Travon / Stacey (47,039) by Abraham from USA
Travon, you don't owe anyone [...] an apology. [...] I for one like you and enjoy your commentary. Stacey, girl have a seat. Travon referenced you because of what you posted. "There will always be people who need their 15 seconds of fame no matter how foolish it makes them look." Who were you referring to? He assumed you were talking about him. Is being a fan longer than someone supposed to count for something. You came off rude in your post. So why don't you take your own advice and back it up a bit.

Divas live (47,025) by Abraham from USA
Does anybody else enjoy watching "Divas Live" as much as I do? Course my favorite part is Mariah. She slayed with "My all" and "Make it happen". Her voice was fierce that night. And she looked amazing. No shade or disrespect, but I saw no reason why Carole and Gloria were there. I like Shania, but meh. It would have been something if Barbra, Patti and Whitney had been there instead of them. As they are the true divas. It would be cool if there would be some kind of special that honors Mariah. And have a couple of artists sing for her. Like Leona Lewis, Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Lady Gaga, Adele. And hell, even Beyonce. I think that would be good for something in the future. I'm hoping the tour gets Mariah's voice in a good place to the point she won't have to lip sync any more.

Travon / Marissa (47,013) by Abraham from USA
Travon your posts give me life. I like what you are bringing to the messageboard. And the read you're giving Edward, too funny. Marissa, don't let that one person or any person who says anything negative about Mariah get to you. It's that not serious. Obviously that guy is just a jerk. But at the end of the day, how many number ones does his favorites have?To me, 18 is more than enough. And something that is quite an accomplishment. I'm proud of her. She would have more with "I still believe" and "Beautiful". I have a feeling next year will be her year. She just needs that one song that will get people's attention, and then go from there. I'm hoping that she will release another "TEOM". Her career is far from over. I bet you anything that with the next album, Mariah will get her 19th number one.

Shelly (46,950) by Abraham from USA
Hi Shelly, nice seeing you post. How are you? Glad you like "TAOLG" as well. I think everything about the song is perfect. When I saw the tracklist to the album I was disappointed that it wasn't on the standard version And wondered why it wasn't on there as well. I bought the deluxe simply for the song. I'm also disappointed that there weren't any new tracks for it, which tells me Mariah probably more and likely saved the remaining songs she has for the next album. Hopefully? But I still think she could have still added something other than 2 tracks from the last album. Still, I think "MIAM" is one of her best. It's not bad at all.

Thanks / thoughts (46,940) by Abraham from USA
Thanks to all of you who responded to my question regarding "TAOLG". Ryan, Yuan, Xaiver. Especially you Willyc95, for posting those videos. That was nice of you, I really appreciated that. Mimi L. and Nikki I agree. And feel the same way about the song. I love it. I can repeat it non stop. Tarraga, your post literally made me laugh. I don't really have any problems with Edward. I sometimes enjoy his posts. Stephen on the other hand, not so much. Like you stated, everyone has the right to post whatever they want. I for one have never been bored with anyone's posts. I like finding out other fan's favorite songs or opinions of Mariah. I love this messageboard. I wouldn't have known the release date for Mariah's album. At the end of the day, I love all lambs. But only the ones who respect and support Mariah. The ones who put her down or disrespect her are not fans.

The art of letting go (46,919) by Abraham from USA
I wonder if Mariah is going to be singing the song on her tour? I would love it if she did. I don't think she's ever sang it live. Correct me if I'm wrong? I don't know why some people don't like it, or think her voice sounds "dry" or "ugly". That's not true at all. I for one love the song and think she sounds amazing. It's one of my favorites. Too bad there was no video. Also, anyone else wonder what is Mariah's favorite song from "MIAM"? If I had to guess, I'd go with "Cry" or "Heavenly".

Mimi L. (46,918) by Abraham from USA
As far as I'm concerned, there were never any rumors of Dwanye and Mariah dating. They never were seen together again after the "Hercules" premiere. Although some of things you posted about Dwanye are true. You can't speak for everyone. And I have nothing personal against him. I can tell he's a good man with a good heart, but I just couldn't see him with Mariah. He has someone anyways. And I stand by what I posted. Wanting a new relationship should be the furthest thing on her mind as of now. Not only is it "too soon". She has more important things she should be focusing on. If she was retired, it'd be a different story. But she's not. She needs to worry about getting her voice back in shape. And as good and strong as she possibly can. She's touring so people are going to be expecting to hear her not only sing live, but good. At least I would. I know if I was a music legend like Mariah and my career went down, I was having issues with my voice and got a divorce. Wanting a new relationship would be the last thing on my mind. I'd be focused on working on my voice, music and being more successful. I hope I don't sound like a jerk or rude, because some should more and less know by my posts that I loveMariah. I just want to see her achieve a little more.

Dwanye / thoughts (46,899) by Abraham from USA
I say no, he's not all that. And when was the last good movie he made? Mariah deserves better. I'd rather see her stay with Nick. Some people think that muscles are everything, but they're not. I think someone who has it all and that would be good for Mariah would be Shemar Moore. But I'm sure he's taken. He's definitely better than Dwanye. I hope Mariah finds love again. But not right now, that should be the last thing on her mind. She needs to worry about her voice and career. Be more successful, than land a man.

Wendy (46,885) by Abraham from USA
Her rants and put downs on Mariah will no longer bother me. What was once shade has now turned to jealous, hate and trash talking. Wendy needs to get a life. She needs to get it through her big head that Mariah doesn't care for her. She will never be her friend or come on her show. I've never seen a person so pressed and bothered. It's getting kind of scary. Wendy said that she has a story about Mariah that will make people disgusted. Really, I can't wait to hear it. My friend told me everything. Anyways, Mariah is looking great and happy. That's how I want to see her. I hope everything goes good with the touring. And hope she gets more inspired than ever to write some good music. She's only 44, she can still make hits. There is no one who can compete with her. If she works on her voice, image and music. She'll be back on top with more success. Give Wendall really something to talk about.

Lee / Travon (46,856) by Abraham from USA
I for one think it's ridiculous comparing Ariana to Mariah. Ariana's voice is nothing special. She may sing better than other female artists as of now, but even on her best day, will never touch Mariah. Especially in her prime. Mariah has a beautiful one of a kind voice. And even if some say it isn't what it used to be, I don't care. She still sounds amazing. I see Ariana as a copy cat and wanna be. She's also showing her true colors as a brat and acting snotty. Throwing fits and making demands at such a young age, not good. She's not a diva. Mariah earns the right to be a diva because she worked her butt off. I don't blame her for being offended at the comparisons. I would be too. Travon, several of us have already expressed are thoughts and opinions on Wendy. There isn't really much to say about her. She's a snake who's mad because Mariah doesn't want to be her friend and come on her show. I used to watch her once in awhile but saw how she would shade and speak of Mariah, so I was done. Why would I watch and give ratings to someone who disses one of all time favorite music artists?

B / Adam (46,823) by Abraham from USA
Thank you B, likewise. I've always enjoyed your posts as well. You always have nothing but nice things to say about Mariah. I'm also glad you love the album as much as I do. Adam you're right. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But it's one thing to express an opinion on someone. But doing it in a rude, harsh and mean way is completely different and uncalled for. Someone of things Wendy said are true. But she could have said it in a more nice and respectable manner. Especially for someone who is a "so called" fan, or admires Mariah. She's always kicking Mariah when she's going through a difficult time. I stand by what I posted. Wendy is just mad and pressed that Mariah won't acknowledge her and come on her show. How can you say we are being mean and negative when Wendy was being that way to Mariah? Get over it. At the end of the end of the day, who do you love and side with the most? A music legend who has recorded and given the world timeless music or a tv talk host who gossips and trash talks? I for one find Edward's post funny. Many people have been questioning Wendy's gender since the first time she was seen.

Wendy Williams (46,800) by Abraham from USA
Wendy couldn't wait to talk about Mariah and her divorce. She was very rude and snotty how she spoke of Mariah. It was so necessary when she brought up the TRL incident. She called "MIAM" a flop (which is true, but there is a more respectful way on how to say it). She shaded Mariah on her age with Kim K. (who is no one) drinking and how much Mariah is worth. The idiot said $300 million. Which is wrong. It's $500 million. Then she tried to be funny and make a smart remark on the kids. Really?Funny how she's all for JLo. She praises her because she went on her show. And now she kisses her ass. "AKA" and "Paula" flopped worse than "MIAM". JLo may be "out on the scene" but it's not really doing anything. All her singles didn't even make the top 20 on Billboard. At the end of the day, I'm sure Mariah could care less on what Wendy or any other negative talk host has to say or thinks about her. Mariah sits on millions as a music legend. She has her two kids which is all she cares about. I'm so sick of people calling her fat, old, a flop and knocking her down. Wendy proves again and again her envy and jealously for Mariah. She needs to get over it and realize Mariah doesn't want to be her friend and acknowledge her existence.

Nick (46,785) by Abraham from USA
What a cute pic. But does anyone really think Nick has a chance of getting full custody of the kids? Nick needs to have a seat. Why would he want full custody if he would never be home to be with them. Going to court with Mariah Carey is like going to court with Donald Trump. He has no chance. I mean, isn't he busy with his new, *young* girlfriend?

May / Billy (46,782) by Abraham from USA
Yes that's what I was referring to, lol. I had never watched the video of "The roof". Honestly I didn't like it. There's nothing that goes on in it. But the song is good. I would agree that she does look amazing in "Say something". I love when she straightens her hair. Billy I too like "Cry" and would say it is a masterpiece. It gives me classic Mariah. The whole album is a masterpiece.

Picture (46,773) by Abraham from USA
That's a great pic of Mariah. She looks beautiful and sexy as hell. Is that from '99? Looks like from the "Rainbow" era. I miss those type of dresses she used to wear. This is kind of silly but, I really like Mariah with long hair. She's had a lot of great hair styles. But there's just something with the long hair that makes Mariah more attractive. Whether it's straight or wavy, it suits her.

Music Box / next album (46,768) by Abraham from USA
Today I listened to the "Music Box" album from start to finish. And it truly is a beautiful, amazing album. The music, songs, lyrics, Mariah's voice. I love everything about it. Including the cover art. It's my favorite album cover of Mariah. She looks so beautiful and precious. I would love if Mariah did another black and white album cover. But maybe some would think it's boring? Not me though. My favorite tracks I never get enough of from the album are "Anytime you need a friend" (amazing), "Music box" (beautiful), "Now that I know" (one of Mariah's best). Those vocals, and it's so 1993 and "Everything fades away" (epic). "Music box" and "Me I am Mariah" are hands down my two favorite albums. Both are a beautiful body of work. I really hope Mariah makes another great body of work with the next. I want more ballads, gospel and vocals.

Lee/Mimi L. (46,743) by Abraham from USA
Lee thanks for posting that video. I was laughing. Mariah's part is the best. "I ripped that ponytail right off her head." Someone needs to show it to both Ariana and Mariah, lol. Mimi L, good list. I completely forgot about Drake and Usher. As for the women, I forgot Leona Luis. I like her voice and think their voices would blend together perfectly. But I don't think Mariah is interested in collaborating with female artists.

Lol (46,737) by Abraham from USA
A new boy toy would help Mariah's image? How? She's a grown woman who can do what she wants, but isn't it a little too soon for someone new. Ofourse Nick has moved on and already starting over with someone else. He's young and the wild type. (No boy toy for now.) But hey, if it'll make her happy. I think Mariah is the type that wants to be loved by someone. A lot of people feel that way. Take for instance Marilyn Monroe. Mariah doesn't like being alone. I'm sure whenever she's ready for a new start, there will plenty of men who would love to date her. Hopefully for all the right reasons. To Dan, I agree. I think Alicia Keys would be the perfect female artist for a collaboration. I think their voices would work and sound good together. Maybe on a ballad. I think other fans should post who they want Mariah to collaborate with. Mine are Pharell, Jay Z, R. Kelly, Robin Thicke or JT for the men. And Alicia Keys for the female.

Mariah back on the charts (46,727) by Abraham from USA
I myself want her to be back on the charts and to the top. I honestly think that there are people who don't want Mariah to get her next number one. Especially radio, they don't want her to surpass The Beatles record. But that's too bad, because if Mariah delivers another album like "MIAM" it will happen. She must have something planned for next year. It just takes one good album to change everything. Good singles, videos and promotion. I also miss seeing her at events, awards and tv talk shows. It's like she's retired. Right now it's all about Beyonce and Ariana (for now) but hopefully Mariah makes a great comeback and makes it about her. Also, in my post about Ariana I thought I had erased the word "she's" after favorite. Same with the icon. That was unnecessary. But everything else I meant. Ariana is beautiful and talented. But to me, you can't compare her to Mariah.
(Wednesday 10 September 2014; 21:56)
Ariana Grande (46,720) by Abraham from USA
I'm with the rest of you. I just don't see it, nor feel it. Ariana just doesn't do it for me. And I don't see the comparisons. It's so obvious her team is trying to make her as the new Mariah. But it's no use. Like someone posted, there will never be another MC, ever. Mariah's voice at her prime is unmatched, as with her song writing. Ariana needs a whole team to help her write one verse for a song. No other new female singer will ever top a song like "VOL". Ariana is such a copy cat. Her image, clothing/attire, singing technique, attempting the whistle register, laughing in the end of songs. And she's my favorite, having black and white album covers. She's even taken pics like Mariah posed exactly the same way. I'm tired of her. I've heard that ever since she heard what Mariah said about her in "TBC" interview. She now hates Mariah. I think Ariana being cool with Katy Perry is the reason with Katy dissed Mariah. Those two can have several seats. It doesn't matter how much older or old Mariah gets, no one will top her in voice, talent and music.

Thirsty / new album (46,699) by Abraham from USA
Of course "Thirsty" is about Nick. All the lyrics make it obvious. And why are some of you saying that "Thirsty" was recorded long ago? It wasn't. Don't you remember the rumored tracklist. "Thirsty" wasn't on there. It was one of the three new songs Mariah said she recorded. But I guess we have our opinions. For Mariah's next album. I'd like more ballads and gospel. And am I the only one who wants Mariah to do an interlude? I want one like "Sunflowers". Maybe Mariah harmonizing, doing whistles. With birds chirping in the background. Like in the end of "Fourth of July".

Wow (46,685) by Abraham from USA
Mariah is looking great. She's lost weight and is getting her sexy figure back. And I like that hair style. She looks really happy and seems to be doing okay, I'm glad. I hope everything goes well with the tour. I'm really hoping she releases a new album next year.

Next cover (46,664) by Abraham from USA
What song would you like Mariah to cover next? Mine would be "You are not alone" by MJ. Or "You give good love" by Whitney.
(Sunday 7 September 2014; 5:54)
Jermaine (46,589) by Abraham from USA
I don't buy for a fact that Jermaine decided to leave Mariah as her manager. Or if he did, Mariah more and likely showed signs she wasn't happy. He got the hint and stepped down. I don't blame her. I love Jermaine, but he isn't manager material. His talent is in just making good music. They both did a good job with "MIAM". And I love Jermaine's statement of him saying that he wants to make hit records with Mariah. That I believe. I'm counting on Mariah's new manager to step up and do what should have been done all along. Mariah belongs back on top. Not someone like Beyonce. I don't know what people see or hear in that lady. Music is simply gone now and days. But thankfully there is an artist like MC who brought it back with "Beautiful" and the rest of her album. I'm so glad that her and Jermaine are cool. They will make more good music together.

A hit album (46,565) by Abraham from USA
Last message of the day I promise. I've been having a great day. Listening to music. I thought I'd share my idea of a hit album for Mariah. Maybe I could be a music producer or sequence songs for an album, lol. Hope Mariah would see this.
1. A song like "Treat her like a lady". Something fun, up tempo.
2. A new Mariah theme song like "Can't take that away". Something that lets everyone know she's strong and will be okay.
3. A real cool r&b song
4. 70's type song about love or break up
5. An up tempo song featuring Pharell or Robin Thicke.
6. Hope street.
7. A love ballad type song featuring Sam Smith, John Legend or a female artist. I've always wanted Mariah to do a song with Luciano Pavarotti.
8. Gospel type song.
9. This cannot be love featuring R. Kelly.
10. Old school/60's or 70's type song.
11. I'll still be around featuring Stevie Wonder.
12. A nice feel good song like "Golden" from Jill Scottt. Something uplifting about being okay and enjoying life.
13. A jazz song (most of us have been wanting).
14. The song "Save the day" or Michael Jackson's "You are not alone".
