About Edge McQueen from Philippines: I have been a die-hard Mariah Carey fan for 20 years. I collect her CD Singles and have followed her career ever since the Daydream era. Even before that time, I already liked her songs and I still can recall singing I'll Be There in my fourth-grade class in '93. Most importantly, Mariah's voice and music has been the soundtrack of my life and has helped me get through the most difficult and trying times. Edge McQueen = Edge Mariah Carey Queen. Lamb4Life!

The Elusive Chanteuse (43,098) by Edge McQueen from Philippines
I love the title. Now that the album release date, tracklist and album covers are announced, I hope Mariah is preparing for a massive promotional campaign. I would like her to shoot atleast 3 or 4 music videos so that when the album comes out and when we get to listen to the album as a "body of work", she is prepared to give us the first single (among the videos). I'm thinking "Thirsty", "Dedication", "Meteorite" and "Camouflage". Lol. I remember during the Butterfly era she shot 5 music videos before the album came out (Honey, Honey Remix, Butterfly, The Roof, Breakdown). If "One More Try" is indeed a George Michael cover, I am really excited. Her European, Asian and South American lambs and casual fans would surely love it. I am glad she pushed the release date to May 27, that way she has ample time to promote it. I hope she uses her time wisely this era. Live (truly live) performances (Billboard Awards, WMA) and interviews, as well as a whole lot of music videos - quality music videos. But then again, she may live up to her new title - The Elusive Chanteuse.

Mariah's new album (42,722) by Edge McQueen from Philippines
Mariah's new album will be a double album entitled "Songbird" and "Sweet Soul Odyssey". The first CD will contain Mariah-only tracks like "You're Mine" and "The Art of Letting Go" and perhaps some Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson covers/tributes. The second CD will feature collaborations with Stevie Wonder, Miguel, Nas, Wale, Maxwell, Fabolous and few other surprises. It will be initially released as an iTunes exclusive and can only be bought as an album because Mariah wants us to listen to it in its entirety. The new single is coming out as early as next week. I just hope Mariah can loose weight before the album is released so she could promote it properly.

Album May 6th (42,505) by Edge McQueen from Philippines
I am one of those who believes (or hopes) Mariah will release a double album. It perfectly make sense, she has not released a studio album in a long time and a double album will be an amazing gift to the lambs. Disc 1 may be "solo" records while disc 2 may be a remix album or a duets album. After all, having an album with more than four guest appearances is so not her (with the exception of Glitter). If my memory serves me right, she has collaborated with a bunch of artists for her new album: Miguel, Trey Songz, Rick Ross and Meek Mill, R. Kelly, Stevie Wonder, Maxwell, Nas, Fabolous, Wale, Rumours, Justin Timberlake (did I miss anyone on the list?). I still wish she would collaborate with Beyonce (and Janet Jackson). Finally, she could have a specific name or title for each CD (lol wishful thinking). I remember back in the day when Smashing Pumpkins released a double cd entitled "Melancholy" and the infinite sadness. I thought that was kinda brilliant. But then Nelly (who is sweat and suite) and Beyonce (I am Sasha fierce) had the same idea. Bottomline, our dear Mimi never fails to surprise us (or me, for that matter). I'm pretty sure she will never fail me on the new album. It's gonna be epic. The songbird and her sweet soul odyssey.

Glee: the music of Mariah Carey (36,614) by Edge McQueen from Philippines
Eversince the first season of Glee, I have always fantasized of a whole episode dedicated to the one and only Mariah Carey. The only Mariah song the Glee cast has sung is AIWFCIY. **sigh** I hope when AI starts, Fox will cook up a Mariah episode on Glee. There are a lot of songs to choose from with Mariah having one of the most extensive catalogues in music. It'll be fun for sure. Lovin' MC long time!

Mariah trilogy (36,613) by Edge McQueen from Philippines
For years, I have always loved and enjoyed Mariah's (intentional/unintentional) desire to create sequels to her love songs from different albums. I tend to create short playlists of these songs and listen to them and make a story out of them, like a movie or something. Here are some of the few Mariah trilogies on my list.
1. Underneath The Stars - Fourth of July - Bliss
2. My All - After Tonight - I Only Wanted
3. We Belong Together - Don't Forget About Us - I Stay In Love
4. My Saving Grace - Fly Like A Bird - I Wish You Well
5. The Roof - Lullaby - (TBA)
6. Shake It Off - Cruise Control - Up Out My Face
I wonder if you guys have your own MC trilogy on your playlist? Lovin' MC long time!

New ballad coming soon (36,309) by Edge McQueen from Philippines
B Scott tweeted that Mariah's prepping up a new ballad for the lambily. Will this be her next single? I'm dying to hear a new song from Mariah. Hopefully this song will be a tremendous leap from Triumphant, something different, vocally-driven, and inspiring. I can't wait. Love MC long time.

Underneath The Stars (36,303) by Edge McQueen from Philippines
I have studied Mariah's discography since I became a lamb in 1995, and for the longest time I still believe that "Underneath The Stars" should have been given a full single treatment in 1996. UTS is a masterpiece, it's Mariah at her best musically, lyrically and vocally. I have been collecting her CD Singles and I am unfortunate that up until now I still don't have a copy of the US Promo CD Single. I still pray that someday I will be able to own a copy of UTS and add it to my collection. "Drifting, drifting, drifting..." Lamb4Lyf!

Mariah cover (36,257) by Edge McQueen from Philippines
I heard that MC performed U2's "With Or Without You" on her high school prom (I'm not sure whether it's true or not). I'm really curious how she sounded back then. I hope we get to hear this cover version soon. I'm sure she'd sound incredible.

Mariah #1's tour setlist (36,256) by Edge McQueen from Philippines
I have always fantasized about MC doing a concert, singing all her number 1 hits. With 18 #1's, I think she's the only living solo artist who can complete an entire show with just #1's. I know this is almost impossible, because I heard she doesn't enjoy singing some of these songs live (Love Takes Time and I Don't Wanna Cry, which I really love btw). Although it will remain a fantasy to me, I have figured out a setlist with a specific order of songs with lots of costume breaks lol.
01. Emotions
02. Someday
03. Honey
04. Heartbreaker (Main/Remix Medley)
Costume Change
05. I'll Be There
06. I Don't Wanna Cry
07. My All (Main/Club Mix Medley)
Costume Change
08. Dreamlover
09. Fantasy
10. Touch My Body
Costume Change
11. Love Takes Time
12. One Sweet Day
13. Vision of Love
Costume Change
14. Thank God I Found You (Make It Last Remix)
15. Don't Forget About Us
16. Always Be My Baby
Costume Change
17. We Belong Together
18. Hero
The opening and closing parts are very predictable but that's how she does it most of the time.

Hi everyone. Have you guys seen the twitter avatar of Mariah Connection? I'm quite intrigued. It's a pretty photo of MC. I wonder where they'd get 'em?

Mariah: double studio album (36,130) by Edge McQueen from Philippines
I am still wishing for the day that Mariah will release a double studio album. Perhaps she can name each CD with a different title. She could release two singles simultaneously for R&B/urban and for pop/AC. She is so talented that she can produce more songs for this era, I mean it will be almost 4 years since MOAIA when her new album drops on March 2013. So a double CD would be a great treat. I know some would complain about quantity over quality, but I'm pretty sure a lot of lambs will enjoy a double CD. I'm not suggesting that she create something like "I Am... Sasha Fierce", because several other artists have produced double albums like Smashing Pumkins in '95 and Nelly in '03. Those albums were successful too. I just thought MC should make her own double CD because she has so much to offer! Plus more singles and more videos. But then again, this is just wishful thinking.

Triumphant CD singles (36,036) by Edge McQueen from Philippines
Triumphant promo CD singles are sold in ebay at very expensive prices. Does anyone have any idea when the commercial CD singles come out? I hope IDJ and Universal will release CD singles. They should also consider the CD-buying demographic as most of Mariah's followers grew up in the 90's and 00's when CD singles were mostly sold to promote music.
