About Stacey from USA:
Been a fan since 1993. Favorite albums include Daydream, TEOM, and Music Box. I love a good discussion, but won't stand for hateful comments because we disagree. Ok? I'm too old to deal with drama and so are you. Keep it real with me and we'll have some fun. Peace.

I remember when I got my hands on a TEOM song full of snippets of each track. I about fell over in excitement. I love a good mystery. Makes the discovery that much sweeter.

But back then (although I wasn't a lamb back then I was a baby) she would be releasing a new album every year or every other year, at this point I'm dying for new music hahah it's been what 5 years since Caution. I was thinking the other day I hope this is TEOM part 2 for Mariah's career. If Memoirs was Rainbow parallel (I'm not saying song wise, but like career history wise since both didn't perform as well) then MIAM was Glitter parallel, Caution would be Charmbracelet parallel, and Big Energy is IKWYW parallel and then new album would be the return of Mimi. Fingers crossed.

Kinda reminds me of a conversation Carrie Bradshaw had with Mr.Big. She walks up to him and says, "You look good, Hubble." Mr.Big responds, "I don't get it." Carrie replies, "And you never did." You still don't get it, lol. Saying you don't want to get to know me is still very judgmental. Still making judgements off what I said without knowing the context behind them because we have never met in person. I always stand by my statements. Andrew thought he "got me good" and my reply was I stand by my statements. Nothing I've said on this topic has been anything but that. So I'm glad you will scroll past my posts. We finally agreed on something. Carey on.

You're absolutely right about one thing. I don't know you and you don't know me. I don't want that either or you'd already know my name and face. I'm a very private person in my life and choose my friends carefully. I prefer to be called nameless and faceless than to get to know you. And there won't be a next time since I'll be scrolling right past your posts, Bill's who likes to put words in my mouth and Edward's and we all know why. At least stand by your words you post and not gaslight people. I'm just repeating what you guys post. You're welcomed. Muah.

Incapable? Wow, judge much? There you go again making judgements about people you don't know. Interestingly enough, you don't see me judging you, calling you incapable of whatever. Why? All I see is a username and avatar. It would be silly of me to claim I know someone's intentions when I've never met those people in person. You don't know me, my personal experiences with this. So yes, time to move on and maybe judge a bit less next time.

I think Mariah should keep things secretive for now. I don't want to know who she's working with because I want no expectations whatsoever. I just hope the next album knocks my socks off.
As far as the "woke" topic, I will just have to let it go. There's no reasoning with people who are incapable of putting themselves in others' shoes or lack empathy altogether. Besides, you can't tell them nothing if they already know everything.

Dave Rubin (gay married to his husband), Gays against groomers, and Becky Weiss are three of my favorites pages/people to follow on Instagram. Oh the "gay Republican guy" page is funny too. I could care less what you do in your personal lives. But when a guy with the deepest voice says he's a woman like me? Nah, that's where I have a problem. What is a woman? A woman is an adult human female, aka me. I don't want my 15 year old daughter peeing next to a dude. Goodness, don't get me started on this madness.

Exactly, they have turned the community into a joke with their 20,000 pronuns and 100+ genders. When you can't define the word woman without using the word woman in the defnintion, you know our society is on its way to the toilet. When people now entertain reducing women to being chestfeeders, vagina havers, pregnant people, birthing people just to accommodate some and in the name of inclusion, you know we're effed up. When you have trans women with obviously bigger lungs, hearts and stronger physiques regardless of how long they've been on testosterone supressants, oblitarating women sports, we know misogyny is rampant, yet we're all grouped together with this madness. I love and respect women, and I'll be damned the day I refer to a woman as anything other than a woman. One can never reason with insanity, let alone meet insanity in the middle. The community had reached a very stable middle, until some wanted more and more and more. Now, trans women are not trans women, they are real women. I'm so glad people are starting to push back.

So it's okay to go around spreading hate? I see you are like minded too. It's one extreme versus another. Why can't we just meet in the middle? I'm not saying I agree with the woke movement but there's something to be said about basic human decency lacking. Just let people live their own lives and mind your own business, not you Stacey, but in general. I don't expect everyone here to agree or even understand. One might have to be persecuted for just being different and I don't know anyone here or their background. I will say it's usually Republicans that do the same stuff in hiding that they complain about. Then they get caught and it's all over the news. Go on, deny it. I'll wait.

For me personally, I'd like songs in the vein of Memorized, Meteorite, Nevertheless (I'm in love with you). Add maybe a fun song in the vein of YDKWTD or Cool On You. Still irks me the former song wasn't released and given proper promotion off MIAM. But I digress. Oh my how I can't stop listening to Nevertheless and only hope she will record a studio version. That's the kind of quality music I want to see. At this point I don't care if she tops the charts. Her legacy is cemented in time. Just put our quality music that says I'm a legend often imitated never duplicated.

I'm confused what people are asking, do you want Mariah to have another [hit] that resonates with young listeners, or try and reignite the fire that was the holy trinity of the '90's (Mariah, Whitney, Celine)? I want Mariah to have a smash dance hit that breaks her mold. We talk about how [Charmbracelet] walked, so TEOM could sprint. I have the same feeling about Caution. it was a precursor to what we will experience next.
On a different note, who said "no one expected Mariah to speak like that" in regard to GTFO? GTFO, and the [remix] she's on for Unforgettable ("Sip on this drink 'till I'm [censored] up"), even "Clown" from [Charmbracelet] ("I should've never given you my [censored] two way") she sings the "f-word". Mariah's success is based on her versatility. Christmas to f-bombs. I personally love it.

It's a good thing that you guys are opening your eyes in some parts of Europe, especially about protecting children from the madness that's going on here. They're like a cult, they want justice, equality and inclusion as long as your part of the clan, if you're not, the love, inclusion and equality turn into canceling, doxxing hatred. Some of them even cringe and start crying.

The 24 year old would agree with you a 100%. When I started posting online with the old MC.com pink boards (during Charmbracelet) I used to get so hot and bothered if someone attacked me, called me names, etc. I took their words so personally. I would get anxiety attacks over what some online person would say back to me. The now 46 year old me doesn't care. I'm not as strong as you think I am, though I do appreciate your words. Maybe it's an age thing. I've learned to not let what someone says online, who I've never met, affect me. I don't deal in "what if". I don't care about what if Andrew or any faceless, nameless online person here says to me. That's not a diss to anyone. It's just reality. You can't really know someone unless you meet them in person, which is why I could care less what an online personality says about me. They don't know me. I hope I'm making sense, lol.

Stacey you clearly are a strong soul and wise. I admire your resilience, however I do understand what everyone is talking about when they say they get affected. Not everyone has the same strength and a lot of us have been straight up bullied by him, called names, all for having a passion for Mariah's music. While I let most things slide sometimes a few things are triggering. Were all adults here (some may not behave like it lol) but when people are out here calling you a c u next Tuesday, and lord knows what else Eric had to censor it does trickle into your personal life. There could be other things people are dealing with and the last thing they need to be is bullied on a message board and that's why easier to just take breaks and come back hoping for the best.

Kardashian vs. Stella (104,994)
by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
| |
|

Some people just argue to argue (and for attention). If Stella did such a wonderful job with Mariah's career why didn't any other A list celebrity hire her? She had no big celeb client (except for TI for his reality show) before or after. This woman also stole from Mariah, isolated her by surrounding her with only her family members (she's running her business, her cousin is running her accounts, her daughter running social media), got her on a tacky (visibly scripted) reality series (I know most are scripted but not this obvious), had Mariah publicly and in the show, be seen high as a kite and going into pot scores (she may do all these in private but I've never seen her openly talk about it as she wants to maintain a Mary Poppin's image). Later when she was kicked out she accused her of sexual assault. Yet here we are, our supposed only lamb in the world with the big brains thinks Stella was the best thing that happened to Mariah.

At least she is not friends with Tiffany Haddish. We all know the mess she is in right now. When you have money you have to align yourself with others who will help elevate you to the next level. Maybe MC likes Kim because she has stability and a business like mind. Despite all that Ye has taken her through, she still has provided stability for her kids. I am sure MC has noticed how Kim has held her family together to help her stay grounded for Roc and Roe despite Nick's other children were in the news so much for the past two years. Kim Kardashian is pretty to look at. I think that she has gained lots elegance and sophisication since she has become older.

Miss Stacey, as you are a most learned and noble educator - one, undoubtedly, of the highest order - you, ostensibly, must have gone completely, raving mad. For "Songs in the Key of MC" features only dance and pop music to exclusion of all jazz and dreary R&B.
There is, however, to be a secret, hidden bonus track featuring contributions from people who love jazz and dreary R&B. It's called "Salty Tears".

And that's why I don't refer to MIAM as a whole album a mess. Even when an album as a whole isn't a favorite of mine, I'm always grateful it was released because of those songs I loved. The label dropped the ball but I'll give MC a break on this one. I won't begin to speculate what the breakdown of her marriage did to her emotionally. Divorce is tough no matter who you are.

I love me some Eddie. But how can something of which there are rumours be a surprise?
Stacey is correct using the word "mess" but it should refer to the entire project. Everything about it was created or handled in a fashion unbecoming a supposed international superstar. That being said, there are some great melodies and vocals on MIAM.
Personally, I believe Triumphant Pulse Remix, Almost Home, The Art of Letting Go and You Don't Know To Do are pretty special. I encourage Mariah to make her next record an upbeat dance record. Don't nobody need another Cautionary tale that will disappear in a fraction of the time it takes to create.

I like Me I Am Mariah, if she used just MIAM. When she added the EC mess, that's when she lost me. Songs in the Key of MC is fire.

I don't believe anyone was calling her that. Except for her. She liked the way it sounded so created a narrative. If anyone has information to the contrary, I'm all ears.
"Me. I Make Things Up... Eternally Chatshit." It was such an awful album title with a cartoon cover, and with vocals so engineered that it's difficult to listen to.
The Art of Letting Go as an album title was great. As was the song itself, save for the kitchen window lyrics.
"Songs in the Key of MC" is gonna blow us out the water.

Have a day off, would you? Pretty sure I posted recently celebrating Mariah's 93-weeks at Number One. Oh wait, that's right, I did.
I hope for your sake you're hot, honey. Because with a personality like that, you're gonna need to be. Good luck.
