She was #2 on Spotify this Saturday. If we can stream the song crazily the week before Christmas, we can get her another #1. On the other side, a Top 10 is very likely. Selling like hotcakes (68,997) by Letters From Adi from India The chart performance of AIWFCIY this year has been tremendous. Already #6 on UK Spotify and iTunes when you combine the two versions. On the other side of the pond, she's #12 on US iTunes, a bit behind in US Spotify at #51 and climbing rapidly on radio (#51 on radio already with steady 1/2M + A.I. updates daily). Her VH1 Divas Live performance plus Mariah's World will give even more boost. I think a 19th #1 in US and 3rd in UK is not out of reach within the next few weeks. (Friday 2 December 2016; 17:07)

Learning from mistakes (66,784) by Letters From Adi from India It's pointless to cry over spilt milk. This sequence of these unfortunate events may have a silver lining. Mariah's team needs to learn from their mistakes. Miley is just at it again. She thrashed Gaga in 2013, Nicki in 2015, when she had to release new music. This time she's picking Mariah. I find pitting popstars against another degrading. The newer generation has a vision of Mimi being a diva who tries too hard and fails over and over. But contrary to that, I believe that this can be benificial to her. Media tried to thrash Bey back in 2011, but her team was clever enough to stop the rumors and negative press instantly. Mariah needs a team like that in my opinion. She will always have the respect from the previous generations who have witnessed the peaks of her creativity and prowess. If Mariah is smart enough, she can actually turn the tables in her favor. An image rehaul will get her massive support she lost through the years. I have faith in you, Mimi. Why streaming matters (66,699) by Letters From Adi from India I know some of you guys think streaming isn't a huge factor, but it is quite the contrary. For instance, Lady Gaga's Perfect Illusion debuted at #15 on Hot 100 despite being the second best selling song the week along with a radio deal. What kept her back from Top 10 was streaming. Her song is down to #117 on Spotify but is doing decently in sales and radio. It is of utmost importance that Mariah's team to get a streaming monster because if it is massive in streaming, sales and radio would follow too. (Sunday 25 September 2016; 23:13)

Mariah's streaming power (66,518) by Letters From Adi from India I've noticed a very impressive thing about her stats. Among her contemporaries, she boasts a very good streaming potential. If her team can tap into a streaming monster, airplay and sales would follow too and she'll have a hit in her hands. It'll also help her catalogue boost in streams. Also, Without You just hit 100M views on Youtube. She has 5 in total now. Among her contemporaries, only Jennifer has more with 8. Next in line is Angels Cry with 81M. Billboard charts (66,517) by Letters From Adi from India Regarding the confusion about the charts, I want to help to clear that up. Hot 100 currently has 3 components: sales (sales week is Friday-Thursday), Airplay (Monday-Sunday) and streams (Friday-Thursday). If the song is being serviced to radio, I would suggest purchase when the song is peaking in airplay for a better peaking chance. If it isn't being sent, the first will most likely be its peak, so buying instantly would be better. If you buy the song before Midnight of Friday, it will count for another week and its points will be split up. (Tuesday 20 September 2016; 22:42)
