

Prayer and Mariah (47,424) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
I am done with the perception or backlash I am getting. I have decided to no longer respond to certain fans on this post. I will speak to people that will not bash or question my character. I will only speak to those with great opinions. LC, thank you for your support of Mariah and valid opinions that make sense. You are a true fan. Keep those facts coming Abraham, you seem cool, calm, and collected. Your support is honest and great. Thank you for your great posts. Mimilamb, your desire to speak truth and encouragement is very enouraging. You're awesome in your defending Mariah all the time. Keep us updated as your great at it. Edward, thank you so much for setting expectations on this post. You are posting veteran on this site. You preach respect and respect others opinions. As hard the latter may be you always know what to say. All others fans keep up the suppport.

I am religious. I commit to church every week. I go to men's meetings through church every week. I volunteer any chance I get. I pray all the time and I happen to understand the meaning of prayer. I wasn't saying we shouldn't pray or that we shouldn't love. I don't think you caught in my text that I was going to pray for her in a different way. We should consider how we pray and not pray on speculation. Speculation to me does not make me believe something is happening to her. I choose to wait for her to make a statement. That doesn't mean I will not pray or tell people to stop praying. That would be wrong in God's eyes and I wouldn't do that. So please take a couple of seats.

Is it just me or does it seem this website is turning into a website for complaints? I have visited the website everyday for the past 2-3 years and people didnt seem as convicted to impose themselves. All of a sudden fans want to react over Mariah not singing very well. Then we go and cite publications on this forum, as if to say we agree but then turn around and claim you love Mariah from 1990s. It is now the 2010s and if you are not happy go to TGJ. One complaint from the same people on the same issue is enough. So please stop trying to impose/argue with other fans over and over again. It's becoming repetitive. Someone said last week they believed Mariah looks at this website. I extremely doubt that. I didn't join to see someone post videos from 2012 to make it seem Mariah has lost her touch. Now we are using the term praying for her. Oh my gosh. What happened to remit prayer? Are we praying on speculation of divorce? Last time I checked Mariah hasn't officially spoken out. So therefore, I will pray for the kids and family to stay together without seperating. I will remain optimistic as fans should be that Mariah's been in the industry long enough with much success to give us more hits.

Mariah was never gone, she never left (47,386) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
To all the loyal fans on this post, can you explain this? Mariah Carey worldwide iTunes performance, last update: 2014-10-11 20:50:05 EDT, Brunei Darussalam (36). Songs:
70. One Sweet Day 77. Always Be My Baby 78. We Belong Together 87. My All 97. Hero 98. Emotions 103. Breakdown 104. Touch My Body 105. Honey 106. Dreamlover 107. Love Takes Time 118. Supernatural 119. Thirsty 120. #Beautiful 135. The Roof 136. Fantasy 140. Breakdown 150. Rainbow 151. Petals 152. I'm That Chick 154. Babydoll 155. Heartbreaker 156. I Still Believe 157. I Know What You Want
Albums:
58. Mariah Carey: Greatest Hits 84. #1's 104. Against All Odds - EP
Mariah is also appearing in 37 more countries for her songs and albums and is ranked 176 on the worldwide chart. I feel content to say Mariah is not retiring. She is charting more now then when she released her album this year. I have said all along that despite certain fans critism, Mariah will sellout or close sellout her venues and spark interest in her music. It's finally working.

Adam, Marcus, Mariah Carey? (47,327) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
Wow I never thought I would see the day of very opiniated people. Just kidding. I will drink to that. It amazes me that people expect an artist of 24 years with an extensive catalouge to sing what fans didn't ask for during that specific show. It's called Mariah knows that she can't please everyone so she asks the fans to request songs you may not like. Marcus if you thoroughly checked her facebook or her Asia twitter page you might have understood that she performed songs via fan request. It bothers me also that we are clearly not on the Asia continent and we are speculating without proof. I have seen like every website review released of her tour and it seems that Adam is quoting a lot of what they are saying. Nothing wrong with that if you were at the concert to verify. Relying on footage of 1 or 2 bad songs out of the bunch is a bit overeacting. Relying on news sources that edit with make belief to make a buck with no reliable sources is disturbing as fan. Some people, fan or not, are hurting Mariah's career with these lies that cant be verified. The newer generation believes anything. I have never seen so many people complaining in my life about 1 person especially when the facts are tainted.

Lamb or fan? (47,242) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
I am a true lamb. Since 2005 there is not one day I don't keep updated. On a typical day I research Mariah Carey news, videos, music, and personal life over 20 times on average. I love her for her music and the fact I can relate specificately to hatsh upbringings. She was my friend I never had during that period of my life. I was bullied at school everyday to where education seemed extremely difficult and my family was a neglectful during that time. My only outlet with no friends was discovering that music even existed. I was 13 with no understanding of singers and basically no life. Mariah introduced me to music in singing form with her The Emancipation Of Mimi album. Masterclass album with a classy lady who overcame the stereotype of glitter. People said her career is over. She proved everyone wrong. She proved to a struggling 13 year old boy that there is always hope. I learned more from her than my family or school. So I appreciate everyone's concern but it only saddens me to see the loss of respect amongst certain fans. If you were in her shoes, what would you do? Would you work or would you stress about what everyone is saying and become depressed, eventually breakdown. Me, I prefer her to continue working without acknowledging certain concerns we all know she will fix on her own. She is continuing to prove the skeptors wrong and she continues to give me hope.

Mariah makes me happy (47,117) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
I am a true lamb that is so stoked on Mariah Carey that I could be her publicist. Lol. I think her tour setlist is great considering she's performing in much larger stadiums in Asia. People don't pay over $200 to hear 10 songs. I also like that she seems authentic and not divaish this time. We have not heard of her being hours late as we are used to expecting, which is an A+++. She seems very focused. I have been to her twitter and facebook. People who live in those countries are saying she sounded great and there are no negative comments I have seen on her pages. I only see negative comments on public forums and limited tabloids. Less tabloids the better. I always find it interesting that tabloids become hush hush about Mariah when positive things are going her way. I am genuially happy she is single and free. She seems less stressed and more happy. Go Mariah. Hip hip hooray.

My name is Travon Austin. I was born in Indiana. I am 22 years old. I do not enjoy dress ups, makeup, and I am not gay. I am actually a very nice person. As a human being I acknowledge differences of opinion. I expect opinions to be from the heart and not judged on everyone else. I am new to this post but have visited this website since I was a teenager. I do not appreciate being in the same class as those who judge and are rude to others. If I was rude, I apopogize, however I expect the same courtesy and respect. Thank you.

Thank you. I completely agree. Continue to preach the truth to certain so called lambs that are starting to act the same as non fans. All we can do is wait for her North American leg tour. Tours can do great things for singers. I was checking through ticket master for her Australian dates and Asia dates of her tour to get a sense of her selling out. I can confirm that all of her austrailian shows are 95% sold out based on ticket availability. Most of Asia is sold out as well. 4 shows in Asia are no longer offering tickets as they have all sold. Also most of the Vip packages are taken as well. Mariah just needs to deliver. Does anyone think this tour will help or hurt her? How and why?
