"Free Guy" trailer with Fantasy (94,354) by Nick from Belgium A few months, before Covid-19, I posted it for the first time, but no one reacted to that post about the use of Fantasy in the "Free Guy" trailer with Ryan Reynolds. Re: Listening to Glitter (93,716) (93,735) by Nick from Belgium You have a very good point Joachim. An sich was Glitter (the album) not that bad. The songs by itself were also fine, maybe as in whole not that cohesive as the Daydream album (which is my all time favorite). Here in Belgium she was never that popular by the public opinion. She get lots of disrespect by her reputation and her (too) sexy/trashy clothing style. I remember when it was 2001 and Loverboy came out. The video was few times a day on the popular tv-channels like MTV. It was embarrassing to watch, especially when my parents walked in the room. It was indeed way too sexy or as you said it: trashy. This was not the classy Mariah we knew. Honey and The Roof were a perfect example of a decent sexy Mariah. But the "girl-next-door" look from the Daydream era is my favorite. Mariah didn't need to be "sexy to sell", she had proven the past decade more times that you can sell music without showing her body. I know that she wasn't allowed by Tommy Mottola, but the point is that it worked like that. It's the voice that counts, not the looks. The best promotional line from the comeback campagne in 2005 was: "The return of the voice" with her silhouet above it. That worked perfectly. And for last: look at her live show in the early until middle '90s and you see what I mean. Just Mariah, a live band, backing vocals and sometimes a choir. It was heaven. Only music and her voice. The audience at that time were the luckiest fans of Mariah in my honest opinion. Her shows were perfect like that. It's perfectly fine to reinvent yourself to maintain relevant, but she didn't do it always right. I hope she stays classy as her younger self, with the confidence of her older self. Those two Mariahs combined can make her still the best until the end of time. (Wednesday 22 April 2020; 13:47)

Re: 19th No 1 (91,715) (91,718) by Nick from Belgium That would be great. I hope she and her team use the momentum of the AIWFCIY buzz. She's on top now, it is now that they should make a move and launch her into 2020. Maybe a new uptempo, only Mariah song. No rap collabs. Something like "Dreamlover", "Fantasy", "Emotions", "Touch My Body" or "Always Be My Baby"-ish song. Only pure Mariah. No ballad, we know she can sing the lungs out of her chest. Just a feel good uptempo song. Which makes you happy to hear, to celebrate. (Tuesday 17 December 2019; 14:25)

Free Guy trailer with support of Fantasy (91,713) by Nick from Belgium I was very surprised when I heard this familiair song in the trailer of the upcoming movie Free Guy. One of my favorit songs all time (instant happiness) from my favorite MC-album ever. Let us all hope that 2020 becomes the next golden era for Mariah Carey. It would be a great 30th anniversary for her career. What are your thoughts about the Fantasy sample in the trailer from the upcoming movie Free Guy? (Tuesday 17 December 2019; 11:22)

Without You Madison Square Garden (91,708) by Nick from Belgium This version is even better than the official released one. I think Without You deserves to be a number 1 hit on the Billboard 100. It was the first no. 1 hit in Belgium for Mariah and probably in lots of other countries too. It is weird it didn't get the no. 1 spot in the US. (Tuesday 17 December 2019; 05:10)

Free Guy - 2020 - AIWFCIY - Daydream - magnum opus (91,706) by Nick from Belgium While we all are celebrating the no 1 (in 25 years of progress) we cannot forget the incredible use of Fantasy in the trailer of the future movie "Free Guy". Coming in 2020, 25 years after the release of Fantasy. Lets make Fantasy no. 1 for a second time. It's a great song and it embarks the first signs of the liberation of Mariah Carey. Even though I am still into "classic Mariah", 1995 is the start of something very important in music history and MC's private life. Let's hope Mariah and her team will use the power of 25 years of AIWFCIY for one of her greatest music year ever (1995-1996 era is my favorite era in the MC universe). Fantasy - Underneath the Stars - One Sweet Day - Always Be My Baby - Long Ago - Melt Away - Forever - Daydream (Interlude) - Looking In. Everyone is always talking about the magnum opus "Butterfly", I rather think it is "Daydream". And ironically it is something real for me. Because I think this album set's everything in motion to "Butterfly". Which is a great album, don't get me wrong. But it's because without the Fantasy we didn't get Honey, a Breakdown, a Sweetheart, a Crybaby, a Heartbreaker and because It's Like That and We Belong Together. (Tuesday 17 December 2019; 03:20)
