About Matty from Vancouver Canada: I love music of all kinds, with R&B and pop toping my list of favourite genres. I've been a Mariah fan since Charmbraclet, there was something about that album that connects on a deep level. Other favourite albums are Glitter, Daydream, The Emancipation of Mimi, and Me. I Am Mariah.

My Favourite Mariah Songs are: The Art of Letting Go, Fantasy & Shake It Off.

My Least Favourite album is Music Box.

My most start-to-finish listened album (don't-skip-a-track albums): Emotions, Butterfly, The Emancipation of Mimi and Me. I Am Mariah: The Elusive Chanteuse.

Who is Jack Harlow? (104,228) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
That's my only question: who is this guy? Anyone know?

The sound of MC16 (104,219) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
I have always wanted a full on Disco album from MC. I love the idea of a Jazz album that many have brought up, or, and hear me out, a Country inspired album. I'm not a huge Country fan necessarily, but something in the vain of Kacey Musgrave like Right to Dream and Help Me Make it Through the Night would be gold. Willy Nelson could co-produce with Mariah.

Also, if any label would release a "Greatest hits: Gospel Mariah" with So Blessed, [I wish you well], [Fly like a bird], Heavenly etc. I'd purchase it on vinyl.

Never sung in her life (104,158) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
Ok critical lambs, you've exposed it. Mariah has never sung in her life. She's a studio creation. She can't sing, she's never performed live, the only Mariah that was real was 1993-1995. Adele, Celine, Ariana, Beyoncé never ever lip. . I've gotta ask (especially the "I wish Mariah was frozen in 1993" from the UK commenters), why can't you just enjoy Mimi's magic and success? I get we all have our favourite "Mariah moments", but all those with the opinionated stance that nothing beats Mariah between Music Box and Daydream is tired. Mariah's best, most emotive moments are post Charmbracelet.

3 biggest feature shames (104,097) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
I love the Westlife version of Against All Odds and would have taken them over the 98 Degrees boy band colab with TGIFY. Westlife didn't fully land in Canada, so maybe it's because it was one of my only real exposure to them that I like that version so much.

Instead, I'd like to suggest When Christmas Comes with John Legend. I love that feature and video so much, it's everything Christmas to me and should have been the version of MCIIY. Plus John is so darn cute especially playing on the keys.

Can Mariah beat The Beatles? (104,096) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
I think Mariah could absolutely best The Beatles, but I remember her saying in an interview years back that she's afraid to eclipse their standing because people would throw a fit. She mentioned things were already heated enough when she surpassed Elvis. If Mariah got credit on BBE, and her feature on Unforgettable with French Montana were the main, standard versions, plus Migrate being single 2 from EMC2, and Loverboy Firecracker version getting a proper push, she'd be there.

3 biggest feature shames (104,073) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
It's a darn shame that the following tracks didn't have the features included on the official album versions:
1) UOMF - Nicki Minaj
2) Whenever you call - Brian McKnight
3) Against all odds/Take a look at me now - Westlife

There are a few features I could have done without on the album release, these three are ones I wish were included on the official album release every time I listen to the respective albums in full.

What happened to Brandy's voice? (104,071) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
I think the car accident she was in around 2007 took an unreal emotional toll on her. Some on the board seem to forgot how life experience affects your artistic output at the deepest level. I love Brandy, and the Butterfly Lounge reimagining was a missed opportunity for both Mariah and Randy.

Not sure what to do (104,057) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
Absolutely go. Last years show in Toronto was so unreal, positive, and full of joy. It's also a great remind of how the general public sees and loves Mariah vs. critical lambs. It's refreshing. I saw her at MSG on New Years 2010, the venue is iconic and Mariah on her home turf is something you don't want to miss.

Talk show schedule (104,027) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
Does anyone know Mimi's full talk show schedule for the coming months? She's been doing so much more TV recently and I don't know until after the fact. Thanks so much for the JHud tip this week. I've got it recorded now. Any other daytime or nighttime talk show appearances coming up? I love when Mariah does the talk show circuit.

It's time clip (103,950) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
Brad, we're back to the classic divide with this board. I wasn't being snarky at all. It's a trend that's existed for 30 plus years and Mariah is implementing it. I was not being a b*tch. I felt your comment came across as judgement, over something that's been normalized for years. I'm sorry you took my response personally. People want MC to be relevant, and when she is, she's criticized for not being Mariah from the '90s.

Intentional. I swear some of you are so out of touch. I'm 38 and can still grasp what the trends are. Matching earrings aren't the moment. Think Janet and George in the 80's, that's happening again.

7 songs one billion streams (103,923) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
What are some of you talking about that MC pays dust to Daydream? Fantasy, ABMB and Hero are Mariah's most over played song on radio. Fantasy is my personal life anthem, but you can't turn on the radio without one of those three songs playing, that's why no one needs to stream them, they are over played in the main stream. It's like Papa Don't Preach by Madge and Toxic by Britney, why would you stream them when they are constantly playing in every grocery store and drug store? Touch My Body and Obsessed are also creeping up in the over played roster. Mariah has so many master pieces, I wish the mainstream would diversify her music on radio and other public forums.

David Guetta and Fred Again (103,548) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
I agree. Mariah lead the way in the '90's with helping to create the idea of a celebrity DJ, but never kept up with hottest celebrity DJ's after the Jump Smokers era who also had other massive hits and remixes with Britney Spears, Pitbull and Ke$ha. I love that she finally worked with DJ Khalid, but I would absolutely love an album of club bangers with hot celebrity DJ's who play the festival circuit.

My Prayer and Forever (103,386) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
I absolutely adore My Prayer. It feels like a sister song to Forever from Daydream. I wish Mariah had more songs in this 1950 early 1960s Doo Wop sound. I know she's got a lot of songs with inspiration of Doo Wop like ABMB, but My Prayer, Forever and of course Hopeless Devoted to You with Olivia are just spectacular and suite her voice perfectly.

Bebe Rexha phone throw (102,923) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
Hahahahahaha so true and were desperate for a viral moment. Imagine if the person at Mariah's LA Pride concert [hit] Mariah in the face like it did Bebe. So apparently what I've learned from the Gen Z'ers in my life (I'm a Millennial, gotta hit up this new younger bunch for this info). Apparently it's something where the some artists will pick up the phone after it's thrown on stage and take a selfie with it and toss it back to the phone owner. Not in the case of Bebe because the dude told the police he thought it would be funny, but apparently the origin is having the artist play along and snap a selfie. Lame imo.

Bebe Rexha phone through (102,919) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
I heard on a podcast reviewing Mariah LA Pride Concert, that someone threw their cell phone on the stage during the Pride concert and in classic Mariah form made a joke and then kicked the phone to the side. Did you all see that Bebe Rexha had someone do the same thing at her concert and now has stitches and a black eye? Can't someone explain with this new stunt is and what the disrupters intentions are? I don't get it? The guy who hit Bebe said when he got arrested "I thought it would be funny." Why? Where is the funny part of throwing a hard object at a performer that you paid to see? I'm lost at this new trend. Any insight?

MB30 (102,907) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
Robert-Anthony, I couldn't agree more. I respect and love that it moves mountains for some of the lambs, but for me it's the most uninspired and basic of all the Mariah albums. It's such a snooze. Celine, Barbara or Whitney could have sung lyric for lyric the entire MB album. It doesn't have any of that Mariah magic imo.

Best song intro (102,779) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
Fantasy is like nothing else. I think it's her most known intro to non-lambs for sure and you just know exactly the fire and heat she's about to unleash. I love the "Bounce Bounce Bounce" from Migrate is epic especially for an album opener; probably her best album opener. I'd also back the LoverBoy Firecracker intro; it's a heartbreaker that she couldn't have released that initially.

Ps. Any North American's see the upcoming commercial for The Bachelorette? [They] use [Fantasy] in it, and starts with that epic intro. It's almost a best of montage Fantasy it's [an] amazing commercial and I'm not even a fan of the show.
