Re: Heartbreaker question (90,696) (90,697) by automatic_prince from Germany
I have no idea. That video was the best. She even referred to it in the MTV making the video special when she went, "If this turns out good can I finally get a freaking MTV award for this or a nomination at least?" I think her first MTV award of any sort was that TRL thing in 2006.

Re: Caution / world tour record (90,333) (90,337) by automatic_prince from Germany
Well, don't hold your breath. This is never going to happen. She was going do this for the Rainbow tour and CB tour back in the day. And they never did. And back then this would have still sold a little bit unlike now where only a couple of die hard fans would stream. So let's not get our hopes up too high. We'd only be disappointed.

Re: Article: Mariah Carey is "stamping her heels" with frustration (90,066) (90,072) by automatic_prince from Germany
Last week's news. Nobody picked up on this so Daily Mail are trying it again? Why? Just leave it. Nobody cares. But the heel stamping was pretty funny. As if that is what happens when she gets mad. Anyway is she more of a sitting down stamper or does she prefer to do it standing up?

Marie Curie the bigger scandal (90,007) by automatic_prince from Germany
I love that cake story. And at least in Germany all, and I really mean all, online outlets wrote about it. But only one paper wrote about those leaked pictures from 2016. So we can all move on from this. Nobody cares about a bikini picture but everybody loves some cake.

Re: Favourite whistle (89,892) (89,921) by automatic_prince from Germany
One of my favourites is very niche: My All - Beijing, 2014. That last note is so unexpected but blends in really well. I'd love to have a better recording of it. YouTube only has two shaky videos.

25 years? (89,748) by automatic_prince from Germany
Even though most of the current reviews are pretty good I feel like all the papers are really lazy and just copy and paste from each other. First it was "Mariah hasn't performed at Royal Albert Hall in 25 years". Which is not true. She performed there at the Tickled Pink concert in 2005 (which by the way was 100% lipsync but a very nice performance - look it up). And the latest review now writes "she hasn't performed in London in 25 years". Lol. No, it's actually been less than six months. Hilarious.

Re: Happy birthday to dem kids (89,398) (89,404) by automatic_prince from Germany
Isn't it weird that there was only one other kid at their birthday party? And the rest were all Mariah's entourage. I hope there were more kids there and they just weren't in the group picture. But it seems dembabies are growing up with just Mariah's staff around them.

Re: Horrible promotion for BBMA (89,145) (89,153) by automatic_prince from Germany
Ok, I kind of see the point and maybe I have to take it back a little bit. BB is about sales. But for some reason this constant mentioning of her achievements just doesn't sit well with me. Didn't they have that as the intro to some of the Elusive Chanteuse shows in Asia. That was weird.

Horrible promotion for BBMA (89,139) by automatic_prince from Germany
First of all I'm super happy for Mariah. That being said, I really hate the way they choose to promote it. When I saw her insta story I cringed so hard. They ask, "What makes a legend?" Why do they always have to emphasize how much she sold in the 90's? This really makes her look like a has been. I'm my opinion she deserves this award but not because of how much she's sold. In my opinion they should have put more emphasis on how she's helped shape modern pop music. Her style of singing, introducing rappers to pop songs etc. But well... her team just doesn't get it.

Copenhagen concert experience (86,924) by automatic_prince from Germany
I wanted to share my experience at the show in Copenhagen. She really surprised me. First of all, the costumes really didn't look as bad as I initially thought. With the exception of the last one, that one's horrible. Oh and let's not forget about that snow princess hood. Kind of cute from the front, kind of weird from the side. But those are just minor things. Anyone who was worried about that, don't be.

So the arena was huge and almost sold out which was cool to see. The last show I've been to in Munich was much less than half sold out which really hurt me because the SSF tour was so great. Anyway, even though there were so many people the crowd in Copenhagen was kind of reserved and not overly enthusiastic. But maybe that's just the Danish mentality. People only got up from their seats after Mariah told them to get up. But as the show went on and she sang the better known songs the crown came alive and remained standing for the last couple of songs.

I have to say all of the live parts sounded amazing. Not strained or tired at all. Her voice was in such a good shape that there was hardly a differece between the live parts and the prerecorded parts. And I'm pretty sure many of the non lambs there didn't even notice. And I think she even did a live whistle when they lifted her up.

Overall it was a great show and I hope everyone still going to one of the upcoming shows has an amazing time.

Re: I feel ashamed (86,758) (86,777) by automatic_prince from Germany
Thank you so much for saying that. That was exactly what I was thinking when I saw the pictures. My hopes were up so high after her mostly awesome outfits from the Asian tour. Especially because it will be my bf's first time seeing her. I feel so embarrassed for what we are about to see. The current outfits just look thrown together last minute and super cheap. And don't even get me started on those tacky angel wings. I can't. Oh well I still look forward to seeing her. From what I've seen on Instagram she sounds good. Two more days until the show in Copenhagen.

Mariah’s Europe Insta story (85,158) by automatic_prince from Germany
You know the way she has a couple of stories saved in her Insta profile? She has one for the Asian tour and one for Caution and so on. Well I just noticed she had one for the European tour but now it's gone. I hope that's not a bad sign. I really hope she's not planning to cancel the European tour if the album turns out to be a success.

Re: Mariah and Busta (84,969) (84,984) by automatic_prince from Germany
Oh yes. I forgot about that. The snippets sounded good. They should totally put it on the album as well. They even shot a video but knowing Mariah she probably hates it because that was last year and she was a bit heavier so I don't think we'll ever see it. But I'd love to. Maybe she'll surprise us.

Blockchain... really? (84,869) by automatic_prince from Germany
Can we take a moment and talk about the fact that Mariah cancelled her Australian tour but decided to fly half way around the world anyway to perform at this random blockchain event in Japan when she was supposed to be in Australia? Just to make a little bit of cash? Really? When she cancelled that part of the tour I really thought her team had an actual plan. But nothing apart from the AMAs and now this. I feel like she's totally abandoning the new songs already. Oh dear. We're in for another MIAMTEC.

Mariah at Mashantucket October 14th 2017 (78,283) by automatic_prince from Germany
Caused by overall excitement about the UK Christmas shows I clicked on her official website for the first time in months and stumbled upon this odd show in Mashantucket on October 14th. It's neither part of the ATH tour nor a residency. I don't even remember it being announced. It's just this weird one-off. Is anybody going to this? At first I got super excited because I will be in that area the same weekend so I startet freaking out but then I checked ticket prices and couldn't believe it. They range from $175 to $500. How is that even possible? What's even weirder is that they have Daddy Yankee and Tom Jones around the same time and those tickets are between $60 and $200 max. Now I really love Mariah but I don't wanna be ripped off.

This is so frustrating (70,667) by automatic_prince from Germany
Hi everyone. I read this amazing board often but this is only my second time posting here. And as I'm typing this I realize that I only seem to feel the need to post here when something tragic happens. I think the last time I posted here was after her disastrous Elusive Chanteuse Show in Tokyo. I couldn't believe it was happening back then and neither can I right now. I guess I just need to feel the warmth and the cuddles from the Lambily to get through this fiasco. So thanks for being here. I mean this is really bad. Most of my feelings have already been expressed by other members on this board so I don't need to go into detail about what needs to change in Mariah's career. I'm just going to end on a more superficial note and point out that in opinion she looked absolutely fantastic. Possibly her best look in the last one or two years. That's why it's even more frustrating. It could have been perfect and we could have had an amazing performance to look back at. Well it was not meant to be... again.

Yokohama huge improvement (47,212) by automatic_prince from Germany
Hi there, I am a new member. I've been following the discussions here for a while. And I have to say how happy I am to see Mariah's performance hugely improved in Yokohama tonight. She changed the part in Vision Of Love she struggeled with in Tokyo and got through the song a lot better. Good job Mariah, very good job.
