About Stacey from USA: Been a fan since 1993. Favorite albums include Daydream, TEOM, and Music Box. I love a good discussion, but won't stand for hateful comments because we disagree. Ok? I'm too old to deal with drama and so are you. Keep it real with me and we'll have some fun. Peace.

Andrew (105,031) by Stacey from USA
The 24 year old would agree with you a 100%. When I started posting online with the old MC.com pink boards (during Charmbracelet) I used to get so hot and bothered if someone attacked me, called me names, etc. I took their words so personally. I would get anxiety attacks over what some online person would say back to me. The now 46 year old me doesn't care. I'm not as strong as you think I am, though I do appreciate your words. Maybe it's an age thing. I've learned to not let what someone says online, who I've never met, affect me. I don't deal in "what if". I don't care about what if Andrew or any faceless, nameless online person here says to me. That's not a diss to anyone. It's just reality. You can't really know someone unless you meet them in person, which is why I could care less what an online personality says about me. They don't know me. I hope I'm making sense, lol.

See, I don't understand that. I didn't engage any less or more. I posted when I found something I wanted to respond to. I don't let what someone does who I've never met affect what I do in my real life. I don't let someone each affect my choices. To each their own. Carey on.

Kardashian vs. Stella (104,999) by Stacey from USA
Add to the fact Stella wanted to out Mariah's bipolar condition. Pretty trashy thing to do. Thankfully MC beat her to it and explained things on her own terms.

Andrew got me good. I better run and hide, lol. I have two teenagers in my house and a pre-teen 10 year old. Nothing fazes me these days. I stand by my statements. Next.

K (104,979) by Stacey from USA
Anyone who wants to go to law school gets a high five from me. I remember when she met with Trump to work on reform for minor offences and got a lady pardoned from her prison sentence. Am I huge Kardashian follower? Not really. A sex tape release made Kim relevant. What is their talent? So I have my issues but there is no denying Momma Jenner knows how to play the system.

K (104,978) by Stacey from USA
Wow, calling someone trash because they see differently than you? Not cool. Guess I'm trash too because despite my personal feelings about the Kardashians, the family somehow manages to stay relevant. I wasn't a fan of Benny Medina but he sure knew how to market MC during the TEOM era. I agree with Mimi L on this one.

Duet with Michael Bolton (104,939) by Stacey from USA
For me her voice was so effortless. So strong. So powerful. Maybe that's what Eddie was going for. But yeah, the song by itself is kinda bland. And don't get me started on Michael Bolton. Ugh. He butchers so many good traditional Christmas songs. I just can't with him.

I swear, I would be a billionaire if I were paid a dollar for how many times people have bought up my profession, as if because I teach school that determines everything in my life. Dude, it's my job. That's it.

Mariah needs to freaking record this song and put it on her next album named SITKOMC. Absolutely beautiful rendition.

MC30 (104,827) by Stacey from USA
And that's why I don't refer to MIAM as a whole album a mess. Even when an album as a whole isn't a favorite of mine, I'm always grateful it was released because of those songs I loved. The label dropped the ball but I'll give MC a break on this one. I won't begin to speculate what the breakdown of her marriage did to her emotionally. Divorce is tough no matter who you are.

Obsessed in the UK (104,594) by Stacey from USA
Don't need to ask myself, lol. I am glad SS wasn't the lead single. That's what my last post was trying to say. While I didn't connect with ILT at first, hindsight is 20/20. MC was wise to get everyone excited with a bouncy song than blow us away with what made her so successful to begin with.

I had the same issue with ILT. The whole concept of the song didn't make sense to me. That is until WBT was released. Here we go now. Let's go now. Silence. Then WBT started and the rest is history.

Article: Mariah Carey stops by Library of Congress (104,578) by Stacey from USA
No teacher of mine in the 1990s wore that. I'm a teacher now and I don't wear that, lol. I should clarify my post. MC looked beautiful and covered up. Just proves she can wear age appropriate clothing and still look stunning.

I think MC could have recorded the phone book for her debut album and been successful. Her voice was so amazing and so unheard of at the time. She truly is a once in a generation artist.
