You would think after New Years Eve the damage control would be putting out a live set where MC goes back to basics or at the least SSF performances. I could tell when she did the interview with Ryan that her voice was hoarse and I thought oh here we go with another lipped performance. She neeeds to prove to everyone she can still sing. Maybe I've been reading this "negative" message board too long or I'm tired of MC's lipping, idk but I just want something to look forward to this year. If she can't sing it live then mix it up and give us something different. So tired of the live opener and then the back track kicks in for the belts and whistle. And the outfits. Just wear something different. I don't care if it's all boobs. Just stop with the glitter same cut out dress. I don't know why she even bothers buying new clothes, just pull out some glittery booby outfit from 10 years ago no one will notice. (Friday 30 December 2016; 4:37)

If MC releases a new song/album in 2017 then this would be a perfect add on once the album kinda does down around fall of 2017. We need some live television appearances where MC sounds amazing. After my Vegas trip everyone I know asked me if she was lipping. It really shows what people think. If it's not the lipping comment then it's an eye roll at the mention of her name. Mariah was 90% live. Lipping of course the majority of upbeat songs. She sounded amazing start to finish. She was able to do adlips and messed up a few times but still sounded heavenly. Her voice was so clear and strong. My boyfriend didn't want to go but wants to go back. He was surprised how good she sounded live and enjoyed the show. (Wednesday 31 August 2016; 20:30)

The disconnect (64,331) by Dustbin from USA I believe the biggest problem with Mariah and her music is the public doesn't believe it. And obviously the lambs don't either. And I'm not talking about or getting into the vocals. There is a disconnect between the lyrics and music Mariah makes and the actual person. All we see are these diva antics and diamonds. Where is the Mariah that wrote the first albums through the emancipation? It's hard to believe in what she sings. That's the disconnect with fans and casual listeners. Period. Where's the Mariah we all once knew? She's there, somewhere. I want Mariah to come out swinging with an unplugged album or a bad A live performance. (Saturday 16 July 2016; 2:43)

When [...] singing a whole concert, there has to be moments to breathe and save [...] voice. Mariah has been giving us belts we haven't heard in years. It's there and getting stronger. Girl has been singing. I think a lot of times the disconnect is when she does a big ballot (?)and sounds amazing, but can't do it live all the time. Let's not do that. We want to hear [...] voice on the cd and in person. She was on fire that night. Makes me feel good as a lamb. We need that on a studio song. I cannot wait to see MC on the 28th of August. Slow it down, rearrange, and give us new life. She still sounds better than anyone out there with her current voice but it's overshadowed by backup tracks and lipping. The public thinks it's all smoke and mirrors. Though there are many, it's not all true. We have been listening to Mariah long enough and we know when the backup track starts. Regarding the Vegas show. Sneaking in a fan request isn't a lot to ask for. Changing a song to acoustic isn't asking a lot. I would prefer the "to Infinity" part of the show referenced other MC songs, not the actual song. She could do all the #1's and each show sing a random song or a new one. We pay a lot of money for this that and the other to see Mariah. Am I reaching for the stars here? I don't think so. (Tuesday 14 June 2016; 0:51)

Something special for the fans that go that particular night. A different song or a cover, a fan request. Adele, Celine, Whitney, Sam Smith, Britney. A cover would go viral. Just a thought. Nothing about the show. Mariah needs to have a vocal moment for the general public in order to be believable again. She needs to get back on James Corden and have a moment. I want her to say no my voice isn't like 1995, is yours? For this to work she needs to be real. This way the public gets her. I don't want people to continue to think she's ridiculous. I showed one of my friends the trailer and she said she seems like she can be a real witch. And I think that's how people see her. A witch and a diva. The talent. The person. It all gets overlooked.
