Grammys (40,149) by Jeanette from USA I'm watching some of these older Grammys shows on YouTube and it amazed me that Whitney Houston and Celine Dion both have album of the year but Mariah Carey doesn't. The Grammys did Mariah dirty and she deserves to have at least won album of the year for Music Box or Daydream or even The Emancipation Of Mimi. What are your guy's thoughts? The new song (40,057) by Jeanette from USA It sad how an artist like Katy Perry could release an song and it get played, but then again the music industry has an thing against women over 40 and I fear Mariah's time has come and went. (Tuesday 3 December 2013; 23:12)

The tour (39,408) by Jeanette from USA The way I look at it is Mariah isn't going on tour. Remember that she said she was going to go in October. I feel sorry for Mariah, yes she is a talented singer and will always be. Singers like Whitney, Celine, Barbra, Donna and Mariah days seem to be coming to an end. (Saturday 5 October 2013; 19:12)

Number ones (39,174) by Jeanette from USA I feel that the songs on her first album that could have been a number one hit are Vanishing, You Need Me and Prisoner. I feel that on the Emotions album the songs that could have been number one are And You Don't Remember, So Blessed and You're So Cold (which was originally going to be released as the first single). I also find it funny (not in a good way) of how artist like Katy Perry releases a song it goes straight to the top five on the Billboard charts (which for it sound like the song Brave by Sara Bare Lilies). It just doesn't make any sense to me how this could be when she released Beautiful and it only peaked at number 15 on the Billboard 200 chart. (Monday 2 September 2013; 0:25)

Being straight up (39,010) by Jeanette from USA First of all, I was bashing Memoirs. I just don't care for it. I respect Mariah for the artists she is, but I am a brutal honest person. I feel that if you look at Whitney, Celine and Donna, they didn't wear clothes and make songs that you expected an 20 year old to do. The music industry is changing and unless in my opinion Mariah gets with it, I don't see this era being an success. Whitney, Celine and Donna yes, they made not have wrote their songs, but they're successful in their own right. Whitney and Celine both won album of the year (which I believe Mariah should have won with Daydream of TEOM) and Donna is the queen of disco. So to down play these women success to me is an insult. Mariah time is coming up (39,005) by Jeanette from USA I am a fan of Mariah, but I feel she needs to be real. The music industry has changed. If you're not willing to promote your album or singles, then take time out for yourself. She makes songs that I would expect someone half her age to make. Look at Whitney, Celine and Donna, they all are legends in their own right but doesn't try to act younger than their age. Same can't be said for Madonna, who just like Mariah, is trying to compete with artists like Rihanna, who already has 12 number one hits, which is a fact. Whitney released her last album I Look To You to commerical success because she wasn't trying to beat what was out and though her voice wasn't there, she was still able to make a good album. I couldn't even listen to half of Memoirs, there wasn't anything special on that album. If she wants to be an r&b artist, she should make an album like Emotions or Daydream and Butterfly. They were crossover appeals. I have the courage to say she needs to grow up or her career will start to crash down. (Thursday 15 August 2013; 20:53)

Mariah needs to get real (39,000) by Jeanette from USA Mariah, Whitney, Celine and Donna to me are women who can sing but it's a shame that the music industry is being overshadowed by Gaga, Katy and Taylor. The songs to me that Mariah Carey should have released would be And You Don't Remember and You're So Cold and So Blessed. I love the Emotions album. Whitney Houston in an rare video was saying how she loves Mariah Carey and even singing a part of Vision Of Love. I feel that yes Mariah has changed over time, but she to me has lost a part of her. Once upon a time she released an album with no problems, now these days it seem as it is hard to get an album off the ground. I think Mariah should just fade away and stop releasing these unsuccessful songs. (Wednesday 14 August 2013; 16:49)
