About Mark from United States: Mariah fan since the beginning, have wanted to marry her since I was like 12. Into snowmobiling and music.

Me. I am cautiously optimistic (44,298) by Mark from United States
Not sure if this has been posted already or not but YDKWTD is officially going to be released as an all-format single to radio with the intro being kept. There will also be 2 versions, one with Wale and one without him. No official date yet but definitely June. This is all great news and gives me some hope for this era, but still not getting my expectations too high since promo has been pretty nonexistent so far. This song just needs some initial airplay and I think it's so good that it'll just take off from there on its own.

WTF is going on? I need to rant and MC needs to slap someone (44,254) by Mark from United States
As an obsessive music fan, I've never seen an album release handled this way before. I know that it's all about the music and not the sales, but that's my whole point. This is all way beneath an artist at Mariah's level and this album as a whole. I don't blame her, JD, or fellow lambs for the projected first-week sales. I blame the heaping pile of crap that is her record label. She gave them an excellent album and they dropped the ball, or rather just stood there and looked at it while it bounced past them. No official single since YME when there was at least 8 songs on the album that would have been better single choices to begin with. There is absolutely no reason another single couldn't have been given a solid radio and iTunes release at least a week ago to hype things up. Now we're left to hope that a single is going to be released that will give the album longevity and keep this era going. I'm not holding my breath. In today's industry if a big name's album doesn't do well in the first week it usually vanishes without a trace without any proper singles or further promotion (see: Britney Jean). I know this has all been said before but I'm angry as a fan and for Mariah herself. She's constantly the underdog even though she's proven herself countless times, but the difference this time is that she's not even being given a fair chance to do that. Don't mean to be a downer but this is becoming my fave album and I just know it deserves better.

Feeling guilty (43,915) by Mark from United States
So the whole album is on my iPod already and I feel pretty guilty about it, even though I've got it preordered on iTunes and will probably get a physical copy too. It still bugs me though that it leaked already and that I caved and downloaded it, and although I know it's all more about the music than the sales I feel this album deserves to sell big because I think it's truly in MC's top 3 albums ever. Cry is an awesome opening track and reminds me of a Billy Joel song for some reason, really adult and emotional sounding. Faded and Dedicated are both amazing and straight 90's Mariah, if she had named this album Butterfly II these two songs would have to be on it. Make It Look Good is definitely the closest thing to a EMOM track on the album, while You Don't Know What To Do and Meteorite are in my opinion 2 of her best uptempo songs ever. Camouflage has great lyrics and I think One More Try might her best cover ever. I had high expectations and this album exceeded them, I can't find anything negative to say about it so I'll shut up now and just say I hope it gets the credit it deserves.

Confused (43,741) by Mark from United States
I'm not understanding any Today show criticism. I thought the performance of TMB was excellent and energetic and her voice sounded great. Also during the new song there was a backing track being used but to me it sounded like alot of it was being sung live as well. I don't think she should be faulted her for using a backing track and letting it do a little of the work when performing an uptempo song for the very first time at 9am with millions of people watching. ABMB also sounded great minus the flub. I was impressed by her vocals and definitely didn't regret getting up on my day off to watch it, in fact it got me woken up and set my day off to a good start. Great performance, haters can shut it.

I'm thirsty (43,565) by Mark from United States
I don't care what anyone says, this song is badass and when it's on it makes my car speakers sound like they're going to explode. This is just what Mariah and her fanbase needed. Ballads are great but it was time to switch it up, this officially amped the level of excitement for this album for me and I think it's a great song, especially for summer.

Does anyone agree with this? (43,281) by Mark from United States
The added tracks on the deluxe edition are great but I would have really liked to hear a mastered version of "Skydiving" included too. That song is sick, I love it.
