About HoneyLamb from Germany:

Positive Monday (97,662) by HoneyLamb from Germany
I just wanted to send you all some positivity at the beginning of a new week. I have recently found this wonderful fan made Butterfly edit.

Someone added "Ethereal Harmonies" to the song. I do not know how "known" this version is to you all. Maybe it's new to some of you. Enjoy.

Since I have discovered this edit, it has replaced the original version on my Butterfly iTunes tracklist.

Hero live at Grand Gala du Disc 1993 (97,561) by HoneyLamb from Germany
Sigh, what a magnificent live performance. This is the first time I see this video.

Re: WBT Valentine's mix (97,430) (97,437) by HoneyLamb from Germany
What bothers me most: it's not rocket science to soften the transitions between the different parts. Yes, I am not Mariah the elusive chanteuse, but even I was able to soften most of these "bumps" just by using the stems from the internet and Audacity. So I would expect a studio perfectionist like Mimi (or her team) to do better and not have it sound that obvious.

Honey 2008 Summer remix (97,420) by HoneyLamb from Germany
Hear ye, hear ye. A full version of the Honey 2008 Summer Remix has been uploaded on YouTube. Not in best sound quality, but at least a full version.

Re: WBT Valentine's mix (97,399) (97,406) by HoneyLamb from Germany
When you listen to the stems of her songs you can hear that her vocals are stitched together from different sessions. In the studio she can record a short sequence where she is belting without issues. This is then stitched together with another recorded belting from another session. I'd say she never sings a single verse or chorus in one breath in the studio anymore. Not speaking about that it's almost impossible for her to do it live (all these Corona Home Studio Sessions sounded really painful).

A very good (or bad) example is One More Try. The whole song sounds horrible to me because it's one short recorded snippet after another. This makes it sound very incoherent.

An early example is Through The Rain where you can clearly hear the pieces that were glued together (a very unclean processing, many glitches where words start very rough).

I don't want to ruin the party, just want to let you know how it has been since at least Charmbracelet. It sometimes comes across as the emperor's (empress') new clothes how people praise her voice and performances in the last 10 years, like her recent WBT performance or release. It's again just another pre-recorded, auto-tuned car crash.

I feel like Caution and especially Rarities have been very good closing chapters of my life long fandom starting in 1994. I will always enjoy her recordings, please don't get me wrong, I love most of her catalogue, Daydream will always have a special place in my heart, but I was not able to enjoy any pseudo-live performance since E=MC2 and grew tired of her overly-processed vocals.

Here's the link to the dry lead vocals of OMT, where you can hear all these different parts from different sessions glued and mixed together.

Hypnotized (95,910) by HoneyLamb from Germany
Am I the only one who is a bit sad that she teased us with Hypnotized back then, and it's not part of The Rarities album now? The album itself is wonderful, even though I feel that some of these unreleased songs are a bit weaker than songs from their respective albums and that's why they were not part of them back then. Still thankful to finally hear them as they give us a bigger picture.

Re: Butterfly turns 23 - my dissertation (95,571) (95,619) by HoneyLamb from Germany
Thanks for highlighting the missing strings in the Bad Boys Remix. I decided to merge both versions into one, so that you have the Bad Boys Remix with the strings in the chorus 1 and 3 (not in the 2nd one as this one then goes directly into Rap). If contact me at andante.comodo@yahoo.com, I would be more than happy to send it to you.

Honey EPs (95,249) by HoneyLamb from Germany
Sigh, maybe it was just me being naive, but I had really hoped that she would release the “Honey 2008 Summer Remix” this Friday.

If you like to give me your mail address I can send you a mashup of the instrumental version and the stripped version of OC I did for myself with Audacity. My mail address is andante.comodo@yahoo.com.

I tried to upload it on Soundcloud, it was immediately put down. I can send it to you via email.

I mixed the orchestra version with the EMC stripped version (also did a few adjustments in the volume of her voice here and there). I'd would be more than happy to share it with you fellow lambs. What would be the best way?
