Mariah has a residency show starting in 1 month, whatever people try to say, she needs to make some sacrifices ahead of her show, and this includes her body and looks. She's been yo-yo dieting for years now, I just can't believe it's the same Mariah who was on Idol. She lost some considerable weight on Idol and looked amazing, even if I'm pretty sure she felt some pressure from Nicki Minaj. Mariah is not an entertainer, her voice is not what it used to be, and this is an euphemism. I'm sorry but people won't go to her show just because she is Mariah Carey, it's outdated. She needs to bring something new and fresh to the table. She wants to stay relevant but at the same time does not do any effort to. She used to be so dedicated to her work, and it's okay to be tired after so many years breaking record after record and sacrifying her life to give her best through her music. But enough, she got rewarded, we lambs have been there for her, we have bought her music, we have acknowledged her talent and good work, and supported her. If Mariah is not motivated anymore, and prefer to enjoy life, drink her wine and champagne, she just has to retire, and the sooner the better, for the sake of her dignity.
