Mr. Tanaka (99,712) by Robert-Anthony from United States
He must be the happiest man on this earth. MC and Tanaka are inseparable. I am happy for them both.

Re: MC16 and up tempo bangers (99,698) (99,700) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Yes. I feel Bongo By The Way is one to put MC back on top. Everybody send a tweet with both of their names. I sent two already.

Whenever You Call mysteries (99,697) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I did some research on Clarence singing background vocals on WYC. My research revealed that he is a reggae singer. How did a reggae singer end up singing background vocals on a Mariah Carey song? I can't hear his background vocals on WYC. Also, why wasn't Brian McKnight allowed to record his vocals in the studio with Mariah? He was very upset by not being able to be in the studio with MC and he labeled her a "little crazy" back in 1997. I wonder what went down when he was told that MC would not be in the studio when he recorded his vocals.

MC16 and up tempo bangers (99,691) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Caution was lacking those up tempo bangers. Listening to Mary J Blige's GMG and I think that I have found the producer who can give MC those up tempo bangers on MC16. His name is Bongo By The Way. He has had some high profile placements in the past 5 years. Check him out on the first three tracks on Mary J. Blige's GMG. He even produced Keyshia Cole's ballad, Vault.

Re: I wonder (99,666) (99,669) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Thank you, Bill. We all need some new MC music to talk about. I think that she is not trying to rush anything this year. I am watching the ABC tv show Promised Land for the next two months until new music. This show has some strong writing with a lot of storyline twists and secrets. Check it out.

Oh, I didn't know that I know this specific post offended you so much. Your voice has been heard Stevie. I will be mindful of your feelings and stop posting so much. I am sorry for hurting you.

And You Don't Remember (99,647) by Robert-Anthony from United States
No one ever talks about this song. Why? This song was my heartbreak song in 1992.

Re: Mariah cover songs (99,642) (99,644) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Bill, you are such Mariah historian. You should write a book about her discography.

I wonder (99,639) by Robert-Anthony from United States
We all know that Mariah likes to record at night. I wonder has she always been that way. She really didn't talk or post pictures about it until around the TEOM area. I wonder did Tommy allow her to record at night during their marriage. The Dream said that she had him working like a slave. JD couldn't spend more time with Janet because of recording with MC. It is definitely obvious that her voice works and sounds better at night. Remember the epic #Beautiful whistle notes failure on Good Morning America in 2013. The look on Miguel's face was like "C'mon baby, you got this." Lol. I wish that I could post the video.

Thank you, RL. I forgot to mention WBT remix of Peter Rauofer's Reconstruction Club mix. Pure perfection.

Re: Lusty McListface (99,629) (99,632) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Melt Away. Oh, how I wished she had performed this song live with Melanie Daniels, Cindy Mizelle, The Price Sisters and Trey. The background vocals that MC did are probably her best in arrangements.

Anytime You Need A Friend has some crazy vocals and scatting.

Possible MC16 topics (99,626) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Numerous events have happened in MC's life since 2019. It is really hard to say what she will talk about on MC16. Maybe she will talk about motherhood, Nick's current situation, NYE's debacle, Crustella or even Tanaka. I am hoping that she goes back to stronger lyrics and not too many samples. I would love a piano ballad duet that she sings with a hot male or artist right now like Lucky Daye (Over) or J Howell (Something About Ya). I wouldn't mind a Neptunes or Pharrell only collaboration. He can create some hot beats by himself that are infectious like Summer Walker's Dat Right There. Oh well, only time will tell. Happy Friday everyone.

MC is going to come back hard this year and have all of us jumping for joy. Just wait and see. My predictions are out there on Twitter.

Re: Nick Cannon (99,604) (99,606) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Mariah said in Faded "Always somewhere, but not there for me." She recognized that something was going on with Nick during their marriage that he couldn't stay at home and be a true husband. He has the papa was a rolling stone syndrome. He is probably bipolar as well.

Re: Nick Cannon (99,601) (99,603) by Robert-Anthony from United States
His 65th birthday party is going to be a huge family reunion with all of his grown kids and grandchildren. I wish that he would take some time and record a new album. His last album was a great party CD.

Re: New era excitement and anticipation (99,591) (99,594) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I just feel like MC has heard all of us and she is going to deliver this year on wax. However, I feel that she will never be able replicate the recording during a live performance without lip syncing and a backing track. She has lost her stage presence and the vocals needed to deliver a great vocal performance.

Yours ft. Justin Timberlake (99,579) by Robert-Anthony from United States
One of my followers said that they doubt it that we will ever here [sic] the Yours remix. I don't believe that.

Re: MC hard at work (99,563) (99,567) by Robert-Anthony from United States
That's the way I feel too, Edward. I want new music. I hope that is why she moved to Atlanta to work with other producers and songwriters besides JD and Bryan-Michael Cox. This could be her summer since Rihanna is probably going to drop R9 in the fall. Beyonce will probably wait until the fall too. I am sure MC can compete with Normani, Ella Mai, and K. Michelle this summer. Lol. Just put the anniversary and other projects in her store for the fall.

Just based on how she recorded MIAM and had it completed by May in 2013. And that's just the way we do it down here in the A. Lol. She could have stayed in L.A. or New York if she wasn't going to work hard to get MC16 completed.

MC hard at work (99,561) by Robert-Anthony from United States
MC arrived in Atlanta yesterday. She posted a video on Twitter. She will be working hard for the next five months. We ain't got long now before new music comes out. And MC sounded so good on the video.

Janet documentary (99,559) by Robert-Anthony from United States
The Janet Jackson documentary is really good and revealing. Janet's story is told from a place of vulnerability and rebirth. I hope that MC can get to a place in her life and just let her story be told - the good and bad. Just to hear MC tell her story her way would be such an introspective rebirth.
