Butterfly celebration (77,321) by Kay from Thailand While music is not a priority for Mariah and her team at the moment, how amazing would it be if, for the Butterfly anniversary, she took some time out from her "projects", like a month, and did a mini "lounge" tour where she performed the whole Butterfly album from the first to last track stripped down to a few instruments and the greatest instrument - her voice. Just her and a piano ala TGIFY in Vegas. The setting could be small intimate venues like on the Around the World DVD, it wouldn't cost as much as an arena tour, her fans would slap up the tickets, and the positive word of mouth would encourage newbies to check out her greatest piece of work and foster interest in her next album. Her preoccupation with non-music related "projects" surely can't be for the money, though it's totally understandable that when people don't come from money then come into a tonne of it, they strive for more and more wealth so that the rug never gets pulled from under them. Her metamorphosis must be to stay relevant, and if it was implemented by professionals with experience and a touch of class, she would have been able to swing it on home with projects that build on her brand as a super-talented record-breaking fabulous diva. Instead it's been a trail of bizzaro initiatives that aren't worthy of her name - a trashy reality show instead of something like a Netflix insightful documentary, the face of an Isreali beauty brand instead of a globally recognized reputable product, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix instead of Monacco and the list goes on. (No offence to those countries.) Of course the best of the best probably don't want to deal with her anymore because of her reputation. So she seems to have settled on evolving into a TMZ darling and to hell with anything of substance. (Tuesday 27 June 2017; 17:33)

Re: Mariah has got to stop (76,399) (76,422) by Kay from Thailand Mariah is not going to stop the antics anytime soon because she's too vain and her ego is too bloated. For more than half her life she's been told she's the greatest, the biggest selling, the voice etc etc., because she made amazing music that people responded to. Since that that kind of attention has declined over the last few years and the hits have dried up, she just creates her own reality, or her leeches keep her living in this bubble where all she hears are the yaaas queen and skinny legend bull.#% comments surrounding her trashy projects and image. And of course she's terrified of being called old and is trying desperately to stay relevant. If only she knew that sincerity, humility and using the amazing voice and songwriting skills she has is all that's needed to be regarded as the living legend she is while still remaining in the spotlight. Re: The stars are out (except one?) (75,882) (75,911) by Kay from Thailand On Twitter, someone asked what Demi Levato hadn't signed up, and her reply was, "Because I wasn't asked." So, possibly performers have been approached by the organizers and not the other way round? I guess Mariah could express interest, but there's no telling if that's happened behind closed doors.
