Maybe a re-release with a brand new extra disc (I'm being greedy lol) of new songs that never made the final cut - you know she did write and record that album the whole year through 2004. I remember Mariah was missing in action all year, then materialized with that silvery metallic blue dress at an event at the end of the year. I don't understand why people aren't sick of it yet but I saw a lot of comments under the multiple versions that fans are getting annoyed. She also does it to secure a solid sales volume. If you didn't know Shake It Off, then you would miss it every time. This is what MC needs to do for hit song. She needs a R&B slow jam with a 90s SWV or Total interpolation. Also, she said in 2022 that she would be working with a young male singer. I believed that young male singer was Bryson Tiller. He said that he was trying to find the right song in early 2023. 2007 Mariah in the studio is not the same 2024 Mariah in the studio. It seems like she has lost her drive for one reason or another to get a body of work out to her Lambs. I miss the times when she would post on Twitter that she was headed back to N.Y. from Atlanta sequencing the album. We knew that the album was completed after that tweet. Khalid, Latto and Ariana Grande are all newer artists she has delivered throughout the years. Guys, albums aren't in. They don't sell and have a shelf life of one week. It's not happening. The Butterfly Lounge, these new collections of songs, it's all her creating but it doesn't mean it's being packaged as an album in the traditional sense. Max Martin was the biggest surprise as it is the farthest sound Mariah is known for these days. But it was a fresh sound. Let's wait for the Christmas shows, I hear they are going international this year. I just don't want people spending their whole year waiting for a new album when it's clear that she isn't there. Vegas is being branded as a TEOM theme. Setting her up for a big Mimi anniversary next Spring. I do have a feeling she is holding SUD back to see if she's getting into the RRHOF. Also I'm curious to know why this Vegas residency is TEOM themed? What's the significance? It's not a milestone year and if she was going to do a residency eitherways why market it for an album released 19 years ago? Anyways as frustrated as Mariah's business moves make me, I gotta say I'm grateful she doesn't rob the fans like some artists are doing aka Taylor Swift releasing multiple versions of the same album with only 1 exclusive track in each to basically make fans buy 4 "limited edition" versions of the same album. This is on top of the tour, tour merch, tour movie at cinemas, the tour movie rental and now the tour movie streaming. That on top of releasing re-recordings of old albums and there's 2 more to go. No new album in 2024 (105,848) by T from USA I'm hearing that there indeed will be no new album this year. MC16 is nowhere near completion and she doesn't have a label either. For fans that loved MIAMTEC I'm sure when something finally comes it will be in the vein of that album that took time to release (2011-2014). And less like Caution that was all done in a matter of months. Jay Z and Roc Nation lined up ten different producers and Mariah just banged out Caution in record time. MC16 will be more of a personal work that has sit with her for years before release. The question will be if any of the Butterfly Lounge ideas will make it on. The Yes And remix was recorded to hold fans over until Christmas which will be a big 30th anniversary later this year. I hope we get an upbeat r&b/doo wop song from her like Dreamlover and It's a Wrap when she dies come back out. I miss those types of lead singles. I'm glad she is jumping on remixes as this gives her added exposure to a younger audience without any risk. Hopefully artists of the moment will want to duet or ask for a feature. I don't think Heartbreaker could have worked as well as Loverboy. Maybe it was the script change that was apart of the film's delay that caused MC not to even consider Heartbreaker for Glitter. Maybe MC saving it, gave her the genius idea to use Val Young's If You Should Ever Be Lonely for the Junior Vasquez remixes. That interpolation was just a brillant sample idea. Angels Advocate (105,836) by T from USA I think timelines get a little mixed up around this period. Mariah had a miscarriage in the fall of 2008. Heartbroken she was encouraged to go back into the studio and create an album, which ended up becoming Memoirs. So by the time the album came out in the fall of 2009, she was on the promotional road for the album. But unfortunately she talked more about her small cameo in the movie Precious, then she did about her new album. The album didn't meet expectations and had a huge budget that did not make the dollars back at the time so the other two versions were shelved, she got pregnant in 2010 and moved on to a Christmas release in the fall of '10. I think letting Angels Advocate go is something we need to do, as if it was good it would've already seen the light of day in some capacity. I've personally heard ten of the fourteen songs and I can undoubtedly say I like the original solo versions better. (Friday 1 March 2024; 22:14)

Told ya (105,819) by T from USA Everyone claiming a Cardi song and just giving up on YAR are in for a big surprise as there is no Cardi B collaboration coming this year. She's releasing a song with Shakira on March 22nd and a solo song as well. We as fans need to focus on the things that actually happen like a collaboration with the biggest streaming artist currently in Ariana Grande. Getting YAR into the top 10 would've done wonders for the song and set Mariah up with something new to perform in Vegas. Something current and relevant. We were so close to that credit, so close to a top 10 for our MC. The remix was Mariah's new song to hold us over until Christmas, but most were too busy looking for the next new song. As for me, I'm going to continue to stream Yes, And remix and enjoy the fact that she was on a current track in 2024. (Thursday 29 February 2024; 22:17)
