Icon award (89,188) by TJ from Norway Is it just me, or was a lot of the lambs very happy that Mariah didn't win the year Janet got her award, arguing that it was only given to persons that had nothing left of their careers? First of all, she didn't write "I still believe", and there's some crap on that list. Bye Bye? Really? Can't stand that song or sound. I guess we all have our own subjective opinions. I was 16 at the time and everything Mariah did was just right (except for one or two songs on Emotions). I have never thought that the song isn't similar to the rest of the album. Re: After the Caution tour (88,282) (88,291) by TJ from Norway I just agree so much with you. Streaming is not the same as having the CD or DVD. The quality is much better in physical formats than on Netflix or Spotify. I just hope she will release some of her old concerts etcetera. I went to the Paris concert on the Charmbracelet tour. I remember they filmed it, and that it was supposed to be released on DVD. I just don't remember why it never happened. One of my friends is a huge fan of Madonna and she does release a lot of stuff for her fans. I know he is very satisfied with those releases. There's just so nice to play a concert from a to b. I also believe that we wouldn't know Mariah as we now do, if it wasn't for the pre Butterfly years. I'm just glad she made those extremely good albums in that area. Wow, what a sound and voice. Article: Mariah looks incredible (87,558) by TJ from Norway I really, really hope that Mariah stop having all the plastic "fantastic" surgeries. People claims that she look good all the time on Instagram etcetera, and that she isn't aging. Just Google Mariah Carey 2014 or 2015 and look at the difference in her eyes. What on earth has she done with those beautiful eyes that she used to have? It's so sad that she won't age naturally and that she is becoming more and more like Michael Jackson. Or an alien. There are powerful women in the movie industry who age with style, I guess people in the music industry can as well. Last January I was listening to Charmbracelet the whole month, and had so much fun with that. This January am I dedicating to Emotions. So many good songs, and some weird ones on that album. So many good memories from the time when I first got my hands on that CD. This was before I started collecting everything she released. (Sunday 6 January 2019; 07:53)

Re: Being in your 20s (87,307) (87,318) by TJ from Norway I enjoyed my 20's, still feel like 27, but I love being in my 40's. Life is more stable, and I'm more aware of the choices I take in life. Even if I feel like 27, I don't try to act like a 27 years old guy. Too bad that ageing seems like a negative thing in the music business. (Sunday 30 December 2018; 19:05)
