Rihanna, Whitney (36,495) by Desiree from USA I would like to start off saying I am a fan of Mariah Carey, but I always like Whitney better. But I apprecaite what Mariah Carey has done in the music industry. Whitney was the first female to have an album debut at number one and she continued to have hits even after "I will always love you". I'm saying that Whitney Houston had two albums before Mariah came out and both were a worldwide success. Rihanna on the other hand to me is a talent in her own way for she already has 11 number one hits. (Friday 12 October 2012; 22:32)

Whitney was the first black women on MTV. Whitney is in the record book for winning the most music awards in history. So yeah, I stand my ground that without Whitney there can be no Mariah. Well, I find the video to be a disadvantage for Nicki, because someone doesn't go off on someone without that person keep pushing their buttons. Also it takes two to tango, so Mariah had herself to blame too. Nicki didn't act the right way, but I can't blame her, because where I am from it's all about giving respect and then you recieve it back. Let it go (36,427) by Desiree from USA People keep on talking about the feud, let it go. I like both artists and I see it from both angles. Mariah is a legend and should be treated with respect. Nicki is an upcoming artist who is on top of the charts now. Mariah can't always be the center of attention. I feel if you want respect, you must earn it.
