About Stacey from USA: Been a fan since 1993. Favorite albums include Daydream, TEOM, and Music Box. I love a good discussion, but won't stand for hateful comments because we disagree. Ok? I'm too old to deal with drama and so are you. Keep it real with me and we'll have some fun. Peace.

Jazz (105,721) by Stacey from USA
I hope so. Songs like Lullaby of Birdland and Nevertheless fit her current voice so well.

Like I said in an earlier post, I could care less what another person thinks about me. Their opinions do not define what kind of fan I am. I decide that. My 30 years of loyalty decide that.

This is what we asked for (105,656) by Stacey from USA
Because she's always chosen charts and hits above anything else? Clearly you've conveniently forgotten I Don't, Crapfinity, Save the Day, etc. Oh wait, those don't count. They were buzz singles. Sorry, my bad.

SNL (105,655) by Stacey from USA
Mad here? That depends. It depends on if the collaboration steers toward the WAP Cardi B with MC running around in a bathing suit once again. No thanks. That's so beneath Mariah's legend status. Now I'd it's a fun bop aka Fantasy, Heartbreaker, Crybaby, etc then yeah, I'm all for it.

I don't understand peoole from this board (105,654) by Stacey from USA
It's why I don't take anything said here too seriously. At the end of the day I have been an MC fan for 30 years. I don't need to prove anything to anyone. I'll always love her music. Saved me on many occasions. Carey on.

And add her take on Nevertheless (I'm in love with you). Now that music is timeless.

I like Yes And. Do I think it has the same magic, wow factor that a Jay-Z collab did with Heartbreaker? No. But I ain't mad at it. It's a huge step up from I Don't, Save the Day, etc.

Stacey and Robert (105,594) by Stacey from USA
I get it. I take my breaks too, just unannounced. I miss Stephen's posts. Remember him. Anyway, for me coming here is a break from madness that is life as a wife, working mom of three. I enjoy the banter then go back to that craziness as those peeps are most important to me. I don't take anything here too seriously or remember what happened six months ago. It ain't that deep. Carey on.

Yes, And? lyrics (105,555) by Stacey from USA
I'll just say this: Drop the sh-word and f-word in a your next job interview and see if they hire you. I've never understood the need to use cuss words.

Speaking personally, I've had nothing but positive things to say about Yes? And. Just drop the cuss words. They serve no purpose.

Yes, And? lyrics (105,535) by Stacey from USA
I'm a 46 year old adult who doesn't care for profane-laced lyrics. Spare me the "it's art" argument. It's an old and often overused reason to justify such unnecessary decisions. The song is just fine without it. Why add it? Makes zero sense to me.

Agreed. I like Yes, And? It definitely doesn't have the same magic as Vogue or Dreamlover. But I ain't mad at it. It's nice to see MC get the love and respect she deserves.

I like the song. It's got 90s retro vibe all over it and I am totally on board, minus the cuss words. Ugh, someone find me a clean remix version. Stat. But, I digress. Given her last couple of songs (remember I Don't, Crapfinity, Save the Day), I'd say this is a huge improvement. Hopefully a new album continues in this direction.

Yes? And remix (105,465) by Stacey from USA
I really like the song. MC's vocals add a lot to the song. But ugh, the cuss words are so not my thing. They just aren't. They ruin a song. I guess I'll hope for an Amazon music clean version.

Time of release UK (105,460) by Stacey from USA
As always when new MC music is released, I am hopeful. In the meantime I am loving Music Box all over again. My first song heard was Hero. First album bought was MB. I got the 3CD set in the mail a few days ago. I love what MC wrote about the album. It was released during troublesome times in her personal life. But she also recognizes the album is an important part of her career development, an important part of her life, even if it was during the Tommy years.

Mariah coming to Grammy's main event? (105,264) by Stacey from USA
I was wrong. You were right. See, I can admit I'm wrong. Once in a while, lol. Not a huge fan of Miley Cyrus, but I did love her fangirling all over MC. And Mariah's look? Wow. Just wow. Now that is how you make an entrance.
