A fan since 1990. Favorite Mariah quotes, "It doesn't matter how I look, if I'm singin..." & "I can't even know what to say." I love R&B and Hip Hop, but I listen to any genre of music as long as the song is great. Love saaaanger/songwriters. I'm not a "yes" fan but I do give credit when its due.

Edward, you jumped into my post, not vice versa. Which is something you have a habit of doing because your [sic] desperate for attention and love to spread negativity. There is a difference between calling you out on your bs and attacking you. I never attacked you or called you names yet you are accusing me of smoking crack. Since you want to accuse me of attacking you, how about this. Come for me again and I have more for you. Giving one's opinion and being intentionally shady or two different things. Oh and that's just my opinion, so you shouldn't get your little feelings hurt. Boop. Lol.

And here comes Edward wanting to get into a conversation that has nothing to do with him to foster more back and forth between Ribbon and I. Push on Edward, find some attention elsewhere. I know you love to throw shade and it looks like your attempt to recruit the final foursome for your Mean Girls Clique is complete. Why don't you, the Nutty Professor, the English Ragamuffin, and your new recruit make your own fan hate site. I don't need you trying to come braid my hair, respect social distance guidelines and keep your Omarion to yourself please.

I didn't ask for your feedback or anyone else's. I was just sharing for those that might be interested. Y'all so sad and negative here. Find some happiness. If you want to join the Negative Nancy Clique go right ahead but don't come over here with it.

You need some attention that bad TJ from Norway? There is giving your opinion and there is being just plain negative. If you want to bash and be shady, don't respond to my posts. Mind the business that pays you.

Because it not only shows her past interviews but interviews from other people. Again, you shouldn't judge something you didn't watch. Docs are typically for non fans as most fans already know everything there is to know. This doc pieces everything together nicely. Kanye has a doc on Netflix. Why can't Mariah?

Side note Ribbon, if you are going to be negative, catty, and shady, I prefer you refrain from responding to any of my posts. Just keep scrolling. I'll do the same for yours. Be blessed.

You didn't even watch it Ribbon. Don't judge until you actually watch. How is she not interested when she is currently working on a film adaptation of her life - lol. This doc actually includes interviews from each time frame and audio from her book.

I've been waiting for the YouTube channel realizing the dream to work on, finalize and post this part. This was a very well put together piece of work that should be on Netflix. Wish Mariah's people would get behind it, support the creator and get it on a steaming network. It would be a nice precursor to her movie/mini series on her memoir. Here is the link for anyone that wants to watch it.

She needs a new album full of uptempo songs. I heard Mays' album and you are right, Bongo by the way's tracks are stand outs. I love Here With Me Fest Anderson Paak. Can you image MC writing something hot over that beat. He also produced Love Will Never. Another favorite. London on the track is another wish list producer of mine. He tweeted Mariah when she released GTFO to produce her next single (she needs to take him up on the offer). He produced Failing In Love on Marys' new album which screams single with that soul sample. Is very Mary-esque. She needs to work with both of these producers asap.

Her band live in Atlanta so she bought a house there so they can jam together and make music. The first Butterfly Lounge was in Atlanta where I think the Butterfly Lounge project was primarily filmed. When she was having trouble finding a place there she mentioned it in passing to Tyler Perry and he found her a home same day.

In her book she said when she renegotiated her deal to leave Sony she was required to give them a greatest hits album. That's why by the time they finally released it after she left she barely promoted it.

But Forbes isn't a chart magazine, so why discuss the song dropping from the charts after the holiday season. Why not discuss all of the lucrative deals and financial power the song has managed to give an artist 30 years into their career. Not everyone has that. The song is an anomaly and has grown bigger than Mariah herself. The fact that each year it gets bigger and bigger should be looked into. Not the obvious chart performance after the season. Do we need an article telling us that? It's just common sense no? Just my thoughts.

Yes but usually the top three slots are Christmas tunes and the same thing happens to them as well. But no mention of them. Mariah tends to get bashed unfairly with these articles. It's pointless because of course if it's a seasonal song it's going to disappear after the season, it's common sense. Do we really need an article about it. I would think Forbes would be focused on writing an article of the finances this song brings her each year with all of the multiple deals her team sets up surrounding the song's popularity each Christmas.

@Will. Thank you. At least someone else agrees. I say remix and revamp as many of your old songs as you want. It's not like we are getting new albums every other year. I want more music. Preferably new music but I'm good with waiting as timing is everything. And let's say the remix's come out horrible. They are going to come and go with a blink of an eye. The album versions are still accessible for all to enjoy. The remixes might be part of the masterclass she is doing this year that focuses on writing and producing.

@Bill. She is promoting it so why wouldn't it be. She's wearing the same dress she wore while doing all her virtual press for it. She didn't have to bother with the fans but she did anyway. Not sure why this is so bad and everyone is thumbing up the diss instead of the video. Wierd [sic].

It's really cool that she did this recently. Taking advantage of technology to still reach out to fans virtually can really make someone's day. Kind of excited to see what this The Roof mix is going to give.

Vogue - top 17 looks (99,325) by RJJ12 from USA

This was fun to watch. I like how she didn't trash her earlier looks and instead looks at the pictures fondly enjoying the enormity of what each moment in time represented for a once in a lifetime career like hers. It's sad to hear a lot of her iconic dresses are stolen. Wonder if it's the same people who stole the demo tape she when asked about it in an interview while promoting Caution. Her best look is the 2018 Golden Globes. Just the right amount of sexy, classy, and old Hollywood perfectly balanced out. Did Mariah say her Christmas Continues dress had too much cleavage all while displaying cleave? I thought the same thing btw. A change perhaps? Lol.

Interesting that Mariah revealed that she met with a former record exec who she used to work with to have talks regarding management. Does this mean she is leaving Range Media? Or is this person responsible for day to day management while Range works on bringing in deals and creating the promotional campaigns for all her projects? Any thoughts who it could be? LA Ried? Lyor? What other record execs have been over Def Jam while she was signed to them. Thoughts? She has The Butterfly Lounge concept she is trying to pitch to steaming services in the works, new music, reworkings of old songs, the film adaptation of her book, a children's book/series, and the re-release of Someone's Ugly Daughter with a young girl/actress singing the songs. It will be interesting how all these projects will roll out and what the promotional campaign will be. Will any of these projects be released simultaneously? I did like that her current team had her do like 100 virtual interviews with tons of outlets all over the world for 2021s Christmas campaign. When was the last time she did an interview for the Philippines, Brazil, Mexico etc. it really is a global business world now and hitting all your markets virtually is a no brainer.

@Bill I was referring to Barbara [sic]. She def had a nose job. A subtle, tasteful one but she def had one (or more) - lol. When you get a nose job they don't go obstructing the air passages. The main reason for any nose surgery is to help with breathing. Not just cosmetic. It's just now become more common that it's done for cosmetic reasons than to help with breathing. Here is an article that further discusses my vantage point.

@Ribbon. None of that is opinion based. Rhinoplasties help with breathing. Here is another article specifically discussing that alcohol dries out the chords and will render one incapable of hitting high notes.

And I don't like Morgan either. I think he is a horrible human being for selling out his sister's secrets to [...] for a couple dollars just because she cut him off, but nothing he has said has been a lie (yet and that can be proven one way or another). He was right in regards to her bi polar diagnosis, and I'm shocked she didn't sue him for releasing her PHI (personal health information). I may not have been as nice as her, but I understand that the stress of a lawsuit just isn't worth it.

@TJ from Norway. [Barbra] may have said that but it's not true. Unless you get a Michael Jackson nose where they make it so small, air can't pass through, no plastic surgeon is going to cause an obstruction of the airways. Plus [Barbra] did her a nose job. It's just not that noticeable because it was a very tasteful one. Google [Barbra] Streisand nose job and there are plenty before and after photos of a slightly shorter nose. Lol. Don't believe these celebrities when they say they will never get work done. They all have, do, and will continue to because they are in the limelight.

@Randy. Glad you are back. It's funny because I am saying the same exact thing you are. And it's not a theory, it's fact. It's been chronicled throughout her career. People blaming it on a nose job which does not affect the chords or a boob job. If that was the case, then Toni Braxton would have lost her voice. Whitney got a boob job too and she didn't lose her voice lol.
