Questions regarding the Deluxe Anniversary cd (91,221) by sally from united states I'm wondering about a few things about the deluxe anniversary edition of the Merry Christmas album and hoping some of you may know the answer. First of all, does anyone know if it's limited edition and thus will no longer be available once the holidays are over? Furthermore, I'm wondering if the version of the deluxe cd sold on the official Mariah Carey shop website is completely one of a kind or if it's the same version you can buy elsewhere in stores, etc. I'm asking because on the official MC shop it is mentioned that this cd contains "rare photos, a personal note from Mariah, and some Mariah-themed Christmas decorations". So basically, does anyone know if this is the version of the deluxe edition that I'd find in a store or would I have to order it from the MC shop in order to get it? (Friday 1 November 2019; 23:28)

Walter's comments (87,173) by sally from united states After reading the interview with Walter I don't know what to think. I find it kind of hard to believe that Mariah would only evolve her sound to be heard on the radio. That being said I do agree with Walter's comments regarding the current state of music. In my opinion most of what they play is nowhere near the greatness of the 70s, 80s and 90s. I especially miss songs having interesting openings, background harmonies and being instrumentally rich. Current music sounds very flat to me, if that's the proper adjective. (Thursday 20 December 2018; 22:19)

Christmas albums (86,900) by sally from united states What other Christmas albums do you guys recommend besides Mariah's two masterpieces? I'm currently listening to Donna Summer's Christmas Spirit album from 1994 and enjoying a lot of the songs, maybe because they give me a similar vibe as some of Mariah's Christmas songs. Lamb of God, the Christmas Medley and her cover of Amy Grant's Breath of Heaven are among my favorite tracks. (Thursday 6 December 2018; 03:12)
