Re: Despacito (77,262) (77,280) by JD from United States Yes, this is exactly what I was thinking, because if you go on Billboard and search Rihanna's discography she only has 11 #1s I believe and the rest are features, so is that really breaking her record? I'd rather [see] Despacito get off the #1 because that's a record Mariah could keep for a long time if Despacito doesn't break it, and plus if you saw that video Justin doesn't even know the lyrics and kept saying "dorito burrito poquito". The disrespect. I'll let it slide though because he and Riri are both lambs but I'm getting worried for her records right now. [Webmaster: Next time, could you start a sentence with a capital? I've changed since last month, I just don't have millions of people watching me change and expecting me to act how I used to be, she's gone through like four engagements, two kids and a lot of other stuff we don't know about, it's not surprising that her priorities have changed. I wish she was more driven like from what I've seen in the 90s and TEOM era but there's really no point in harping on it, at least that's how I see it. Have you watched videos from her recently Vegas shows? If you haven't already search Mariahxlambily on YouTube and you'll see she's sounding pretty damn good. (Sunday 16 July 2017; 23:20)

Vegas 7/11/17 (77,165) by JD from United States Anyway, I'm listening to the recordings from her show on the 11th and they sound bomb to me. I'll admit watching the ones from earlier this week kinda had me discouraged but damn she sounded really good on Tuesday from what I saw. Watch "Love takes time" and the climax of Honey (not the lipped part but before that even sounded good) both are on YouTube and it sounded super clear and higher than I expected. It might not be just you guys but generally most of the fandom as a whole is like this. I just love her music honestly wanted to join a forum to talk about it but not like this. I'll be the first to admit I posted something seemingly "negative" but I was honestly just confused. Don't know why every time I mention my age to lambs they act as if they're above me for being older or liking her longer. I'd think you'd be happy she even has somewhat of a younger demographic still and that her songs still reach that audience but no, you just want to belittle what I say and ignore it and say "you were in diapers when we were listening to her music" like okay and? You all seem to want "the best" for Mariah yet you scare off most younger fans because how rude and clique-y most of you guys are. I literally stated multiple times in the post I didn't care about her weight gain I was just confused by her sudden appearance change, but everything I said still stands. I literally wasn't being "hateful" or attacking anyone by saying to stop the negativity. So if you're puking for me trying to say let's be more positive then that's sad. But let's ignore all of that and attack my age because you clearly don't want to stop the negativity. And also to clarify my message may have seemed harsh and hateful because it censored unnecessary words. Stop the negativity (77,127) by JD from United States I just joined this forum and you guys are honestly so negative. Mariah isn't 20 anymore lol so either enjoy the music from when she was in her 20s if that's what you want her to still sound like. It's impossible. Whitney was dragged through hell for her voice and weight gain before her death, then directly afterwards everyone swears they lived for her. Honestly Mariah's bar was so high anything lower is gonna be shit to you guys but I am a younger fan (17) and you guys need to stop being so negative constantly. Everyone has ups and downs in their life you can't expect her to be perfect for 27 years straight. I'm seeing her on the 27th with Lionel and I honestly don't care about him I'm just going to see her and I think she'll slay it. Honestly watching videos of performances can seem like they suck or don't sound right, because when you're watching the video all you focus on is the sound. When you're watching somebody live you feel the energy and you're dancing around having fun enjoying the moment. If you guys were there listening to her on the 3rd night of Vegas you'd probably have gotten chills. You can't expect an iPhone recording of a performance to sound as good as in person and/or a studio recording. I'll probably get attacked by you [censored] old lambs on here but honestly? [censored] and let the girl live. She's one of the last greats left alive and we're wasting all this time talking about this crap? You wonder why she doesn't seem as happy, it's not hard to search "Mariah Carey forum" and find this one and you already know Stella googles herself and Mariah constantly, maybe she sees all of you scalping her non stop and feels discouraged when her fanbase is the one being more hateful than the general public. I'm so confused - weight gain (77,049) by JD from United States Okay first off this is my first post on here but I had to say something, am I the only one super confused? I'm gonna start off by saying I personally don't care what Mariah looks like, but I know that the rest of the world does and her music sells 99.9% better during eras where she looks good and fit. I don't mean to body shame but what happened? Just a month ago on TMZ I saw a video of her walking down Rodeo (you can search her name on TMZ and it's the most recent article about her) and she looked great. not as skinny as 2013 for sure but about the same as 2016. Now she was wearing all black but watching the recent Vegas shows her thighs have literally doubled in size in about a month? Maybe it's the unflattering outfits she wears but damn girl. I mean I think it looks good but I really hope she didn't get a fat transfer from her stomach to thighs/hips because it doesn't fit her or look right on her. Maybe she got some kind of lipo? I know that when you get lipo on your legs they swell for about two weeks and then go down so maybe that's it? Is she wearing padding? She's looking like the next drag superstar with those unnaturally big looking thighs under those shiny nude colored stockings. Again I'm not one to shame somebodies body by any means it's just surprising to see her thighs get so big in literally a month lol. I'm really hoping she didn't do this for Bryan, thinking she'd look better "slim thick" like Blac Chyna or something, because it really doesn't fit her overall appearance well.
