This was by far one of the most honest interviews she gave in a long time, and I'm hoping I misunderstood that part of your message. To say she is just a recording artists now in my opinion is the biggest insult you can give Mariah. Again people should really watch that special closely and listen because she gave a strong performance, and she deserves much more respect for that then she is getting right now. I mentioned this in a previous message that I can say beforehand who is going to be the first to start bashing/be negative/critic the moment Mariah does something, and that is so sad. Some make it hard to enjoy these moments she is sharing with us. I love that people can express themselves on this page, but lately it's turning more into a "how can we bash Mariah this time", or "on what subject can we criticize Mariah on what she posted/wore/sang/released etc". It's okay to not always agree but some of you have taking it way too far. I just hope you are just as critical about yourself as you are of Mariah. I know that there will never be a moment that we all think alike and agree, but I do hope that some hop of this complain train they are on. (Monday 2 June 2014; 14:21)

The Mariah special (44,412) by Sunshine Divalamb from Germany For those claiming Mariah lipped the 3 songs on the NBC special should get their eyes and ears checked ASAP. We know she lipped performances nobody denies that, not even me. But to assume she lipped these 3 is an insult. I watched it over and over again and heard and saw clearly that she was singing live, was there a track in the background? "Yes I do think so." I think that some are just so stuck on the whole lip syncing that for them everything is lipped and are over analyzing the whole thing. Shame on them because this performance was actually good. This was the best WBT performance she did in my opinion. That and the fact she looked beautiful in her ensembles and the interview was very good as well. There is no wrong or right (44,251) by Sunshine Divalamb from Germany I have to lol when I see people trying to explain why this album isn't good and why others (including myself) are wrong for liking it. Who cares? It's someone's opinion to say I do or don't like it, there is no wrong or right with that. It all has something to do with taste. I can accept when people say I don't feel it with this album but come on is it really necessary giving your negativity with each post that's put up here? Don't like it means moving on to something better so why stick around? Saying she didn't release anything good in 17 years shows me you never been a fan, and talking like the lambs are just dumb followers is bullshit. It's a nickname she gave us. I have been a fan since 1990, and I liked this journey with Mariah. Each album has songs I like and songs I don't does that mean I follow her and agree with every little thing she does? No. It means she can't make an album were all the fans/lambs/supporters will say "we all love the whole album". That some say Mariah is just not doing it for them anymore, she can't give what they want etc. That is cool, for those it's time to move on and like others artists. What I don't get is why they still go on about it and even go as far as wishing Mariah to fail with this album. If you are done your are done, just leave. A lot of us just want to enjoy this era and experience it with each other, to see these messages in between just puts me in a unnecessary bad mood. That's why I think that people should just come down from their "I don't like this song". She gave us a few different kind off songs this past year, for every taste and type she had something great. She is one of the few artists still out there that is so versatile. Respect her as an artist, respect her vision and brighten yours. She deserves so much more than what she is getting at the moment from her fans, she gave us so much for more than 2 decades and what do a lot do? I'm a oldschool lamb since 1990 and with me a lot of others I know and I love all styles Mariah sings in, please don't label us just because we have been by Mariah's side since the beginning. I know some very young lambs that only like the older stuff and not really the newer stuff, so it has nothing to do with the age of the fan but more with their taste in sound. There are songs I don't care for, but I still appreciate them because I know a lot of others will love them and I know she put her heart and soul in these songs, just because it's not my taste doesn't mean the songs are bad. Some of you are just waiting to say something negative and will do so with every little thing she does. There is a difference between sometimes giving your (negative) opinion and always complain about every little thing. The song isn't even out for 24 hours and I'm sure some didn't even give it a second listen before they threw it in the trash. By the saying "true fans" it's more about not having to bash Mariah, say she is over and done with or the album will flop just because you don't like a song or 2. What kind off fan says that not knowing how the rest of the songs are going to be? If you can't keep the negativity out for one single thing maybe some should reconsider finding another artist to like, because for some Mariah is clearly not doing it anymore, to read it as a fan since the beginning I must say it gets to a point that it's getting old. It's not only the song some of you are negative about but about almost everything, maybe some should think to find another artist to admire because it's getting old, you just already know beforehand who is going to be the first to complain smh. I have no problem that some are negative, but the song isn't even out for 24 hours or that we heard a clean clear version and you are already bashing it into the ground. Mariah is a perfectionist and some songs need some listens before you love it, but to throw it in the trash like some are doing is not showing that you are a fan at all. (Tuesday 13 May 2014; 18:25)

I have been saying it over and over again that this isn't Mariah's best era but people are taking it way to far (just read the discussions here, says it all). It's to a point that all you read is negativity. From the songs, the album cover how photoshopped it is, how fake she looks, how her boobs always have to be out, how she behaves in interviews, the way she dresses, her weight gain (it's about the voice not the curves) and the list goes on and on. She can wear whatever she likes, she can use every picture she wants as an album cover, talk the way she wants in interviews, drink as much as she wants and have the weight on her that she has because at the end of the day we don't own her. Don't waste your time on her or your money if it bothers you so much. I don't take everything so serious because it isn't. Mariah is going to be Mariah, the person that I have been looking up to since VOL and always will look up too. Before you judge look at yourself first. Yes this isn't Mariah's best era I agree. But some of you are picking apart every little thing, like it's more about pointing at things that are seen as negative than anything else. She can't do antything right no matter what. From the name of the album, the tracklist, the album cover, her interviews etc. etc. For me personally Mariah is human and she can't make everybody happy but enough is enough already. New album and all that (43,147) by Sunshine Divalamb from Germany For weeks now I think 80% of the Lambily were complaining about this new album, no tracklist, no album name or picture etc. Now we do have all that and now people are saying I'm not going to buy the album because she doesn't deserve it. I mean if she is your idol why would you not want to buy the album, just because you don't agree on how things are going? I myself was upset too with the way things were going but never did I think ohhh you know what let me boycot her, she is my idol for 24 years now. It's cool that some still find things to complain about or even saying I'm not going to buy it, do that, keep your money in your wallet. I would really love to see the lambily come together again and enjoy what we are about to get, new music. I also read here that the drawing is a publicity stunt, well sorry to say it's not. We saw this drawing back in 2011 in the Life & Style magazine. So please do your homework before you say something like that. In all I'm happy and can't wait, I'm glad the release is not May 6th because now she can do some heavy promotion before the album is officially released. (Thursday 1 May 2014; 16:08)

Release of the new MC album (42,980) by Sunshine Divalamb from Germany The funny thing to me is that people really think Mariah is releasing her album Beyonce style. She never mentioned it nor did she mention it's a suprise release. The only thing she said is that she wants to release it digital first because she wants to be the one to reveal the album title and the tracklist seeing it was leaked the first time. Lambily (42,185) by Sunshine Divalamb from Germany I really hope that some of the rules the webmaster made for the messageboard will get applied more strictly like he said he would. I visit this website a few times a week but the tone of the messages got so negative that I just didn't want to log in anymore. I have no problem reading different sides of the subjects that are being discussed; I do however have a problem when it's not giving a little criticism but really disrespecting the person we all love. That some say why are certain people still a fan/lamb when they are downright disrespectful in every message that's posted is to be understood, nobody needs to be delusional or talk like everything is fine and dandy. But to go and spew your negativity for the person you call your idol is far from the way to go as well. I really hope we can get back to a place where we respect each other as much as we respect our idol, where we can say we agree to disagree and move on. (Tuesday 18 March 2014; 13:17)

So many MC eras through the years (42,173) by Sunshine Divalamb from Germany I'm a lamb since the beginning, I have been through every MC era like a lot of other lambs, even before we were called lambs. There where songs I absolutely love and songs that were kind off okay but didn't really do it for me. Even though there are (only) a few that I don't really like I still appreciate them, because I know that a lot of other lambs/fans and people that appreciate Mariah love them. And the fact that because I don't really like them doesn't mean these songs aren't any good, it's a matter of taste. For me she is a genius when it comes to her writing skills as well as her singing. We should never forget 100 people have 100 opinions; she can't make us all happy with the songs she releases or the songs she writes. For me I'm just happy she still writes and releases music and appreciate every song for as long as MC decides to make music. (Monday 17 March 2014; 13:56)

Isaac Ortez / Obsessed Mariah's worst song? (40,868) by Sunshine Divalamb from Germany I'm not sure if I understand you correctly "Obsessed" is one of her worst songs? It debuted at number 11 and was Mariah highest debut in over a decade. This song was in the top 40 for 20 weeks, longer than her number 1 smash hit "We Belong Together". It may be your personal opinion that it's her worst song but it's not a fact. And fyi, I love "Obsessed" and play it regularly, so I couldn't disagree more with what you are saying.
