Mariah on AI and Nicki (37,563) by Nattalie from USA I don't think them two are beefing anymore. Anyways, this week Mariah was cracking me up. She looked like she was about to explode. Litterally. When Lazoro sang she just didn't know what to do and she put her hands on her head like she was just trying to find her way back to earth. I bet we all felt the same way, at least I did. She was lost for words which I can understand. There was nothing to say about Lazoro, nothing, besides that she and the rest made a mistake on picking him for the show. Did you all see Nicki laughing her butt off when Mariah was about to scream? Nicki was like, yeah girl, I know how you feel kind of look. That's why Nicki didn't talk, because Mariah basically covered for her. Nicki has always had great taste on AI. (Monday 15 April 2013; 3:45)

Mariah vs? (37,485) by Nattalie from USA I was just thinking for fun and games, what if the industry did something like going in on each other type deal. But nothing personal and nothing serious. Kind of how like rap artist do rap battles or cyphers, but at the end of the day they shake hands. Ever since Beyonce came out with that song called Bow Down, I can't help but think of the idea. Lol. Who do you guys think would win? Beyonce vs Mariah. Beyonce can dance, and sing and has great beats. Her lyrics suck and makes no sense, her music videos suck and her voice is not as good as Mariah's. Mariah's voice is better, her lyrics are better, songs are all just about awesome per album. She can sit and sing and still be as amazing as Beyonce. But it would be nice to see these artist go at each other, not in a Mariah vs Eminem way, but something close but clean. Brad (37,452) by Nattalie from USA If Beyonce came out with songs like Bow Down, and say I'm number one is this and smack that trick and guess what they did, smaked that trick, then Mariah Carey can say best selling female artist and #1. At least she earned it dang. I'm just saying we need to stand up for that lady and always be aware of her accomplishments. Every little bit means something. Wheather it's you or someone else. Be proud and rep what you have done. If you were building your resume, would you erase it because it's been a while? And the thing is, it's only been a while to outsiders, but not people like herself, because she lives and breaths music. I think for a woman with kids she is doing the best she can to do whatever she wants to do with her life and accomplishments. (Wednesday 20 March 2013; 4:08)

Probably because there are so many rules on this message board. I don't know, but that mess is straight up real and I'm proud of Mariah for not being in it. All of us should be thankful for that and just accept Mariah for what it is. She is doing her best with these cheaters and payola mess. Mariah and airplay/illuminati (37,435) by Nattalie from USA You know, I find all of you a little funny. I think Mariah's team is doing the absolute best that they can. Have you guys not realized the foolery within the industry? Mariah has not sold herself out guys and we should be proud. Other artist have. None of you guys have even mentioned about who gets played and why, you all focus on the fact that Mariah is not getting played. Have you all thought of the practice of payola is happening within the industry? I believe it exist more than it ever has today. Why everytime I turn on the TV I hear the same exact song on the radio and it sucks and it goes to number 1? Today Beyonce just came out with a song called Bow Down. It starts off great but it sucks over all. But watch it go to the top. Look at Rhiana, people like her gets to the top and she aint no good guys. She sells herself. She is a product, not a singer or a person like Mariah. Same for Gaga, she is a product, not a person. They don't move the industry, the industry moves them. Also guys look at who is always being played on the radio and is always on the screen. Music industry is not the same competition as it used to be back in the day. Back then, you had to be great and it wasn't about your looks. Back then there were many great artist that became well known even when race was an issue, we still had a chance to hear the greats of that day in time. But today, nope. We are brainwashed and only able to hear the select few that they allow us to hear, knowning that there are many great singers out there in the world today as we can see, through American Idol and other shows. But guess what, where are most of these singers today? When I turn on the urban stations all I hear is Beyonce, Rhianna, Jayz, Lil Wayne, Kanye, and the rest of that same group. And that's basically the radio. It's sad, because when I talk to others and their music, those people is all they know. Even if they remixed old songs, they would never know who made the original first or even care. (Tuesday 19 March 2013; 8:11)

Mariah and music (37,432) by Nattalie from USA You guys are over reacting. Mariah being on American Idol is the best thing since she was discovered. I bet you all that. I'm for sure that her new album comes out, it will go to the top no doubt about it. Guys, the reason why Almost Home didn't make it to the top is because the song sucks. It's a Disney song, not a Mariah song. Her lyrics are the only thing good about it. It's over produced and nothing like a Mariah Carey song. When Mariah releases her new real stuff that on her real CD, it will be classic Mariah that is for all of us, not some of us. Songs like Triumphant and Almost Home is not a mutual song. So many people don't like that electronic club bouncing song. I prefer the rap but not everyone wants to hear a rap song. But one thing we all agree on, is that we all simply love Mariah and when she brings just Mariah to the table, all will be amazing. (Tuesday 19 March 2013; 7:59)

American Idol (37,398) by Nattalie from USA You all know I love Mariah and I think her advice and thoughts are right on point. Keith Urban needs to get off the show. His comments are the worst and non helpful. Randy Jackson is right on point too along with Mariah. Now Nicki, I'm shocked that I love that girl. I really do. She brings life to the show and she is funny and cute and loveable. Her character is very warm and she seems fun to be around. She is my type of people. I also love her realness and not afraid of saying anything no matter how crazy it sounds, like the waffles. I do that same thing by the way and it has to be aunt jimmima syrup too. Now it's like I feel as if I have to be forced to watch her breast everytime I watch her lately. Why can't I just watch what she does without seeing the breast? Almost Home pros and cons (37,249) by Nattalie from USA I love the hook. It's so catchy and it feels so good and true. The lyrics are the best part of the song. I feel so uplifted. Cons, I hate the production and style of the song. Why does it have to be so computer like? Her voice is chopped up instead of smooth. It makes no sense to me. I like voices to sound realistic, not two of her. Adlib is cool, but not a complete double of a track chopped up to death. (Tuesday 19 February 2013; 22:42)

Defending Niki (37,142) by Nattalie from USA Are you guys for real? How could you side with Mariah completely on this? Like I said, Mariah was right, but she was killing that girl with her words. I watched it twice and it was crazy both times. First Keith Urban made that aweful face after the girl said she likes country, then Mariah added fuel to the flame saying, he didn't like what you said and then laughed. Then Mariah tried to explain but failed. Then Randy made it even worse with his statements. They were picking that girl appart like a frog. I would have hated to have sounded that great but still got picked at at the audition. Do I get to go to Hollywood or not? On top of that, Randy had that questionable hmmm I don't know about you, but I guess I'll give it a try. The issue was, it wasn't that big of a deal, but it was blown up. Niki was right when she said watch the tape. And Mariah added on and said, "So that's what you do? You watch the tape every night?" I actually like Niki now/AI (37,137) by Nattalie from USA Her personality so far is hilarious. She brings the show to life and she got jokes. Mariah got some good jokes too and I love how they go in on each other. I wish I loved Niki's music as much as her personality. Anyways, have any of you watched American Idol before? This is exactly how the show has always been. There is no judging at the beginning. Its the weed out time. You're either in or out, not getting help. Help is for those that deserve help. I mean, I agree with both, because yes Mariah knows what she is talking about, but seriously it could have been handled better. Yes, the contestants needs to find where they are musically, but you know how many different songs you have to sing on Idol? All those different genres? So why does it matter? You can either sing or not sing. Funny thing is, when another person got on stage and did well, Randy said, see you can sing anything with a voice like that and singing well. But when it came to certain people, the judges were like, so who are you, you need to know, if not, I don't think you can continue. Lol. (Friday 25 January 2013; 20:59)

I think she compliments the show as much as Mariah and I love the way they act. Also I think Niki has good judgement so far. I still believe that they are acting. But yeah, when I first purchased her albums, which I'm still in the process of doing, I would put on a specific great pair of headphones and just analyze her songs to find great ideas or feel the creativity. To me, it's like seeing my dad in his underwear. Leave it alone, turn around and go the other direction. I don't think we all have to worry about MC and her career. She will be fine. I only complained not on the behalf of Mariah but on the behalf of myself. Now if I was Mariah, I'd let it go and sweep it under the rug. But sadly since I work in retail, I am being driven insane by the Christmas music. I can't even stand to put on Christmas CD's unless it's before I go to work or on an off day. Anyways, I always knew this song was very popular, but I had no idea that it was as popular as it is. Did you all know there are about at least 20 different versions of this song, none including the remixes done by Mariah. And when I say least, I really meant the minimum. All they play at my job is 5 different songs sung by 50 different people. I have to hear all these different covers and I'm going nuts. There is a hispanic version of it, probably an arab version, and japanese. I heard this song from singers that I don't even know. (Wednesday 12 December 2012; 10:15)

All I want to do is be a fan and I didn't know that knowing all of this was part of the package. I'm sorry to be such a little kid, but I just don't see Mariah in this way. Thank God she is married. I see her more as a sista girl. Like me and my girls, we talk about such, but we don't tell each other everything, unless our relationship has gone bad and nothing is need to be kept private no more.
