It looks like she couldn't hear herself and she just gave up during the performance. It also look like they tried to salvage the performance by using a backing track, but that also failed. All she can do now is pull a Beyonce now. She is gonna have to prove to people she still got it. I know she thinks she doesn't have to prove herself because she been in the game for a long time but remember Beyonce lip singing fiasco. She held a press confere and all was well. Proud (52,801) by LaCoya from USA I am so proud of Mariah. She is doing her thing. Lol. And to be honest with you I love the new single. You here the different aspects of your voice, the highs, lows, and that fast singing she loves to do. Us as fans are used to Mariah singing these big ballads, but I believe Mariah never wanted to be a ballad singer, she always love r&b, and that is what she is doing, the thing that she always love. Anyhow, support the single and stop complaining, we should be happy, we got our new music and to see our girl Mariah grow as an artist, which I think she has done. Mariah, you go girl. Thoughts (48,416) by LaCoya from USA I was just thinking that since Mariah is a a self proclaim superstar and has sold millions of records, I believe it is time for her to experiment with her sound. I know she wants to please the fans, but if we are true fans we will support her in any way. For example, she should come out with a gospel inspired album, since she loves that sort of thing. Also I heard others mention on this messageboard about her coming out with an acoustic album or jazz album. Maybe just the piano and her. I believe now is the time to do it. P.S. Beyonce (48,344) by LaCoya from USA I hate to say it, but Mariah is going to have to pull a "Beyonce". She is going to have to prove to these critics and other people that she can still sing. Remember when Beyonce lip sing her performance for the inauguration and people dogged her until she proved them wrong? That is what I believe she will have to do. I hate that she has to prove herself over and over, but when people are always trying to ruin your career, over and over, you have to fight for it. (Saturday 6 December 2014; 15:04)
