The Elusive Chanteuse Show (46,697)
by Carlos Belizário from Brazil
| |
|
|
As the tour approaches, I'm wondering if the beloved webmaster will post the reviews of the concerts. Since Mariah is visiting Asia I'm guessing there will be some serious translations going on. Is there a plan?

Laughable (45,907)

Some arguments here are really silly and laughable. Some lambs are saying Mariah's iconic/legendary status are being compromised by "eternaly 12" stuff or any other bull**** the press always say. What about MJ and Whitney? They were both surrounded by many many problems and jokes and will never be forgotten. Just like Mimi. That only agregates in their "troubled genius" status.

Hey lambily, it's time for us to make Billboard editors eat their hands. There is a poll about the strongest fan base. Let's put Lambs ahead here.

Relevancy (45,107)
by Carlos Belizário from Brazil
| |
|
|
Why are we still talking about Mariah being relevant or not? Let's take a look in today's pop music. Katy Perry has a rapper called Juicy J on a #1 song with a hip pop influenced record. Ariana Grande is doing her thing and is getting even bigger. If that's not Mariah's relevancy being shown then I don't know what it is.

Billboard article about the dress (44,537)
by Carlos Belizário from Brazil
| |
|

I'm really pissed about the article Billboard posted about Mariah getting dressed in a gown to go to the park with dembabies. It's really sad because they're making her look like crazy. They call it "bizarre" and "it's Mimi just being Mimi". That is so lame considering she's releasing an album. I agree with someone here that said there's people there who doesn't like her.

Dance mixes (41,417)
by Carlos Belizário from Brazil
| |
|

Does anyone know about the dance remixes? Are they going to be available on iTunes? It seems that it could really work given the dubstep/EDM moment that we're in. Especially the Jump Smokers Mix. Reminds me of something related to Avicii or Calvin Harris, but better.

Video Your're Mine and mediabase (41,301)
by Carlos Belizário from Brazil
| |
|

Hi guys, maybe I'm wrong but I do think that the remix video is going to somehow connect to the video of the original mix. Maybe show the past of the relashionship shown in the first video or how Mariah ended in the rainforest. I'm positive about it. Also, isn't the song growing in rotation in radio? That helps the dowloads. We gotta keep requesting, it's 2.500 something in mediabase. I live in Brazil so a song usually plays here only if it's a success in USA. Keep going lambs.

Hi guys, I'm new, I love the site. I read every day! Mariah is huge in Brazil. Her songs are often used in soap operas and especially the ballads are very popular here. The AC radio stations still play her a lot. I Still Believe, Bye Bye, I Want To Know What Love Is (#1 in Brazil for 24 weeks), I'll Be There, Touch My Body are the most popular. For the Pop stations, Heartbreaker, It's Like That, We Belong Together, I Know What You Want, Obsessed and Touch My Body are the most popular. Here is a list of Mariah's songs in soap operas: Vision of Love (Rainha da Sucata) My All (Corpo Dourado) Do You Know Where You Going To (Suave Veneno) I Want To Know What Love Is (Viver a Vida)
