I have been a fan of Mariah since day one, I'm old enough to remember hearing Vision of Love on the radio in 1990 and feeling it deep in my soul, with those thrilling highs, I felt like a bird having the cage door opened and soaring towards the great blue yonder and freedom. I have over the years come to this message board to get snippets of news and keep up with what's happening, it was always used to be a great forum for what was going on and lambs expressing their thoughts, hopes and feelings. Lately it feels like a really negative space, so much so that I wanted to write this post. Mariah is a diva, yes she is and that's why I love her, but she is also human and I have come to accept the way she looks, sounds and dresses. Who am I to judge? Am I a world famous singer with 18 number ones, a back catalogue of hits and more money than I could ever spend? No and I am at peace with that. I think it is fine to express disappointment and a wish for her to succeed when she fails, but do we have to be so negative within ourselves? We are lambs are we not? Let's try and act like a flock of fabulousness rather than a herd of hatred.
