Sam Hunt collabo (56,214) by Quaid Long from USA I know this is really out of left field, but as long as we're making suggestions on new directions Mariah can/should go, I think a collabo with Sam Hunt would be amazing. Yes, he's country, but is he really? To me, he's country and so much more. Just read this Billboard article about his hip-hop influences and you'll see why working with Mariah would so awesome. He already covered one of her songs live (and did a brilliant job), and his love for hip-hop would fit it perfectly with her. Plus, a collabo with him is so not an obvious choice for her. It's really just a perfect match, and I wish to God that someone from either camp would read this and at least consider it. (Sunday 23 August 2015; 0:14)

Mariah's best gospel songs (46,961) by Quaid Long from USA Anyone fancy another list? Lol. Anyway, I was thinking last night about how great it would be (somewhere down the road in her career) if Mariah released a full-on gospel album, sort of like Whitney's "The Preacher's Wife" soundtrack, which endures as one of my faves to this day. Mimi's Gospel (working title, haha) could include some of her past gospel tracks, plus some brand new ones (which could include standards, covers, and brand new songs written by her). My favorite Mariah gospel songs thus far (in order): 1. Fly Like a Bird 2. When You Believe 3. Heavenly (NWT/CGUN) 4. I Am Free 5. O Holy Night / O Come All Ye Faithful 5. TBH I'm tired of trying to figure Ms. Girl out lately. No one really knows WTF is going on in her camp, and they're not giving us anything, so I'm just wondering if this is all on purpose. Angie Martinez / new album February 2014? (39,782) by Quaid Long from USA I'm loving all the shade she threw on Idol/Nicki (aka Satan lol) during the Angie Martinez interview. I was surprised she was so blunt ("I hated it!") but still glad she went there. Also, sounds like the new album will drop February 2014 (they kept saying "top of the year" and then she said February 2014). I'm just hoping she gives us another single before then because I feel like unless this one blows up (which, as much as I love it, not sure it will), momentum might dwindle again. New album details (39,683) by Quaid Long from USA Perhaps I'm stating the obvious, but does anyone else have a feeling that she will announce details on the new album very soon after TAOLG comes out on Monday? A few weeks after #Beautiful came out, she announced 7/23 as the release date (and we all know how that turned out, but still).
