About RJJ12 from USA: A fan since 1990. Favorite Mariah quotes, "It doesn't matter how I look, if I'm singin..." & "I can't even know what to say." I love R&B and Hip Hop, but I listen to any genre of music as long as the song is great. Love saaaanger/songwriters. I'm not a "yes" fan but I do give credit when its due.

Re: Mariah (92,625) (92,630) by RJJ12 from USA
I already posted the video with receipts that it was Michael's former handler that orchestrated his death. Michael fired him because he didn't trust him 6 months to a year prior to that last gig yet days before his death his signature was all over documents acting as Michaels handler behind his back.

Ribbon, one of my favs but I have to disagree. It's very follow the leader on the board sometimes so the same bitter privileged girls on the board start their trolling because they obviously are so unhappy with their lives. My advice to those girls, find a real career. I mean now we are calling books that aren't even out until third quarter flops over a title that obviously went way over their head (simple b.t@&e$). It's a book, is it really that deep? Let it flip flop and disappoint I say so the girls can rant. Muah.

Re: Charmbracelet singles (92,310) (92,320) by RJJ12 from USA
Here in the States You Got Me should have led the album. Ballads out of style and songs like Fat Joes's What's Luv (uptempo hip hop records with r and b hooks) was pouring out of the radio. Plus she had Jay Z on the song. I remember it was one of the songs playing on her website. Clown should have been the second single to build on the controversy of her and Obsessed short lived fling. They could have went with the One or Sorry You Had You're Chance as the third and final singles. Overseas they got it right with Through the Rain and Bringing On The Heartbreak were both pop ballads. Then they could have finished with Yours.

He was a character that Isaac. Six years already? I remember his exit post but I got him semi confused with the other lamb that gave Mariah the diamond necklace on Mariah's World and then started posting here. Didn't he go off on you as well Eric? I feel like it's been three zealot lambs that have done this to you at the very least. Anyway I'm sure they are all back in some form or another.

Charmbracelet Vocals: A Mood (92,174) by RJJ12 from USA
I always crack up when I see this clip. It took two vocalists to do it but it pretty much sums up Charmys vocal approach. Still the best album lyrically. For laughs.

Re: Madonna accuses BBC of ageism (92,151) (92,173) by RJJ12 from USA
Maybe the article wasn't simple enough for you because you proved my point. If they don't give a record a shot and play it for the public to decide if it's a hit or not, how can they really say that their demographic doesn't like her music? She was 50 when 4 Minutes went number 1 in the UK. I'm sure they had no problems playing her then even though she was way beyond their demographic. Didn't you say in an earlier posts that age isn't a factor to older artists getting played yet you quoted my very point from the article that age is definitely a factor. Which is it? Don't switch up now.

Madonna accuses BBC of ageism (92,148) by RJJ12 from USA
Ima leave this right here. Funny how Madonna and her manager, who are in the industry, state differently than people's imagination around here.

Re: Mariah, Celine and Toni for 2020 (92,019) (92,033) by RJJ12 from USA
I read about the Louie M feature rumor as well. Would've been a great single during the Latin explosion in 99 especially since Whitney nabbed a duet with Enrique Iglesias during this same period. Maybe she wanted to salvage the duet idea and offer it to Toni since she would fit the song perfectly.

Re: Mariah, Celine and Toni for 2020 (91,986) (91,995) by RJJ12 from USA
I was thinking she was going to ask Toni to sing on After Tonight. It was co produced by David Foster and co written by Diane Warren who Toni has already worked with. I think it could have done well with an resung/restructured r&b remix for the urban stations to cover all markets

Re: Mariah, Celine and Toni for 2020 (91,963) (91,985) by RJJ12 from USA
I remember Toni saying in an interview during her last era that Mariah reached out to her around the Rainbow era to do a duet but Toni couldn't do it because of the bankruptcy. Toni also contemplated reaching out to her to do a remix but it looks like it never came to fruition.

Re: Mariah needs hot uptempo song in 2020 (91,934) (91,951) by RJJ12 from USA
Glad I'm not the only one that thinks this. She needs a hot uptempo. I actually would prefer an album of mostly uptempos from her. She's never done that and her discography sorely needs more as she was the ballad queen for the first 4 years of her career. If the label won't cough up the money she should pay for her own hot feat. I want a Drake and Bruno Mars feat if I had my way.

Re: Price Sisters plus Melanie Daniels (91,814) (91,842) by RJJ12 from USA
This would be great but I don't foresee Kelly Price reducing herself to singing backup anyone. Maybe just one Price Sister and Melonie if they are still up for it. Instead of the Price Sisters they could be called MeloPrice?

Re: Walter A. gets really candid (91,828) (91,841) by RJJ12 from USA
How do we know she didn't say thank you? Tommy and Mariah apparently had a twitter exchange where he congratulated her and told her that he wouldn't turn her into Connie Francis. She replied and called him a jokester.

Re: Hoping for work on new album in 2020 (91,835) (91,840) by RJJ12 from USA
I liked the YouTube Q and A. I was surprised that she is in fact already planning new music. I figured it she might not really be into doing another album when the label let the last one die quickly but sending her singles to one or two small radio formats (nothing screams like aging has been that the label doesn’t believe in than adult ac only releases). I was surprised that she shared she had two males in mind that she spoke over the phone with to do collaborations with. I think this new career peak and awesome execution from her new team put some fire under her to try again. I just hope the labels pick the right singles and sends them to all formats, maybe a hot feature with a big artist of the day may be her way of pushing them to do it.

Re: Amazon mini doc (91,597) (91,612) by RJJ12 from USA
There won't be another Walter collabo. He went to the press last Christmas stating Mariah is trying to erase him from history when it come to AIW. He's like I co-wrote the song, yet she clarified before that she wrote the song but shared credits with him as this is a common practice in the music industry among collaborators so that everyone gets a check. He cried about her not approving the song to be licensed as much as he would like and said he expected her to reach out to him eventually to do something for the anniversary. He's a pompous jerk. Why can't he reach out if he wants to be involved? He has dissed AIW in many interviews saying "it's not my favorite song I wrote" and also dissed the melodic structure saying it was basic and feared "real" musicians would diss it which is another swipe at her musicality as we all know she came up with it on her Casio keyboard. So you diss the song lyrics and melody but are mad when she doesn't reference you even though you didn't have much to do with it and are still getting 50% of the profits each year.

Re: AIWFCIY live at Tokyo Dome (91,514) (91,517) by RJJ12 from USA
Hopefully for Daydream's 25th we will finally get the UTS video. Even though it's just a live concert performance and probably won't differ much from the Tokyo Dome performance it would still be cool to see. A re-release would be cool with the addition of Slipping Away and the "Crave" song we heard about. I wonder if she did a decent vocal reference. Would love to hear her versions but we all know she hates playing poor quality versions a la the demo she confirmed via the Genius interview last year.

Bill you are def not one of the three. You’re joke was not with ill intent. I thought it was funny and light hearted. We all joke within reason except the few trolls that post malicious comments wrapped up in comedy.

Re: St John the Divine (91,231) (91,238) by RJJ12 from USA
I see the racist from the UK and Edward are working together again to belittle the St Johns concert audio. I'm sure the 3rd of your clique will follow predictably. Everyone except for you trolls love the audio and the fact that it wasn't dubbed to perfection gives it the live feel we all wanted but didn't expect. It's sad that you all have nothing else going on in your lives to entertain you other than posting bait for likes. I see Edwards response to the racist basically agreeing that the audio was less than amazing with all the likes proves my point.

Eddie I just call em as I see em. You three like to gang up on the zealot posters here because you find them easy targets but people can say some scathing things about Mariah or make racial "jokes" and no one bats an eye because they are fans of the vitrol comments because they get a lot of likes. I hit dog will holler.

Re: Merry a Christmas St Johns performances (90,900) by RJJ12 from USA
If her team is on the ball, they will submit the video format of the concert for a Netflix special during or after thanksgiving. It would be massive. Gaga had her documentary, Beyoncé had her cochella performance, but classic Christmas Mariah performances at her peak would really get a bunch of clicks and more interest in purchasing the deluxe version. Maybe even have an advert of the audio being available on the deluxe before and after the concert footage. It has tons of replay value because a documentary or performance you can watch once and forget about it, but a Christmas concert will rise again in views the following year, just like the music. My thoughts.

Mariah bikini pic / in the mix (90,754) by RJJ12 from USA
She looks really good in this pic. We haven’t gotten a new bikini shot in years. Looks like a mixture of dieting and maybe some cool sculpting. This looks like a good balanced body. Not too thin, kind of reminds me of her 2007 body where they caught her in the beach topless. Maybe she is preparing to film a video for in the mix. When does the new song premiere?

Re: Article: Anitta shares inspiring story after Mariah follows her (90,659) (90,665) by RJJ12 from USA
I liked Mariah's response to her. It was very kind and genuine. In recent years she has acknowledged and gave love to young female artists via social media, which I think is cool.

Re: Tommy cried to Beautiful Ones (90,599) (90,608) by RJJ12 from USA
Originally I thought it might had been somebody from Dru Hill or even Prince. I would have never thought it was Devante from Jodeci. Sisqo said Devante produced the song but I believe Corey Rooney is shown as the producer. Interesting.
