Mariah singing Rainbow (Interlude) (59,666) by Familitchi from France I felt something in my heart as she sang it and it almost made me cry. So beautiful. That song is amazing. The whole album "Rainbow" was very spiritual to me, Mariah used many nature sound effects in the album such as rain or birds singing. Also for me this album marks the beginning of a new style for Mariah, I feel like Rainbow is the album where she started harmonizing the most. Mariah was coming into herself a lot, finding herself/her true personality and she started asserted herself as in "can't take that away from me". I love the whole theme of the album, the symbol of the "rainbow' which feels so hopeful and bright, as well as her little message on the cover where she talked about human beings: "In a perfect world Human beings would co-exist Harmoniously, like a rainbow A multitude of colors Each layer vibrant and clear by itself But in unison… Boundless, breathtaking, celestial" 16 years ago this still holds true, let's forget about race/ sexuality/ gender/ nationality etc and just all get together. In France, there is a radio which is called "Nostalgie" and it basically makes a point of nostalgia by playing older songs. The two major songs by Mariah heard there are "Without You" and "My All". In fact, I would say they play these two songs every single week. But this radio is basically one of the only radios playing music which is not current. In 2013/2014 the "You're mine" remix by Grego Salto was very often played by "current" radios. Obviously I don't need to go into AIWFCIY, we all know that that song is a massive success pretty much everywhere. (Sunday 17 January 2016; 19:03)

Forgotten moments.. (59,158) by Familitchi from France Mariah's career has been going on for so long and she did so much that many things completely went to oblivion. Some of these moments are her acting in the movie "Wise girls" or the beautiful movie "Tennessee". But some songs are also not very known like her featuring in the song "Warning" or "Lil Love". I'm 18 and I wasn't even old enough to watch/ experience some of these things when they came out, so every once in a while I encounter things on YouTube or somewhere that I have no idea Mariah actually ever did, and that's how I know that's it's been quite forgotten, nobody ever mentions these things.
