Wow. Nicky, I am going to hand over predictions to you from now on. Anna Mae has eaten that piece of cake this time. However, you can't have my special guest star status. Lol.

What is your initial fan story? (102,618) by Robert-Anthony from United States
(Monday 24 April 2023; 01:02)
What fascinated you about MC at any era that compelled you to become a lifetime fan? For me, it was Love Takes Time. Hearing this gem constantly on the radio made me know I was going to be a fan for life.

Legacy (102,614) by Robert-Anthony from United States
(Saturday 22 April 2023; 23:09)
It has to be the most reflective year ever on the board and it is just April. We are her most enduring fans who have responded to this topic today and we really care about MC. It is just worrisome that we have no true indication that new music is coming out. Also, it is out of great concern from us all about her vocal issues, no record label, and how the embarrassment of Nick's 12 children in such a short amount of time has affected MC. I hope that she can rebound quickly to take her legacy to new heights. I believe that she will surprise us all this fall with something other than Christmas music. Fingers are crossed.

Preach Randy. I don't think about AIWFCIY until Mimi says it's time after Halloween.

Maybe an EP or a Maxi Single? (102,602) by Robert-Anthony from United States
(Friday 21 April 2023; 20:13)
Not that I am giving up on MC and will always be a fan, but I have been thinking what other artist can I build up a huge music collection. I just haven't found one definitive artist yet. I thought it was going to be Dua Lipa, but she is too pop for me. I guess I'm leaning more towards Kelky Clarkson [sic] since I have everything that she has released. There is something about the realness in her voice that makes me get into every song on her album. I love her new songs Mine and Me. To conclude, MC will always be my #1 artist, but I am missing new music and being able to open up the insert and read the credits and lyrics. What a treat it was see if her name was before or after the main producer or to see who she collaborated with or who did the background vocals. Maybe she will surprise us in 2024. Half of 24 is 12 and 12 is her lucky number. Lol. Bye bye.

Maybe an EP or a Maxi Single? (102,596) by Robert-Anthony from United States
(Friday 21 April 2023; 02:05)
Apparently, record labels don't think so either. Who would have thought that Mariah Carey would be without record label? Something ain't right with that picture. Where did MC go wrong from 2015- 2019? I don't think that she ever makes the Hot 100 top 10 ever again.

Really? What is going on with Mimi? She can't even do her studio magic anymore. Her voice will never be the same.

Ditto. In order to do it, MC has to forget about aiming for a #1 hit.

Female singers (102,580) by Robert-Anthony from United States
(Wednesday 19 April 2023; 03:10)
One thing that I did notice from 1990-1997 is that Tommy concealed her bi-racial identity in any way that he could. Go back and watch those early 90s performances and interviews, it was hard to tell during those years that MC was bi-racial at least for me. Tommy's oppressive behavior over MC really did something to her emotionally and mentally. MC was never the same woman after 1997.

Female singers (102,567) by Robert-Anthony from United States
(Monday 17 April 2023; 04:35)
Why do female singers seemed to have various career setbacks and have a hard time telling people no more than male singers? From MC to Britney to Ariana to Adele to Toni Braxton, it has happened to them all. They just to seem to have more career problems after a fast ride to success. While male singers from Usher to Kem to Sam Smith to Ed Sherran have more of a balanced approach to their career success. Are female singers pushed harder to become successful at a faster pace than their male counterparts? Looking at Ariana's recent video post of her looking frail and not looking like she did 2 years ago prompted my post. She looks like she is just tired from recording and touring from the past 10 years.

Just wondering (102,561) by Robert-Anthony from United States
(Saturday 15 April 2023; 22:34)
MC was a part of the writing session of Daryl Hall's Help Me Find A Way To Your Heart with Walter A. and Daryl Hall. I am just wondering if there is a duet of the song between MC and Daryl Hall in vault somewhere waiting to be dusted off. The title just sounds more like a duet than what is on his album Soul Alone. If it is, it would be nice to hear it one day. Who knows what can happen. I got my fingers crossed for We're Not Making Love Anymore with Michael Bolton will see the light of day.

Kelly Clarkson (102,557) by Robert-Anthony from United States
(Friday 14 April 2023; 23:37)
Mine and Me are the type of songs that MC should consider recording. Absolutely masterpieces that make you feel and understand how hard the past 3 years have been for Kelly Clarkson. June 23rd is the album release date and I see Grammy nods this year. Have you seen the tracklisting and song titles? Wow.

Lol. Did you see on Twitter yesterday MC posing and being extra for the cameras? Someone on Twitter said that she had too many splashes at dinner. But you have to love our MC, she knows how to work a camera. I say let her have her fun when she is out on a night on the town.

Yes, I am bored. Maybe it is now time after all these years to sign with Warner Brothers (she chose EMI/Virgin 23 years ago) and get this new era started already. It is almost like she is making us wait on purpose. By the way, my Butterfly 25th Anniversary vinyl box came in the mail this past weekend. The packaging is her best yet.

One cover to consider (102,525) by Robert-Anthony from United States
(Tuesday 11 April 2023; 00:48)
MC has been really successful with covering famous hit songs. She has to cover a song that is gonna grab the world's attention. So, this one song came to my mind that would fit MC's current voice perfectly. The song is Rolls Royce's [sic] Love Don't Live Here Anymore. MC could put her own spin on it with a huge choir moment from Tye Tribbet and G.A.

The Beautiful Ones (102,520) by Robert-Anthony from United States
(Monday 10 April 2023; 02:17)
Does anyone know the real story why Devante Swing of Jodeci was removed as producer on The Beautiful Ones? It was confirmed by Sisqo that he did produce it and is heard on the track doing ad libs.

Just a thought (102,516) by Robert-Anthony from United States
(Saturday 8 April 2023; 21:10)
Singer Melanie Fiona lost her voice some years ago. She could not sing for longer than 30 minutes without going hoarse. One particular doctor asked her if her life had been hard for the past couple of years with some heartbreak or disappointment. She told the doctor yes and he referred her to a Japanese reiki healer. Once she had three sessions with the healer, she was able to let go of all of the trauma that caused her voice problems. Maybe this is what has happened to MC's voice. She has experienced a lot of heartbreak and disappointment during her career especially during the years of 1998-2001, 2003-2005, 2008-2010, 2013-2015, and 2018-2022.

This has to be the most beautiful performance of My All during the Butterfly era. I think this is the only time that she ended My All the way she did. And she looked gorgeous accepting her award.

Article: Track list revealed for Mariah's new album (102,511) by Robert-Anthony from United States
(Saturday 8 April 2023; 12:30)
We can blame Walmart for TAOLG being scrapped. Someone at the retail giant leaked the album title and July 23, 2013 release date. Mariah was pissed and released MIAM less than a year later on May 23, 2014. I believe that Thirsty, $Money, Meteorite, YDKWTD, and Heavenly were recorded after the Wal-Mart leak of TAOLG.

Where are Mariah's songs from the vault? (102,495) by Robert-Anthony from United States

MC has to be working in the studio and just not telling us. I can't imagine she is just letting this year pass her by. She has been unusually quiet this year.

I'll Be Loving U Long Time video (102,488) by Robert-Anthony from United States
(Thursday 6 April 2023; 10:29)
Absolutely a great video and song from our MC. This era will always be one of her best. There were a lot of missteps that we will never no why happened during this era. Maybe we will find out why Migrate wasn't chosen as the 2nd single over the weaker song Bye Bye. Stay In Love Is a great song, but it lacked pop appeal for radio. I'm That Chick or For The Record should have been the 3rd single. One more note, critics panned this era and prompted one critic to say 4 years later that MC got the memo when she released MIAM. Maybe she has been secretly in the studio prepping her second comeback.
