Re: A joke (92,983) (92,992) by Tevin from USA I agree, yes I'm happy for Mariah's recent success, but to turn a blind eye to a problem that she most likely has, is very delusional. I'd rather and as most fans and decent human beings would, rather have Mariah lose all her records, just to get her voice health and mental stability back and in check. I don't want to wake up one day and hear that Mariah has had a serious injury or worse . It's time to address the elephant in the room. I will continue to support her, but, I'm not going to turn a blind eye when there is a problem. But as long as we all are still breathing and blessed with another day of life, we all including Mariah can improve our lives. (Saturday 22 February 2020; 17:24)

Did you just say Mariah lipsynced her way through the Daydream Tour? Interesting theory, but lipsync, playback or not, like Randy said, you can't deny that something seriously messed up her voice in those few months between her last Daydream performance and her first Butterfly performance. What happened with her tone and agility doesn't just happen overnight especially at that age, without some sort of trauma or health problem. Unless dare I say (I'm probably going to get burned on the lamb stake for this) Tommy and company took away some of the smoke and mirrors during there split, aka the Butterfly era, and we could see the true inconsistency in her voice. New Lamb alert (92,916) by Tevin from USA Yo you all should check out this guy's channel. I just ran across it yesterday. He reviews a lot of rnb and hip hop songs, of course the lambs came out in full force with request. So Jack does a lot of reactions to Mariah songs. He never really listened to her before but every video he makes of her, he gets more and more impressed. I appreciate the video in the link, because lately he has been reviewing Caution and he goes into detail about how amazing the production, mixing, and melodic tone of everything is. It just goes to show Mariah doesn't need an in your face vocal acrobatic album to, dare I say "create a great body of work", that is modern. I love Caution. p.s. Re: Bill (92,851) (92,852) by Tevin from USA I have to agree with Andrew's last post, as much as I love watching any new video of Mariah on tour, I do have to admit that I'd rather get just a few handful of good and solid performances wether televised or not from her than a bunch of bad or sub par performances (even if it's not her fault and simply boild down to her health or nodules or whatever). Nothing against her (because I know that touring nowadays is how artists make there money) but all hopefulness aside, the reality is, unless something changes in Mariah's health, vocal training, or vocal rest, things aren't going to get much better, and God forbid they get worse. Even though you lose a bit of the soul in the song (since its edm remix) the song sounds so fresh and amazing. Whitney's voice. I just cried (89,413) by Tevin from USA Mariah song 100% live, gave a solid performance. Taylor Swift was fan girling her. The crowd loved her. That acceptance speech I literally cried when she said, that us, her fans, saved her life. Thank you miss Mariah Carey. Even though we already knew it, you've just confirmed your legacy your humility and your heart to millions of people and to the GP. I can now move on from the last 4 crazy years in her career. Mariah's awards performance (89,211) by Tevin from USA So I haven't posted in a while. I wanted to say, like all of you, I'm super excited about Mariah's upcoming performance, especially since this will be her night, sort of speak, since she will be receiving the Icon Award. I try to take a step back and really think about what would make for a great performance. We all know she is probably going to perform a melody of hits. I believe Mariah needs to bring the energy to the stage like she did in the E=MC2 era. I think she should start off with the same intro and mix of IBLYLT/TBM then after her whistle ending, you hear "yo New York is in the house", and Steve should go into Fantasy, then, remix Anono, start of with Biggie's line, then she can go right into singing a no no, then to end, she definitely should end with ABMB. (It's one of her only 90s that's still in solid rotation. But she should end it with crowd participation in the song just like she did in Japan in 96. Leave on s solid note, everyone smiling and happy. 95% live signing and no gown or long dress, but jeans and a t-shirt.) (Tuesday 16 April 2019; 22:14)
